Amazing staff, couldnt do enough for us. A credit to the hotel. You should be so proud of your staff. We had our wedding there last week and from the minute we booked it we knew we made the right choice. Everything was excellent from start to finish. Friendly staff, excellent food and service, great rooms. Rosemarie is brilliant, nothing a bother for them, hotel and staff are so helpful and friendly. we'll be back for sure. Well what can I say. Absolutely lovely hotel. Myself and my husband have stayed here few times. we taken our nephew on 25th and 26th of July for few days. He has autism. The staff where Absolutely amazing and so friendly. On first nite there the hotel restaurant was very busy. What we ordered for main Myself I got something else. Also for desert Myself and nephew ordered the same thing but got cheesecake which we didn't order. Spoke to hotel reception that nite. The next we where treated to a lovely lunch and desert. Dinner that evening was just lovely. Staff are so friendly and very helpful. The young lady that is over the restaurant staff is so lovely and couldn't do enough for us. Will most differently be back again.

Dropped in on Monday for dinner. Absolutely shocked at the standard of food, inedible, does the hotel have a qualified chef or someone who bungs the frozen food in a microwave? I think this hotel is living in the past their menu needs modernization with fresh food and a proper chef who can actually cook.

Stayed here for the may bank holiday and will never be back. We went home and left my 1 year olds Amazon fire tablet (which was expensive) in the room under the duvet. Phoned hotel the next day and they said it’s not there. Phoned back another 2 days and still not there. Obviously one of the housekeeping has stolen it, I hate to accuse anyone of steeling but only that I know 100% we left it there then it’s the truth. I know it was my fault for forgetting it but you think there would be honest people about. Absolute disgrace.

Myself and children LOVE the pool. Their ages range from 2-13 so great fun for all. Lovely warm infant pool too. The food is exceptional, children's menus can be altered to suit with no problem atall.

Just back from a 2 day stay in this beautiful hotel. Even the weather picked up in between storms lol Food was beautiful great portions size, an leisure facilities were great. Sauna steam room Jacuzzi pool an warm tiled beds an beautiful swimming pool. Just perfect 👍🏻 wud Deff be back Cheers.

Booked the Christmas experience and was sorely disappointed. There was absolutely NO Christmas atmosphere in the hotel, mrs clause stood behind the hot chocolate table the whole time we were in the Christmas living room and did not interact with the kids, there was no Christmas music playing anywhere in the hotel and most of the staff seemed to think it was an inconclusive to them if you asked them for anything! Will not be booking again, don’t waste your money.

I'm absolutely disgusted by the attitude of the staff at the Mount Errigal Hotel in Letterkenny! We are due to go there this weekend for a Santa experience. The hotel phoned me on Tuesday to confirm our booking and make me aware of the new covid restrictions. As I'm unvaccinated I'm able to stay in the hotel but I'm not able to use any of there facilities like the bar or restaurant or leisure facilities. I accepted this and told them to cancel my booking. However since speaking to a few friends who are also going away this weekend to Shandon hotel and to Jackson's hotel all unvaccinated they are able to still attend without any restrictions. I have contacted these hotels myself and they have confirmed that. I have checked the guidance and I can see the restrictions have chanced since 7th Dec. Residence of hotels need proof of immunity to access bars and restaurants. Proof of Immunity has to be in the form of DCC — Digital covid certificate. There are 4 ways to obtain a digital covid certificate. *Based on vaccination *Based on recovery of a positive test *Based on a negitive PCR test *Based on a negitive antigen test (lateral flow test) I'm happy to comply and get tested and provide a PCR test or lateral flow test. I have raised this issue with the manager as it is stated clearly in black and white. He informed me they are only accepting the first 2 ways. So this is the hotel's rule not them following the rules!

Everything was perfect cleaning, food and room but mattress was not good and uncomfortable.

We have never stayed here before will definitely be back. Looking forward to are next stay. Great parking facilities. Lovely food and very welcoming and attentive staff.

We have just spent the past 4 days here and I have to say we have all had an amazing time, the kids absolutely loved the pool, and the food was beautiful, we would highly recommend the family deal xx.

Just back from a lovely family stay in the mount errigal. The hotel was great. Clean and spacious, very family and child friendly. The kids loved the pool and was great to have no time limit or have to pre book.
The food was outstanding no matter what we ordered. The staff are very friendly and helpful and can’t do enough for you.
A special mention to Ciara in the bar who went above and beyond serving us. She engaged so well with my little girl (2years) who now says Ciara is her new holiday friend 😂 Can not recommend this hotel enough for family trips as there is also so many great activities and family friendly spots close by. It’s great value for all included. We will be back again.

