We love Mount Juliet Estate and always consider it a privilege when we transfer guests from Cork Airport. We have always found the staff extremely kind and helpful towards Customers and our drivers. Such a special place in a beautiful part of Ireland.

Stayed in the Manor House and dined in Hunters Yard, it was just fabulous from beginning to end. Thank you to all the staff for their attention to detail and their help in making our stay a memorable occasion. If you are looking for the WOW factor then this is certainly it. Can't wait to go back.

Just celebrated my birthday at Mount Juliet with a friend and it was fantastic! The attention to detail was impeccable and they really made me feel special. All the staff were friendly and fantastic. Will definitely be back!

I was here for my surprise 40th! what a weekend! The golf, the michelin star food in this beautiful setting. I used to work here, to come back and experience it is just beautiful 🙌🏌⭐

What a wonderful place, it is everything you would expect from a luxury hotel, however what you don't expect or comprehend is the truly wonderful scenery and surroundings, lots of trails and walkways to clock up the steps on and if taking young children bring their bicycles. If you should take the river trail a word of warning waterproof runners or walking boots are need, when rejoining the roadway by the Ballyinch bridge remember the steps only begin mid way up the bank, the ground is slippy and the hand rail is a bit wobbly. It should be a must for Christmas, just for the magic of the season, but what some may not know the grave of St Nicholas is in nearby Knoctopher, the Concierge should be able to advise on tours. And while there why not take a trip to Waterford to visit the Winterval Festival, the men should love this town as there is very limited retail outlets, no Zara's, H&M, Berska or Stradavarius, just the ability to spend lots of time together. Though there's lots of excellent restaurants there and some very good pubs.

We celebrated our son's communion here today. The food was just unbelievably good. Beautiful combination of flavours. It was honestly the best meal in years. Our little son got the royal treatment by staff. Even got beautiful chocolate and berries surprise dessert treat. Highly recommend. We hope to be back again very soon and hopefully book our daughter's confirmation next March (hopefully with less numbers restrictions) … Thanks so much for a special day.

All the staff are nice. The place is amazing it’s really good place to relax.

Lovely two day break with my husband for my birthday. We had lovely long walks, played golf (course in great shape) and gorgeous meals in both the Hound and 7 course Easter in Lady Helen. All staff very efficient and nice in dealing with all residents with the COVID-19 changes.

Stayed only one night in the hotel. Lovely grounds, great views. Very friendly and helpful staff.
We had lunch in the club house, the menu was very poor. When I asked for salad there was no problem, but would have been nice to see it on the menu.
I'm not a fan of the breakfast buffet table in any place, because the food is not hot, (who knows how long the food is sitting in the dishes). When you staying in a 5 star hotel you would expect a little bit more.

Jacks bar is super scenic and very professional service and lovely food. Great views of the golf course. We stayed in the hotel Hunters yard for a night, nice pool and breakfast.

Leave your phone at home and just go relax and enjoy the fantastic surroundings here for a day. Maybe even engage chat with a complete stranger, have a drink or enjoy the great food, this place is a must visit.

Loved our visit. Hunter's lodge twin room was fab. Aircon and fridge were appreciated. Meal in Lady Helen was a treat.

Very attractive setting. Rooms good and staff very helpful and friendly. Good food recommend to book restaurant in advance. Clubhouse bar not open to the public on Saturday or Sunday. Would stay there again.

Great place one of the best hotels I've been. They have everything and it works wonderfully. The brealfust was stunning. The master suit was stunning.

Have a great break in this superb hotel. Staff, service and facilities all faultless. So much to see and do here was only sorry we couldn't extend our stay another night.

I would assume that paying €500+ over a nights stay would justify this. I will not be staying there again unfortunately.

Mount juliet estate & spa & gardens is situated in Thomastown Co. Kilkenny on both sides of river Nore. It's magnificent country house hotel stands on 500 acres. Mount juliet resort comprises Mount juliet house, the hunters yard club house, the rose garden lodges, Jack Nicklaus 5* golf course, equestrian centre. Absolutely beautiful is a much see especially in summer. Ideal for weekend away or a retreat break and weddings to remember.

Beds great, food and cocktails inventive. Unfortunately, Hunters Yard is a construction site at the moment, and the new rooms lack certain things, despite the espresso machine. I asked especially for a room that would not face the ground works, nevertheless I got exactly that despite having booked a better room, and although the hotel was very quiet, they refused to give me another room, saying the other rooms had not been cleaned (? ). From some floor windows you look onto a dirty backyard atmosphere, not nice at all. Staff ist friendly. Hunters Yard strives to be more than it is indeed.

It is a really nice place to chill out and relax a bit. Mount Juliet has a huge land and you can go for long walks along a river and between horse fields, it's just wonderful, especially in summer time.

