Unsurpassable food. Nothing disappoints. Steaks that melt in your mouth, abundant supplies of freshly baked scones and bread, decadent desserts. In the rooms you have old world decor but up to date bathrooms — which is exactly right. Friendly staff and owners who are present and helpful without being intrusive. We've stayed there many times and love it. Also a good starting point from which to tour the area.
