My friends an I had to wait over 2 hours for a bowl of soup the staffs attitudes was absolutely apauling when we asked what was the hold up an the soup came out cold.

Not much to say except exceptional food to say the least! the sirloin was cooked to perfection and seasoned beautifully and the staff are among the friendliest I've met… Will almost definitely return to the clanree Hotel and the fantastic mcgettigans bar … would highly recommend a visit… now I'm away to enjoy the live music … yeee haw 😉

We had our daughters 21st Birthday party in MC Gettigans main Street last night. We were so impressed with with the layout of the room. Personalised signs, personalised menus. The hot buffet was so well served by amazing friendly staff. The bar staff were fantastic and Una or (Oonagh) not sure of the correct spelling, She was amazing. She couldn't do enough for us, so professional at her job, and made us feel so welcome. There was also a gentleman in a red blazer didn't catch his name he made sure guests were all happy during the night. He was fantastic too. Paul I think his name was rang me 3 times coming up to the party to make sure We were happy with everything, or if he could help in any other way. Mc Gettigans staff is a real credit to the hotel. The food was just amazing. Highly recommend for any functions people may have coming up, it just made it a stress free and the most enjoyable night for us all. Thank u all♥️

Fantastic reception service maid service and excellent beds.

We stayed here recently and had a great experience from booking to arrival and really enjoyed our stay from start to finish. We had the Tipsy Tea which was delicious, followed by a lovely overnight stay with a meal. Dinner and atmosphere in the bar was great, staff were very friendly. We will definitely be back soon.

I would recommend this hotel highly. Spotlessly clean, beautiful food and wonderful staff. We will definitely be staying there again. Many thanks for a fantastic overnight stay.

Beautiful hotel with really helpful staff. Food is superb and the disability room has an excellent wet room shower. Very reasonable with great deals all year round.

Our stay in McGettigan's this past week was a last minute surprise and we found a gem in Letterkenny! From booking to check-out, the experience was exceptional! The staff were super helpful, our room blew us away with it’s luxury and the hotel restaurant is amazing! Thank you so much for everything! We had a ball and our stay was one we won’t forget!

Staff amazing, rooms of very high standard, food and service out of this world! top drawer for deffs.

Rooms are a decent standard and just had the veggie Pad Thai and it was delicious.

Have never experienced a worse stay in all my days of travelling. The attitude from the staff was diabolical, all started by a staff member that was drinking secretly from underneath the counter. Room had defective toilet seat, hair in the bath and on the single bed, hand prints on the sink units. We were mortified being asked to leave on the say so of the staff member that was under the influence of something, not even asked by the manager what had happened, just phoned and told to get out.

Beautiful hotel nice stuff very tasty food good location comfortable bed highly recommended to everyone everything you need thanks.

My brothers and I were here a while ago and I must say that, the price was better than other hotels and it was clean with very comfortable beds. They now have sitting area outside the hotel but there was a little bit of noise due to renovation which is understandable.

Staff were terrible apart from the reception girls. Security guard was a ignorent prick. Rooms were not clean and stink of smoke.

3 well fed bikers in here today, we were made very welcome, very professional friendly staff, and the best steak I’ve ever had, would highly recommend this place, we will be back.

Staying in one of there newly furnished rooms lovely.

Stayed there on Saturday night. Room was very clean and bed comfy. We ate in the Warehouse bar and restaurant and the food was amazing. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Stayed there last night, the sports bar is the best I've seen in a hotel, room was spotless and modern. Food was great. Staff are class. Trying to navigate from reception to 3rd floor isn't straightforward but apart from that, all good!

Rooms great staff great bar specials great would definitely come back.

The staff in Mc Gettigans Hotel Letterkenny are the best I've ever come across… every one of them are lovely… we've just celebrated our Anniversary there… we got a glass of wine on arrival, there were chocolates in our room on arrival & we were given a glass of champagne after our evening meal… Thank you so much McGettigans Hotel. We'll definitely be back… soon. ☺

Was here with a hen party on sat night, hotel lovely and staff friendly plus great location! one thing wasn't impressed by was told our room was wheelchair accessible but couldn't get into bathroom with chair, I tried but no room to move and couldn't close door as pushed against toilet! This was my only problem but for me a big one!

Always friendly and welcoming. Hassle free and the Warehouse next door has great good quality food and service. It's my go to hotel whenever I head to Donegal. Always enjoy my stay there.

Just back from a 2 night stay. A great location for shops & bars.
Staff all very friendly, rooms lovely but the only view we had was a brick wall, also got very little sleep for the rattle and bangs of the heating or air con systems going on and off all night, not what you want to listen on a nice break away from home.
Would go back but make sure we weren't in a room with the same racket going on all night.
Ate in the restaurant and must say the food & staff were excellent.

McGettigans hotel is a very accomodative and comfortable hotel. They provide cosy rooms. There are many fast food restaurants, shopping centres, a library and a hospital in the area. There are many activities in the nearby community centre. It will keep the kids and adults happy and busy during their vacation. If one is coming to Letterkeny General hospital as employee, just 10 min walk to hospital and 5 min drive with ample car parking space. Few Asian halal food restaurant around so one can enjoy variety of food.
The staff provide pleasant experience. I am excessively satisfied with all hospitality from hotel staff and how they managed our requests at different occasions.

Just home after Spending the night here for our 10th wedding anniversary and I must say we couldn't have picked a better place. Such a warm welcoming smile from the young lady on the front desk who checked us in last night and made us feel right at home. All the staff from the bar to security and bouncers where extremely friendly and chatty. We didn't have to leave the hotel as the "warehouse" bar of the hotel was all the place we needed to go, with their wide selection of drinks and cocktails and fab live band was enough to keep us entertained. Would definitely visit again and recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a place to stay in letterkenny.

Stayed here at the weekend and had a fantastic time the food was amazing in the warehouse and would recommend the steak to everyone! Staff couldn't be any more helpful and nothing was an issue if you are staying would also recommend the yellow pepper down the road for food, it's only a 5 minute walk from the hotel.
