Brilliant hotel,, great staff,, we had a fantastic stay.

Had our wedding here on the 20th and could not of asked for a better venue, the staff are amazing so attentive and lovely, Leone the wedding coordinator is amazing and special thank you to Martin for helping us with every little request. Thank you guys for an amazing day and night.

Amazing hotel, fantastic location, brilliant facilities and staff so helpful and friendly. I would definitely recommend this hotel. Can’t wait to go back.

We had a very relaxing stay for my birthday, when we arrived the decor was nice fresh& modern. Spacious lobby, the Concierge was very nice & helpful also. Staff at reception were most helpful and pleasant. The food was excellent. Room was spacious. I got the hamper basket delivered too our room. Was pleasantly surprised. With proscesso, popcorn & nachos, sweets, l. I loved it, lovely spa & pool but I never got chance too use it this time. As I had day trips planned. But definitely next time will go especially for the spa weekend. Would definitely recommend this hotel too friends, family. It's a quiet area and not far from Dublin city centre, 20 minute drive. Hassle free. Can't fault it really. And I've seen many hotels around the country. And it's best so far for me & my friend. I will definitely give this hotel 5 stars.

The best dinner experience ever, the staff are amazing especially lovely Paola. We were served with love and happiness The food was lovely and the atmosphere was amazing. We brought a birthday cake to surprise our friend and the staff was kind enough to bring the cake and sing to us and make us feel like home. We will definitely come back over and over. Thank you Castlenock hotel.

Some staff lovely and friendly but one barman in particular extremely rude to customers, ignoring them and snapping at them when ordering drinks.

Just home from a fabulous night away in Castleknock Hotel. Brilliant staff and service, really excellent food both at dinner and breakfast this morning. Everything is laid out very well so that all Covid protocols are in place. After our horrendous stay in a supposedly 5 Star Resort Hotel during the summer, this was a wonderful experience.

Stayed last night. Fantastic set up felt really safe and well looked after but not rushed or hassled. Will definitely be back. Beautiful hotel. We had a lovely young girl look after us in the restaurant (Albha) she couldn't do enough to help us!.

Just home from a nights stay in Castleknock hotel. From start to finish our stay was fantastic. We had dinner and drinks when we arrived and finished off with spa treatments. I was lucky enough to have the lovely Lauren looking after me. My facial was the best yet. We will definitely return for more treatments. Many thanks for our lovely staycation.

My wife and I have just returned from one of the most relaxed hotel breaks we have ever had at this marvellous hotel. From the moment we checked in we were treated to a loads of fantastic and thoughtful extras, compliments of the hotel. From an extra 3 course meal on our 2nd night to an additional bottle of bubbly and slice of carrot cake in our room on arrival (we were only supposed to get one of each) we were made to feel like valued guests right from the off. A special mention has to go to Alvin, the restaurant manager, who made our Afternoon tea experience second-to-none, as was our dining experience in the evening. Alvin, a great many thanks to you and to your staff for an unforgettable experience.
In spite of the significant challenges presented to the hospitality industry in general during the Age of Coronavirus, the Castleknock Hotel truly went out of their way to make us feel both safe and relaxed, which is a difficult balance to strike.
I would fully recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing, family-friendly break — top marks!

Lovely hotel for family break … we enjoyed swimming pool with 37 degrees temp. Inside with warm water. Friendly staff and good food. Highly recommend this place. This is our first but not last visit.

Fab hotel perfect for families and followed COVID regulations very well. I was so worried about going away and didn’t need to. I felt at ease the whole time. Nothing was a bother for any staff member.

Just had the most incredible roast sirloin of beef and apple crumble from the hotels new takeaway menu. The quality of the food was excellent and we received exceptional service. Thank you so much. We will be ordering again next week.

The restaurant in the hotel is by far the best thing about it. The food is absolutely beautiful in there and the staff were so attentive. I had high expectations for the spa but sadly it was the complete opposite. No relaxing atmosphere, there was a staff member giving out infront of us about a client being late as we were sitting in the reception area which I thought was highly unprofessional. We had nowhere within the spa to get changed, you have to leave the spa, walk passed the gym and go into the communal swimming pool changing rooms to get changed. When we arrived we were sent into the relaxation room fully clothed with our overnight bags to wait to be called to our treatments, there were at least 5 people lying on beds in robes after having treatments, it was so uncomfortable and awkward. The treatment rooms werent great either and the lights were so bright. The spa doesn’t connect to the pool area and when we got out to the pool it’s a shared (small) pool for families and children doing swimming lessons, which is fine but for my experience in other spas they have had pool areas/ jacuzzi etc just for people who are using the spa. I expected the spa and swimming pool area to be of a much higher standard and it really isn’t. It’s just not that overall relaxing spa experience you would hope for and it was really disappointing for the money we spent and the standard you would expect being in the Castleknock hotel.

