I just have to say Thankyou to the entire staff at the Grand Canal for a lovely stay on Saturday night and the delicious meal and then a hearty breakfast, the staff looked after us so well and the rooms were so comfortable and relaxing. Definitely be back again

The hotel is just fabulous, staff Rooms are stunning. Food was Top Dollar all. In all can only recommend it its Amazing.

First time me and my partner have stayed here which was this weekend, amazing service, food was amazing, staff very attentive, rooms were spotless, a very comfortable stay and an amazing experience second to none. Felt very luxurious will definitely stay again.

Six of us travelled from Belfast on a train/hotel/show package. Loved the hotel… staff friendly and helpful, rooms lovely (Orla Kiely toiletries). We had a really lovely meal in the restaurant and super breakfast. Hope to go back soon!

Hotel is a few minutes walk from the DART station, within a 20 minute walk of the 3Arena and the city centre. Hotel is immaculate and staff extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Loved the coffee shop inside. The room I got which was at the back of the hotel was so quiet which made for a relaxing stay. Only negative was that the bed was rather firm.

Stayed here with family for 1 night. We were in Dublin to attend the Board Gais Energy Theatre. We had a package that included tickets, dinner, B&B. We we all very impress with the location. Getting to it was very east considering how close it is to the centre of Dublin. Parking was free and more importantly it was safe and secure. The rooms were very nice. Ideal for a short stay. Food was good when we had dinner but the breakfast was excellent. Yeah it was a fairly simple buffet set up but it really puts other so called "better" hotels to shame. Staff were very polite and helpful. From bar staff, to reception staff to the night manager and breakfast manager everybody was very nice and easy to talk to. We were a little bit late when leaving our table for breakfast and were the last to leave. Before we left there were kitchen staff having a bit of breakfast in the dining room not too far away from us. Plenty of hotel's I've stayed in would not allow this but it was refreshing to see people who had been working had to provide us with breakfast sitting down and enjoying some themselves. It tells me that they are valued. Overall, we were all happy with the stay and will definitely be staying again.

I spent two nights at the hotel. The room was large and well furnished. The cafe in the lobby is so convenient and serves a great variety of food and beverages at all hours. The staff was friendly and helpful. A good all-around experience.

So far, so good! Some things take a bit of getting used to if, like me, you're from the States. Excellent service and impressive breakfast spread. The on-site brewpub is excellent. Definitely recommend!

Fine hotel overall pretty clean with some weird quirks, like hairdryer in desk drawer and not removable. You have to stand at the desk to dry your hair… this appears to be on purpose. Biggest issue is that they advertise air-conditioning and they do not have it in more than half of their rooms. Small fans are offered to cool you off on hot evenings…

Fantastically friendly staff. More than enough parking. Lovely breakfast. Great location. But most of all your staff make your hotel what it is. A lovely comfortable place to stay.

The pub at the hotel has an incredible selection of beers. Super!

We loved this hotel. We arrived exhausted in the late morning from a transatlantic flight and our luggage had not made it onto the plane. Dominika greeted us at the desk, saw that we were stressed and made sure she found an early check-in room for us right away. We're an older couple and she looked after us during our whole visit to Dublin in a most personable way. We found the hotel to be clean and in good shape. Our room was large and well-appointed. The bed was extremely comfortable. The bathroom had a large vanity with plenty of room for two people to spread out their things. The furniture was in good shape and there was plenty of storage space. The heating and cooling system was locally controlled and quite comfortable in spite of the heat wave Ireland was having. The breakfast room was large and airy, with very responsive staff. The hotel is situated right next to a beautiful canal with a walking path that leads into the heart of downtown near the museums. It is in a nice neighborhood that includes a corporate office for Google, gorgeous Dublin row houses, an adequate grocery/package goods store, and several good restaurants, including a traditional Irish pub in the same building. And there is a very nice snacks and light meal concession in the lobby. The lobby itself is large, airy and comfortable. We would definitely stay here again if we are in Dublin. An excellent choice at a reasonable price.

Location is primo for tourists! Standard sized American room, unlike other countries. Great full breakfast available for purchase every morning.

Nice and clean hotel. Windows leaked noices and cold air a little bit but streets doesn't have a lot of traffic. About 15-20min walk to city center. Good breakfasts and salads in Canal Express.

