A lovely Hotel with wonderful staff. Highly recommended. 👏👏🎈

My partner and I stayed here for two nights on the 11th and 12th of July. We had a wonderful stay here last week for a few days absolutely beautiful hotel our room was fab spotless and very comfortable staff are amazing and food is Devine well done to you all we will definitely be back 😀

I stayed in here during covid times and the staff were amazing, hotel was spotless. The hand sanitizer stations always available, staff wore visors and smiles. Highly recommend, and am due to return soon. Keep up the good work and stay safe.

Highly recommend The Riverside Hotel for a comfortable friendly place to stay on your trip to Killarney. A special mention for Josh who went above and beyond his barman duties to ensure we had a very enjoyable night into the early hours and was fresh and ready the following morning with a big smile to ensure we were well fed with a full Irish for our day ahead. Very much appreciated ☺

No bottled water in the room. Good food and drink in the bar. Parking spaces in short supply.

Supposedly 4 star — not in the experience of ourselves and friends. Food ordinary so that after first night we ate in the fine choice of restaurants in town. Furniture in bedroom and restaurant very tired. Bedroom not vacuumed for the whole week of our stay — small items of debris to be seen the whole time. Spa not available to us. River view — must be limited, certainly not our room. Wouldn't recommend this hotel ' we have stayed in far better in Killarney but no room there unfortunately.

Lovely quiet hotel, great staff. Good breakfast. Very competitive rates for this time of year! May need to update their bar menu and as there are a lot of tourists staying, a few traditional Irish dishes would be nice. One other observation, no ventilation in our bathroom. From the steam of the shower, it is extremely hot and suffocating in there and may lead to an elderly or weak person, passing out in there! Over all a very enjoyable stay and hope to be back again soon!

Had a wonderful few days here to celebrate getting married! The staff could not have been more helpful and the facilities were great. The room was huge and very well kept. Will definitely be returning!

Stayed here for a weekend recently. Beautiful hotel and edge of Killarney. They had a free android phone for every guest that you could take out of the hotel in use for your stay. The staff were very very nice and I can’t recommend them highly enough. The hotel was clean and the food was very good breakfast in the morning was a highpoint.

Stayed here for 2 nights when Garry Barlow was playing in killarney. Surprise birthday gift for my better half.
1. First day shower didn't work, spoke with reception and the shower was fixed straight away. (Well done).
2. Went to the concert and came back to hotel bar at 23:15 for a couple of night caps. (Saturday night closing 00:30) APPARENTLY the bar had no lemonade or other similar minerals to use as mixers.
Bar staff extremely rude, "I don't have it, so what more should can I do" and then proceeded to pour both drinks down the sink.
Spoke with reception the next morning who apologised and said they would pass on my complaint and I would be contacted by management team in due course. (hotel was aware early in the day that they had no mixers in the bar)
I have sent 3 emails to the hotel regarding the same issue with no responses.
BE CAREFUL as it appears you can stay here at same rate as neighbouring hotels but with none of the service…
Shame really, not what you'd expect from a 4 star hotel. Or is it really!
Worst experience in kilarney to date.

Beautiful hotel, 10 minutes walk from downtown. Friendly staff, wonderful breakfast, and a good selection at the pub.

Our first night at the Riverside. The room was spacious, the carpet/chair pads seemed quite worn to dirty and the bed was definitely too narrow for 2 people.
Unfortunately, the service left more than something to be desired at breakfast. Either the staff were unmotivated or inattentive. Only this can be an explanation for the fact that coffee was only redonated on demand and that our breakfast order was only accepted at our request, after we were already present at the only half of the restaurant for almost half an hour. Unfortunately for us only worth 3 stars.

Great staff. Good Guinness. Nice food. Good hotel. Nice views across the river towards the mountains in certain rooms.

Good hotel and location close to Killarney Town and good base from which to visit the many nearby attractions.

Rooms were very clean and spacious. Guests also had access to food and bar inside the hotel. Service was very kind and helpful.

Decent hotel. Breakfast was nice. Rooms were old fashioned but in good condition.