A wonderful wedding reception yesterday. The staff were superb and friendly. I thought the Waitresses/Waiters were brilliant. I highly recommend them.

5* service from all staff from managers to bar staff. Excellent hotel, clean and well maintained. Highly recommend.

Just back from a 3 night stay in castleknock well what can I say if I could give 10 stars I would. We had an absolute ball staff our soo friendly and helpful nothing Is a problem to them they go above and beyond. We will defo be back :)

Great staff and delicious food.

Just spent our third time as our may family get together @ Castleknock. Did the tayto park this year also. Kiddies had a great time and loved the pool. Wonderful staff and hotel, will be back soon with all our clan again soon.

I had a wonderful day at the hotel spa, courteous and friendly staff. Relaxing room was beautiful, soothing music and comfortable beds and with lovely fruit etc.
My daughter accompanied me and she also has high praise for our experience in the spa and is already planning our next visit.
My therapist Victoria was amazing and she performed a lovely facial, hot stone back massage and pedicure. As a tutor/therapist myself I am so impressed by the high standard of the staff / therapists and I will be recommending this spa to all my colleagues and friends. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Stayed here last week and the staff were very professional and were very friendly and helpful in the leisure centre, even though we waited an extra hour to check in staff were apologetic and offered us a complimentary free drink which we didn't need, the food was also lovely and gorgeous rooms and surroundings thank you. Although the noise outside the building was quiet loud so next time well ask to be located at the other end thank you xx.

Hotel and grounds were beautiful! The family suite was clean and spacious. Breakfast was brilliant so much to choose and staff at breakfast were so pleasant and helpful. (especially the tall blonde girl, sorry I didn't get her name, she deserved a medal having to deal with some highly strung people)
Bar staff and restaurant staff however were rude and unhelpful, it seemed anything we wanted to ask for was an inconvenience to them. The menu wasnt great either so the whole experience was a let down!
The family sweet had a bath with a spa/jets, when we asked how to work it we were told it's only for show, however I don't believe that as when the water filled the bath the control panel lit up, it probably needed authorised or something.
Our kettle was rotten, we asked for a new one and thankfully got one not long after asking.
When asking your reception staff anything it was also just an inconvenience to them.
The pool was lovely and staff were lovely too!
Overall we still had a great trip just a little let down by staff and menu.

Wonderful golf coarse, nice hotel rooms, and good food at the restaurant. We had a very relaxing experience and I would go back in a heartbeat if I had the chance.

What a view! Hard to believe a few short miles from Dublin city centre. Sit on the large terrace overlooking the pristine greens, glass of wine, or coffee and take in the expansive view of the Dublin mountains. Great place for meeting friends over a favourite tipple even if you don't play golf.

Lovely scenery, looking onto the greens. There is decent food though a little pricey but that's to be expected. The feeling is somewhat pretentious unfortunately but perhaps that's also to be expected. I should clarify I was there for food and separately for a birthday bash. The room booked for the birthday didn't have any speakers for music, or if they did we were told they weren't working. Being blunt, this only gets 4 stars because of the nice scenery.

Food beautiful, lovely location. However service was slow, forgetting to bring items from order. Only two staff on a busy Friday.

Superb greens and brilliant fairways. Very fair course in great condition with some great holes. Will definitely be back again.

Long course off the whites. Quick and undulating greens. Long rough. A great challenge. Course in immaculate condition.

Dinner at the restaurant with views of the golf course. Excellent the fillet steak cooked on soapstone and service of good quality.

Beautiful looking hotel. Lovely foyer. Disappointing service good wise. Took a full hour for soup and sandwich. I'm sure it wasn't the young waiters fault.

Very nice hotel. Very very clean lovely food and we'll located out Dublin city… didn't stay was at conference but will deffentily come back to stay. Well run operation.