Pretty standard business hotel. I stayed in the "enhanced" room and it was clean and larger than your average hotel room. I had friends telling me that many of the "regular" rooms are terrible, but couldn't verify this. They had the all-too-common hot water problem in the morning, which is annoying. Also, for the price, they could offer free breakfast, which they don't.

Went to a wedding here on April 20th, even though they were under construction it didn't bother us at all. Nice friendly staff food was delicious.

Hotel located in a strategic position to reach by car and by public transport, excellent taxi service required at the reception. Staff very friendly and patient for our continuous requests, clean rooms and comfortable bed. The hotel has a ' the Gasworks ' pub with access from the reception, there are more than twenty plugs of beers and a good assortment of whisky great food. We were in Dublin to attend the St. Patrik's Day and nothing disappointed us.

Regular weekday staff were helpful and friendly. Hotel itself dated and needed repairs. Hallway to room dirty. Small room with too much furniture. Cant close bathroom door, sink has cracks… Opt to have breakfast included if you stay there. Big buffet which is worthwhile.

I went to the Grand Canal Hotel as part of a 3 day stay. The hotel is well located (10 minutes walk from the centre of Dublin, 5 minutes from the Aviva Stadium), the rooms are well appointed, furnished and very nice (a cosy bed is always a plus). Regarding the service it is perfect in the agreement that I did not have to deal with particular problems.

We stayed one night attending the three arena for a concert in Dublin! Definitely would recommend this hotel to have a great stay.

Clean hotel with direct access to the bar. The staff is very friendly and the room was clean.
Although the interior décor reminds us of past times, this is a perfect match for the hotel's charm.
The silicon docks are within a few minutes walking distance. The Aviva Stadium can also be reached on foot in a few minutes.

Clean and very centrally located hotel. The city is within easy walking distance, about 15 minutes. The rooms are very clean and well maintained. The breakfast advised a large selection and thus a good start to the day. Check-in and out was done very quickly and professionally.
We would recommend the hotel to anyone. Price-performance is given.

Good hotel that has been recently renovated. The rooms are large and quiet. It has a pub where you can obviously drink and eat. The food is good but lacks choice if you want to eat healthy: burgers, pasta etc. And it can be very noisy as in an Irish pub so not really a place to relax and drag a date ;-)

The hotel is very clean, the staff are very friendly. It's great that until 12:00 noon can be checked out. The room has huge, comfortable beds. In the room there is also "complementary" water, tea and coffee maker with Lavazza capsule coffee. In the hotel lobby there is a coffee bar with a range of smaller dishes and various drinks, as well as a pub with a through door connected. In approx. 20min you can easily walk to the centre of Dublin.

Small, nice hotel with good breakfast. Unfortunately, the breakfast was always set up quite late so early risers could not draw from the full range. The hotel is very well located.
Within a few metres there is a bus stop and several shopping facilities as well as restaurants. The city is also within walking distance, but should not be "lazy".
The rooms were tidy and clean. The room was equipped with two single beds, a bathroom with shower and toilet.
A kettle was available for use.

Nice Hotel, already a bit old. It wasn't quite clear to me how I could order anything in the Bar Area. The Gym is well equipped.

A nice business hotel not far from Google's office and the theatre area. The bar next door (the Gasworks) has great friendly staff and nice food. Very comfortable rooms and facilities.

This was our second time staying in the Grand Canal Hotel, as the first time we went to a concert in the 3 arena the staff are really helpful and friendly and the Gas works bar the food and service was excellent and a great collection of craft beers on sale will definitely be staying in the hotel again I thought everything was reasonably priced for Dublin we even got and upgrade to our room which was lovely and a nice surprise.

Stayed here for work. Room wasnt totally clean when I arrived (previous guest's trash still in bin… yikes) and the ambiance was a little drab. They also charged me for a power adapter which I guess is par for the course these days, but come on. Service was friendly though, and breakfast downstairs was great. The bar next door is also worth checking out. Overall I guess I'd stay here again because it's close to my office, but I won't exactly be writing home about it.

Nice bed and pillows, powerful shower, friendly staff. Room was a bit bland with not much personality (not that I care too much about that). Great breakfast buffet. Wi-Fi was strong but fairly slow. Iron in the room was good but barely any plug sockets. Coffee maker was good too. Overall would definitely stay here again.

