Nice and cozy place to stay. Friendly staff and delicious Irish breakfast.

Small, compact but well kept room. Only problem with it was the shower with a tray with no texture, so I almost slipped. Irish breakfast was nice. Friendly staff. Very central so good value for money.

Nice a cozy Hotel. The room is not that big, but it is comfortable. Very good location, most important places are at walking distance. The price is good, even it may somehow seem pricey if you are not used with the prices in Dublin. For this class and this location, it may be the best deal you can get.

People who worked here are absolutely lovely. Our room was cold and the rattling lazy lift is very noisy. Sounds like builders are in your room, well it did in mine. Cheap for location. Staff super helpful.

Stayed here from 21st to 24th January 2018 short break in Dublin for husband's birthday. Lovely hotel with a warm friendly welcome. Arrived early before room ready but we're more than happy to securely store luggage for us and was waiting in room when we got back. Hotel is literally minutes walk from Upper O'Connell street within walking distance of most attractions including Temple Bar, Jameson distillery, EPIC and GPO but away from any noise. Was initially disappointed that there was no tea and coffee making facilities in room but when we asked at 24 hour reception was no trouble making for us. Room lovely including ensure and breakfast thank you would highly recommend.

Great price, Great breakfast, Clean rooms. This is not the Hilton but what they do, they do it well.

Great place, bar and breakfast — family run, must for GAA fans on match day. No lunch here, however make a plate of sandwiches and a pot of tea after a game.

Everything was great, very close to the center, very rich breakfasts, very personalized and friendly attention. To repeat for sure!

Facilities are nothing to write home about but it's quant and cosy, not badly located for most everything around Dublin.

Wonderful place for a night stay! Nancy gave great suggestions to where to go and what to eat. The stay was great and so was the Irish breakfast.

Myself and my partner stayed here from the 5th to the 8th of June. Upon arrival the staff were very friendly and helpful. We were in room 7 which is a front facing room on the 4th floor. No elevator so it was a good workout getting up the stairs lol. The room was spotless and the bathroom was outstanding (the only thing we missed was the tea and coffee in the room, it was no problem to the staff to provide it in the reception and we brought it to our room) the breakfast was gorgeous, super fresh! We would definitely stay here again.

It was a good location.

The hotel is really nice, neat and tidy. The personal is very friendly. The bathroom is very clean, in our room was it also very large, in other rooms a little smaller, but quite enough to feel comfortable in it. The room service is also top. Breakfast is very good, can be ordered with individual wishes. Price is also okay, would go there again!

Honest, clean and very polite staff. Open 24 hours a day. The beds were comfortable. Plentiful and tasty breakfast, not self service but they bring everything that they ask). Rooms are small, sinks in anglo-saxon (hot and cold water separate room and not in the bathroom.

Good Place to stay in Dublin.

Me and my girlfriend had a lovely week in this B & B. The staff was friendly and willing to illustrate what to visit the city. Breakfast is plentiful and delicious.

Location is okay, clean and tidy with friendly staff. No Wi-Fi in room and could have done with tea/coffee making facilities in the room and a lift to get up to the attic floor. Oh and like everywhere in Dublin they've doubled their prices when there's an event on at Croke Park, whether you're going to it or not.

Myself and my girlfriend were very happy with the service and quality of this hotel, which was better than we expected for such a budget price. Location is excellent, a stones throw from O'Connell Street. Breakfast was a menu selection, and is served until 9:45am. Hotel is in good condition and there was always a friendly face at the reception to give advice. Thanks guys for a great place to stay.

This hotel was amazing and so much more than I expected, considering I booked at a hostel website and was expecting a hostel vs a hotel. At ~25 euro/night, the quality is more than excellent. Yes, the room was a bit small, but this isn't the Waldorf. The staff are EXTREMELY nice and pleasant. There is a bar in the back and you can have a nice pint of Guinness. There is only Wi-Fi available in the lobby, but this is how most hotels in Europe are. The location was excellent, w/in walking distance to O'Connell St. And bus stops. The free breakfast in the morning is also great. Overall, I found the Dergvale to be very cozy and quaint, and would absolutely stay there again if I visit Dublin again.

While its clean, this place is very small (at least it is for this American! ). The shower is 3'x3' at most. TV is a 13" mounted on the wall. There doesn't appear to be any Wi-Fi (although an Internet cafe down the street is avail, they charge 1€ for 15 min). Staff are friendly and helpful. I'm hoping the lounge proves worthwhile. If you're looking for suggestions, try a place further outside of town; you'll get much more for your $89 a night and bus fare is only €2.30 one way.