Went for the steak on a stone and wasn't disappointed. Unlike many other places, this one had the stones up to the right temperature. Generous helpings.

Ill be back! Already planning my next visit! Thought I was going to a rural country club for a quiet night! To my delight I rocked up to the las vegas of the Dublin countryside! Great food and staff tho under pressure with the volume of people! Did really well But I love that! Kids loved it as they had loads to explore pool gardens playground! They loved it ordered breakfast to the room which didnt arrive even with this I still give 5 stars as a place this size will have some operational gliches! And bfast whwn did arrive late was superb.

Lovely hotel but on morning of checkout the door was been banged down from 9 a m. Check out was 12 so there was no need for it after been out till late.

Such a nice place for celebrating any occasion. The view from the windows amazing, staff are very friendly and customer focused. Tasted the steak on stone — something unbelievable. Would definitely come back again.

We booked New Year’s Day, we where told the check in was at 4 we asked if we could book in early but told no. Arrived there at 3:45 and only got our room at 5:20. Then the kids got changed to use the pool (the only reason we went there) Got down at 5:40 and was the told that kids can’t stay in the pool after 6? So asked for the manager who done nothing for us, so asked for our money back because there was no point in staying, under staffed only 2 people cleaning rooms, had we got our room at 4 late and all as it was there would have been no problem, we had a voucher that they didn’t want to refund, only got back to us today about it and will still take 2/3 days. Brutal costumer service. FBD own it, I got my renewal for €1, 300 and got it if another company for €420 so not great for insurance either, Shop around I for one will never do business with them again.

I had Christmas party there and must say the place was loaded up to the brim. Good food, however response from waiters could be better. VERY loud, couldn't hear another person without shouting. There was a music band, sadly mediocre at best. Overall good experience.

Very impressed with the service and course management. My brother and I played Golf there on 18/12/2017. Ryan the professional in the clubhouse could not have been any more helpful. He set us up with two great sets of Titleist clubs and a buggy. Very courteous. It really set us up to enjoy the day. Course played excellent from tee to green. Hope to get back again soon. Also now seriously thinking about investing in a set of AP2s!

We had a family celebration here and it was lovely. The food we very good, the service lovely and they were very child friendly.

We had our wedding in august in castlenock hotel from the first time I seen it I was in love, the staff are some of the nicest people we have ever met from start to finish everything was perfect I didnt have to worry about anything, Lorraine our wedding cordinator is incredible such a lovely girl and can never do enough. I'd recommend anyone to have your wedding here we had a amazing day with fabulous food and drink. And the staff are so brilliant from reception staff as u come in to the people serving your food in the night couldn't do enough 100% recommend.

A great place to go no matter the occasion. Even if there is a wedding on, the bar and restaurant are still quiet. Staff are lovely, food is good and prices very reasonable.

The golf is very nice, especially for the last 9 holes…

Lovely hotel, stayed here a while back. Rooms are nice and the one we had was overlooking get the golf course.

The room was clean, spacious and decorated lovely! The food was gorgeous, staff were nice and the cocktails were fantastic!

Good cocktail selection if you can afford the wait. Staff generally polite but a bit slow. Last time we were there the bar had run out of straws. The food was mediocre in the bar, and very good in the restaurant.

Was there Sunday with my wife at 3pm. The food we got was cold roast potatoes like a brick inedible had to give it back.

Meant to put this up a few months ago — Stayed there for conference in October — Rooms were really decent and cleanliness standard was top class — Food in the restaurant was surprisingly good and not overly expensive — I'm not a hotel fan for the food but have to say the Castleknock Hotel was really good. Would stay again — but only problem is it's a bit far out of town.

We have used this hotel on many occasions, most notably our wedding recently. The hotel is amazing in every way. From the moment you walk in the door you have feel the positive vibes. All staff are perfect.

Facilities are excellent and roomy. I particularly like the modern feel to the building. While dinner service was slow the food was absolutely beautiful. Wireless internet was excellent also (PW required from reception) A bit of tricky spot to get to but once there all is well. Finally its an FBD hotel and they make sure as hell that you know that. The FBD logo is printed literally on everything which annoyed me a little. I used the pool, sauna and jacuzzi and all were excellent.

Daily pass to the swimming pools and jacuzzi is reasonable (15€). The restaurant is really good.