Very nice estate, food and wine list was impressive. The rooms in the manor house were a great size. Staff are well trained and happy to help.

Wow. I just had a amazing time at Mount Juliet! By far that was one of the best stays I ever had in Ireland. The Estate itself is stunning. Service is first class with a smile. Wonderful, friendly knowledgeable. Great bar staff in the old smoking and Brandy room plenty of drinks too choose from. High tea in the parlours or variety of comfortable room is a must. Starts at 12.30. The restaurant was good the food was delicious. The only think I didn't like about the restaurant was the bathroom didn't have a hand dryer. Waste basket or hand towels! Swimming pool isn't great TBH. Sorry guys that's the only bad thing I would say. So much to do and see on the estate from golf to archery, falconary, horse riding… want to keep this short! Please pay a visit to this magnificent historical home. I still am missing it. Any events such as wedding's, romantic Getaways weekend with the girls the spa treatments would make you melt thinking about them. Golf get away with the lads every thing is covered. This is a fabulous location and the manor housd where we stayed is beautifully decorated. The afternoon tea was very good but it was surpassed by our evening meal. A shuttle brought us to the restaraunt overlooking the golf course where a fabulous meal was preceded by cocktails. A very pleasant stay was had.

Really nice place I took my dog for a walk there the surroundings were beautiful there was horses in the fields they were absolutely magnificent it is a massive grounds and a bridge with a historical value from the uprising in 1798 so good for all aspects of leisure swimming facilities as well as a very good golf course one of the nicest places I've been to in Kilkenny.

Excellent hotel. Silver service dining or less formal with the family in one of the other restaurants it's always fabulous. The hotel and location is beautiful and what the best of Ireland is. The golf course is excellent. You feel like a lord or lady while staying here.

Helped wedding planner on day of most extraordinary wedding Mount Juliet has ever hosted. The attention from staff was relentless. The rooms are outstanding and lodges are divine. The day was unforgettable.

Stunning grounds and wonderful service! The golf club is a fantastic community and have regular competitions for members. The estate has a wonderful Michelin star restaurant as well as a fully stocked bar with beautiful seating areas in leather seats and cosy fireplace sofas.

When in Kilkenny or surrounding area this place is a must to visit. I wasn't staying but popped in for a visit and lunch, wow the setting is amazing, the staff are all welcoming with a genuine interest but what comes across is the professionalism and such high standard which really is 5* in a four star Hotel. Lunch was delicious placed by a window overlooking the estate… this is old Victorian style charm with a modern twist, first class hospitality and the most relaxing peaceful setting for a lazy Sunday afternoon visit. Will def be back but to stay next time.

We had our wedding at Mount Juliet Estate on June 3rd 2017 and I can not praise the staff and venue highly enough. The Manor house is spectacular and the food is amazing, both myself and new wife had the best day of our lives there and we highly recommend Mount Juliet as the perfect dream wedding location that offers so much more than anywhere else. Go see it for yourself and you will be in awe.

Amazing historic hotel surpassed by its grounds. On a hill overlooking beautiful green pastures filled with horses with their colts. Oh and if that's not enough there's a lovely river between you and the pastures. Paths to walk or bike. Perhaps the plumbing is not ideal but unless it didn't have running water I couldn't give this place less than 5 stars. Breakfast and tea was wonderful.

The estate itself is gorgeous. Superb landscapes and seems to go on forever. Moving on to the hotel side. The rooms were nice and clean, but the shower wasn't working as it should have. It was pretty bad. The pool and sauna area was small and left a lot to be desired really. I've seen much nicer at less expensive hotels. Sauna was ok, but not great. No jacuzzi. Didn't try the steam room. Pool seemed decent size but still a on the small side. Reception desk is literally next to the pool, so that felt very weird. Gets credit for giving us robes and slippers in the room to wear directly to the pool. The Michelin star restaurant, Lady Helen, was ok, but not as expected. Food didn't taste amazing, except for the amuse bouche, and I have quite a large taste palette. All in all, we will definitely return for a lunch, or dinner, to this estate, but not in the Lady Helen.

The main house is lovely but the "Presidents bar" lodge is a bit soulless.

We only been here for the Santa experience which the kids enjoyed very much.

Love Mount Juliet. Terrific course that will offer a fair test for even the most accomplished golfers. Stunning setting with wide fairways and testing, fast greens. Club house is delightful while the food is excellent. Worth more than one visit and thoroughly deserving of a 5 star review. Will most definitely be back.

Tranquil luxury in an idilic setting. Great sauna and pool but the highlight is most definitely the Lady Helen restaurant. The beautifully presented food is of such an incredible quality with divine flavours. Can't complement all the staff enough on their friendliness and warmth.