Stayed here with my partner 19th and 20th December 2020 and would highly recommend. Staff are super friendly and helpful, rooms are spacious and comfortable and the food is absolutely delicious! COVID safety measures are enforced in all public areas of the hotel but they still manage to promote a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Will definitely be staying here again.

Myself and my wife Ashleigh enjoys our stays at the mount errigal hotel as each time we book the staff are fantastic always makes us welcome and nothing is to much trouble for them the food is fantastic it really a real family atmosphere would recommend it to anyone and we do keep coming back we wouldn’t stay anywhere eles. To all the staff at mount errigal hope you all have a lovely Christmas and hopefully we will see you all in jan.

We really enjoyed staying in Mount Errigal Hotel. Room are spacious and clean. Food is delicious. Staff very friendly.

We booked a double room and got a room with a 1.20 m bed, which is probably the standard on demand. The staff were not very friendly. The food was fine. In bathrooms, stranger hair lay on the floor. After we exchanged the room with a single room (! ) with larger bed, the stay was ok.

Fantastic family friendly hotel. Its clean, facilities are brilliant and the food was beautiful. Staff were great too.

Hair dryer and remote control for TV, no function. At breakfast, food from the previous evening was still on the floor. In the bathroom, the joint mass detached from the joints of the tiles. When the shortcomings were mentioned, it was indeed addressed. However, they have not been fixed until departure.

Great location for traveling to and from places in Donegal. Friendly staff and good food. Wi-Fi signal not great in our room + some building renovation work in changing room at leisure centre is my reason for deducting 1 Star. I do recommend it nevertheless.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was okay, but really just okay. The hotel itself was very clean. You should be aware, that the hotel is a little older. This especially counts for the rooms and the bathroom in particular. Half of the last mentioned is under water after you take a shower, so bring your bath sandals. Overall it is an okay hotel for a very good price.

Very clean rooms were clean and spacious. Enjoyed our stay. The only complaint I would have is the breakfast. It states full Irish breakfast. There wasn't any soda or potato bread. Not an Irish breakfast without these.

As part of the The N51 Trekkers we had the pleasure of staying in the Mount Errigal Hotel on 13th & 14 April 2018. From the moment we arrived we were made feel so welcome. Accommodation, food, service and staff were top class. We went hiking both days with guides chosen by the hotel Marion and Denis we could not have got any better. Thank you for and amazing weekend. Stayed here countless times. It's a home away from home when we come to Donegal. Kids love the pool and the staff are very friendly. Good food also.

Rooms where comfortable, staff very friendly and accommodating. As we had booked a package deal we dinned off a set menu which was very acceptable and child friendly. Was a little disappointed in the night time entertainment for adults and kids. Hotel could do with a games room or kids club. The beer was absolutely terrible and had to return many drinks as they were flat and tasted weird which prevented us from going to the bar the second night, and many other residence commented on the bad alcohol. Otherwise the hotel is ideally located and staff very very nice.

Food CORRT But closing of the kitchens too early while the hotel hosts the evening of the Pan Celtic Festival for 4 days. Staff friendly but absolutely not responsive. Too much waiting to order beers at the bar.

Highly recommend, Great atmosphere, Friendly Staff. Great service including bed and breakfast. Although fire alarm did go off at 5 in the morning very briefly (Around 5seconds) it was a good place to stay.

Good location when visiting the Letterkenny area. Nice reasonably priced modern hotel with restaurant and bar on site, leisure facilities available. I found the bedrooms and especially the bathroom on the small side but nevertheless well worth visiting for a stay or drinks and a meal.

Won a Facebook competition for an over night stay in the honeymoon suite with breakfast. Could not recommend this hotel enough, the staff were lovely, room was Devine & the food was fantastic. Booked in to stay again in may and am looking forward to it already. Thank you to all at the Mount Errigal.

Attended a wedding and stayed overnight here in November. The entire building, including our room, was absolutely freezing. We had to request the heat in our room be turned on and someone had to come with a toolbox to do this. The fire escape in the wedding reception area was held closed with a chair. The room was clean and comfortable enough once the issue with the heating had been sorted out. There was no telephone in the room so communication with other areas of the hotel was not possible without physically leaving the room. Wedding meal was good but breakfast was mediocre, to put it mildly. I would not stay here again unless it was quite a bit cheaper and I definitely would not stay here in wintertime, the place just had an icy chill throughout. Drinks were expensive.

Decent enough Hotel, smooth check in. Nice big spacious public bar. Had the Duck for an evening meal, very disappointed completely over cooked and dry. For an A la Carte menu at least one should have a choice in how it's cooked. Thumbs down to the Chef for plating that standard of food. The breakfast was plentiful and hot, but the tea and coffee tasted terrible, maybe there is too much lime in the water there. The barman in the residents lounge is a huge asset to the hotel (Michael)

Had a great stay. Hotel is lovely good food good staff clean rooms.