Nice hotel just outside Kilarney. Bar with log burner was cosy was little disappointed that had to go down to reception to ask them to turn heating on as room was freezing as was there during the snow and was told that its electric heating and was 2 hours on and 2 hours off but after I complained it was turned on for the night. Clean hotel and breakfast was nice.

Nice hotel next to the Ring of Kerry. Delicious food also in the in-house bar.

We stayed for business, the location is great, rooms are lovey but what truly made this stay fantastic was the staff. They are all lovely and just couldn’t do enough to help us. Thank you for such a pleasant stay.

Friendly, clean, cosy and relaxing hotel. Only fault is there it's no pool/fitness center. Would recommend.

+ walking distance of downtown, comfy beds and pillows excellent staff, very clean and lovely. Would absolutely recommend it and stay there again — walls were a little thin, could hear the loud people next to us but easily drowned them out with the tv. Breakfast wasn't great.

Spent a total of three nights here. Had the same room on both occasions 212. Fabulous room. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Delicious breakfast and only 10 minutes walk from the town centre. Highly recommend it as a base for travelling around Kerry. Looking forward to returning again one day. Nice hotel. Room was nice enough. Kind of small. Breakfast wasn't great. I ordered vegetarian baked eggs. It came with two slices of salami in some weird dish with undercooked eggs. Couldn't eat it and I'm not a picky eater.

Not only were the rooms open, airy, and extremely clean, the staff's service was above and beyond. My husband left a shirt in the room when we left, and not even two hours after we had hit the road, I had received an email saying they had found the shirt and could forward it to wherever we were going. I received it as soon as I got home. The room was very comfortable, and we rarely heard anything from outside our room. The hotel was close to Killarney National Park and the Ring of Kerry, but it was not in the center of the city, so we did not have to deal with the overcrowding.

So central yet out from the centre of the town. Peaceful and quiet. Rooms bright and comfortable. Staff very pleasant and helpful.

Central to all tourists spots. Lots of lovely walks. Good restaurant and good service. Lovely views nearby.

The room is fab. Clean and bright. Large bed and good size bathroom. Tea and coffee available. Had meal in restaurant was very good. Staff really pleasant and engaging. Great deal for b and b plus main coarse in restaurant even though it's race week. ☺☺☺☺☺☺☺☺☺☺☺

I stayed in Riverside Hotel while on a business trip to Killarney I needed a hotel located close to the centre of the town that will not be overpriced. Riverside was a perfect choice. Friendly staff, comfortable room, free Wi-Fi and most importantly the food in their hotel restaurant was fantastic. I will be back.

We celebrated our 25th Wedding Anniversary here. We got a fab room, the staff were so nice, food was delicious. Anniversary card in our room when we arrived plus acknowledged again at our meal. All these little thing's mean a lot. Hotel is central to town, and lots of other attractions. We hope to come back again soon.

Friendly Irish Staff make this hotel. The location is excellent near the Killarney National Park and the whole hotel is kept immaculate. Especially loved the open fire in the entrance lobby.

Wonderful staff, very friendly and chatty. Doesn't deserve four stars. Not family friendly as there aren't enough facilities to cater for kids which suits us couples. Food and service is excellent and we'll always come back for that despite the niggles with the rooms, Rickey furniture, no sockets beside the beds for charging fones, a couple of fag burns on the carpet, priced too high. Did I mention the food, the staff, the service, the big airy foyer which is a pleasure to laze around in.

Enjoyed my stay. Easy walk to town and to the national park.

We stayed at the hotel on my birthday/our wedding anniversary the last week in September. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, the food was gorgeous and the finishing touch of ice cream dessert with 'Happy Birthday' piped on and candles was a lovely surprise. At only 2 km outside town it was pleasant to walk into Killarney, which we did each night after dinner. Unfortunately a couple of things let the hotel down. There was a cigarette burn in the duvet cover, a couple of tears in the net curtains, the grouting in the bathroom could have looked a little cleaner and we would have preferred to have overlooked something other than the back car park. We would however go back if only for the way we were looked after.