Clean hotel if not a little old and warn. Gym was good but you did have to go and get a separate key from reception. I ordered room service and the food was good and didn't take too long. Overall it's a nice convenient hotel, nothing special but consistent.

Very comfortable and very well located. The rooms are spacious, and the beds very comfortable. The breakfast is excellent. You you can have a full irish breakfast, or have a continental breakfast with a good choice of bread and pastries.

Nice overnight stay in Dublin. A little ways off the main drag, but walkable to a lot of the better sites, including Temple Bar. Parking lot is a nice plus, but few spots so get there early if you want one. Room was nice; nothing to fancy but a comfortable sleep.

Very nice hotel in nice neighborhood. Short walk to a great restaurant, Juniors. Hotel has good deal on junior suites. Vastly better than standard rooms.

Just had a recent stay in this hotel. We have been numerous times before unfortunately this time due to Coldplay gig we were forced to pay extremely inflated price of nearly 300e for one night with no food or breakfast. I feel return guests should get better return prices, the prices all over the city are a disgrace but to pay what we did for just one night is not right. We got lovely food and lovely staff in the Gasworks bar. Ger and Dave should be rewarded for the hard work and excellent customer service, they where extremely good at there work and 100% customer service.

Excellent hotel with good corporate rates. The regular rates are a bit higher, so you may wish to check alternatives (there are nice hotels near Sandymount as well). Rooms are clean, the bed is excellent and the Internet is fast enough to do end game raiding (although you get kicked off a bit more on mobile). There's a good tea place in the lobby. The only issue I had was that even if you prepare the laundry it never gets done unless you take it to the reception.

This is a great hotel, really central, we stayed here for a concert in the Aviva, really close, walking distance. Very friendly and courteous staff, rooms are very nice and comfortable, had great nights sleep. The bar next to hotel was very busy, we were very lucky to get food and a drink but all the staff were very nice and attentive when it was chaotic in there, high praise for all the staff working there, I'd have to be sedated?! Would highly recommend this hotel to family and friends.

More homely and comfortable than most modern hotels but without compromising on facilities or amenities. Very comfortable leather armchair with footstool, kettle and capsule coffee machine all provided in the room, plus a good hairdryer under the desk in front of a mirror, so you don't have to stand at the sink! Shower cap, toiletries and body lotion all provided, as well as free mineral water, which makes a really nice change from the exorbitant prices normally charged for a small bottle of water in a mini-bar. Great selection of hot and cold food at breakfast for a reasonable price. Will definitely be my hotel of choice next time I'm in Dublin.

Nice and clean hotel. 5 minutes away from Google Ireland HQ.

Accommodating staff, they even let my wife and I check in 3 hours early because we were exhausted from out flight from New York. There is also a great little bar attached where they have a number of micro brews on tap.

It's a bit old but is well maintained and is quite comfy. The restaurant has a classic feel. Helpful staff. One problem: single beds are a bit short for tall ppl.

The hotel has nice classic rooms, a big parking and nice people at the front desk. I staid there 4 nights and each night was a huge sound coming from water pipes throughout the hotel. It woke me up making an infernal sound like someone hammering on the pipes. This is a really negative aspect for a hotel that used me to higher standards.

Only there to the restaurant and the coffee shop. Good plain food in the restaurant (burgers, fish and chips, steakhouse style stuff). But tasty. The coffee shop has good coffee, great sandwiches, fantastic service. Never stayed in the hotel so can't comment.

The hotel is very clean and very well kept bed is very spacious and have Wi-Fi, iron and hair dryer if you stay there is also nice to go and see the Grand canal.

Good hotel, a 3-4 star of Spain that inexplicably racanea with the heating centralized lighting it only some hours for the night.

Nice Hotel with modern room layout which I like, although would have preferred a walk in shower. Bed was huge and really comfortable. Wi-Fi (which is a modern day essential for me) was free and ok. Service and food in the bar were great. Its about a 20 minute walk from the town centre, which was fine for us, but might be too far for some.

Love this hotel. Great location, staff good, only downfall is the parking. The car park in the hotel gets full quite fast but there is lots of parking on the street. Great food.

A quiet good hotel with a exquisite breakfast and the best beds I ever lying in.

The Good: Rooms were clean and quiet. Service was good. The Bad: The beds and pillows were somewhat uncomfortable. Wi-Fi was very unreliable.