Big place. Very capable of being a 5 star venue but no attention to detail. Dated decor. Staff great but understaffed on busy nights. Averaged 10 min wait for serving. Children allowed to run around like a kindergarten. Stayed two nights. First breakfast we had to open the hotplate to see if there was anything there. 9am. Second day was fine. We won't stay there again. Rooms are lovely but no minibars. Housekeeping woke us early on day 2 checking if the room was empty. That's just wrong. Worst thing about the place is it's mismanaged. Best thing is the staff. Very helpful and accommodating.

Called in for a late dinner on a Saturday evening. We were able to choose between the restaurant (a la carte) and bar menus. The Josper Grill options on the bar menu were fantastic and we stayed there. Excellent and knowledgeable service, amazing food, great atmosphere. Highly recommended if you're looking for great food and an enjoyable experience.

Dropped in for dinner after a day away. Quick service and good food even when ordering just before the kitchen closed at 10pm. Always a favourite.

Overall a decent quality budget hotel. If staying on a 'Groupon' or similar deal then the hotel is good value for money. Large buffet breakfast available each morning and the Bar food is nice. Drinks are expensive although that isn't unique to this hotel and is standard throughout most hotels and bars in Ireland now.

Really easy to find location: close proximity to the town centre and easy to get to any of the main routes out of the town. Rooms are absolutely massive, the bedroom and bathroom combined are bigger than my apartment! Staff are very helpful. Food was tasty — we had the sharing platter for two from the bar menu, my half left me very full! Cooked breakfast in the morning was delicious, in particular the sausage and black pudding was in my top three I've had. Only downside I could give was that there was a lack of potato and soda bread with the fry. And the rooms, although clean and well maintained, are a little bit outdated looking compared to other hotels. Otherwise no complaints at all.

The hotel staff were great and very attentive and on the ball. The room was massive but dated in its decor. Having said that the bed was clean and cozy and the TV worked and for the price we payed I would go again in the morning. The food in the evening was amazing. We had steak and it was fantastic. Swimming pool and leisure facilities were a welcomed bonus and the Jacuzzi was great for a Saturday evening. The gym was quiet and great for the Sunday morning to get the day off to a great start. We will most certainly be back.

Attended a wedding mid week. Food was delicious. Hotel was very good great interior. Staff were very pleasant had a great time. Rooms were clean and slept great. Noon checkout is great and good leisure facilities.

Very nice, family friendly hotel with spacious rooms and nice breakfast. Also has great Spa area and swimming pool.

Not bad foods great although the pool is freeeeeezing and the rooms could use some memory foam mattresses instead of Spring ones.

Me and wife and kids and all my inlaws stayed at this hotel there was 32 of us it was so so good the rooms are very good the staff were lovely and so helpfull the food was amasing so 10 out of 10 im going 2 book another weekend soon.

The rooms are tidy and spacious (especially the bathroom). There were some traces of mold in the shower/bathtub but overall it was clean. The staff was overall very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was good, although the breakfast room has the charme of a canteen. The best thing was the bar (the food was very good and not too expensive) and the Leisure centre. We liked most the Jacuzzi and the swimming pool. Only drop of bitterness: the hairdryers in the locker rooms are rusty and don't look trustworthy.

The room were excellent and hotel décor very good, it's a pity the bar staff are not in a similar vein. Bar services was the worst I have experienced outside the Aviva stadium and the manner of the bar staff is very poor. There is no cash back in the hotel. The staff of the residents bar have a poorer attitude than at the main bar. If away for a weekend of golf or cycling this is not the place to stay if you want to enjoy yourself be you young or old.

Very disappointed. Booked an upgrade family room for 2 adults and 2 children (aged 16 and 7) Paid extra supplement for 16 year old. The family room was a let down. Two very small double beds. Children had to share a bed. Room very hot. Went to open the windows. Two of the windows were broken and nailed shut. No air conditioning in room found it very hard to sleep in as a result of the lack of air. Half chewed biscuit found on arrival on one of the lockers. Bar staff were very slow and some times it felt like we were disturbing them by asking for drinks. Breakfast was madness. Werent sure what to do no staff to tell us to just sit wherever we wanted and help ourselves. Very disappointed with the whole stay.

Stayed here so that we could have the car repaired ion Derry rather than in the south as the cost was a lot less. Found the hotel on Google Maps and booked online. No problems, no worries and no hassel. Staff are nice and friendly, rooms are good, pool was fantastic as the boys would not leave it. Food was great but the servings were just too big for us. Bar staff, dinner staff, reception and cleaning staff were all nice and very friendly. Had a great time there and will be going back there for our summer holidays. Whole family loved the hotel.
