Hada lovely stay last night in hotel the rooms were so nice clean and warm food was beautiful the hotel is so relaxed I really enjoyed it the lady in reception was very helpful and friendly will be staying again.

We had our Wedding here in May and could recommend the friendly staff and beautiful hotel too anyone! we had an amazing day! Thanks again to Laura, Nicola, Barbara and all the staff for being absolute superheros for all the advice and enthusiasm they shared while wedding planning, the tireless work behind-the-scenes to set up and help us throughout the day itself, and the kind staff who looked after us and our guests all day (and of course the morning after). I cannot overstate how above and beyond the Wedding team went to make our day perfect and we will always be grateful! And of course… May the Fourth be with you! :P.

The hotel looks very good from the outside, lots of greenery and tidy parking, but our room was gloomy, there was no bathtub in the bathroom and hand soap was broken, no — body cream, no bathrobe or slippers for the pool. There was no bar, at least for a bottle of water in the room. The heating is turned on in the evening when people are sleeping and suffocating, and at other times it is cold. The pool and Jacuzzi smelled of disinfectants. There is given 1 towel per person. Showers are under criticism. The food in the restaurant — what we ordered was beef burger and fish for the day, both were not good as the fish had more breading than meat. The internet was a very bad signal — only in the reception area it was good — nowhere else. Breakfast was not up to par either. During this stay I liked the barman's cocktails and the lobby, which is very soothing with the pleasant tones of blue. Also air and nature. I have been visiting friends in Monaghan for many years, but I have never been to this hotel. We will return to the city, but in this hotel — hardly.

My husband and I stayed for 1 night at this wonderful hotel and are sorry we didn't book a longer stay. Throughly enjoyed our visit. Room was big, spacious, clean, warm and very welcoming. Bed was big, comfy and slept well on it. Bathroom had a lovely walk in shower and again was clean and spacious. We had dinner that night which was delicious, my husband having fish and chips and I had Thai green curry. Breakfast the following morning had excellent flavours. Meals were well tasty and great value. Staff were very welcoming, friendly and courteous at all times. I highly recommend The Four Seasons Hotel.

Very helpful staff in relation to covid requirements, good breakfast great pool, got a proper swim, best gym we have seen in a hotel but didn’t get time to use it, will definitely be back for this reason, all the staff we encountered were really pleasant.

We had a fantastic Sparkling Afternoon Tea for my friends hen do recently. The food was beautiful and plentiful, the staff were so friendly and attentive and Laura was fantastic to liaise with during the booking. Would highly recommend and the cocktails were fab also!

We had the most beautiful evening in Four Seasons Hotel Monaghan out on the new terrace. It is just beautiful and so worth a visit. Everything is lovely from the food, the wine, the service and the staff. Lots of options on the menu to choose from. The best of all though is the amazing job you have done with the terrace. Well worth a visit and thank you for such a lovely evening. Looking forward to getting back.

We got married here in november 2002 and I can say it was first class service from we went to book till the whole wedding day ended we even enjoyed the day after in the hotel we went back for or 10th anniversary and I can the standards were still first class. Michelle patton.

Nicola, Barbara and the team were fantastic in moving our date and accommodating us so quickly, despite covid-19. We cut our numbers from high to a more family and intimate wedding. We had an amazing day and everything flowed so smoothly with the help of the four seasons team. The food was amazing, nothing was an issue with them. We highly recommend the four seasons hotel and thank them for contributing to our amazing day.

We had our Wedding in the Four Seasons Monaghan and it was perfect. Lovely staff, extremely helpful, great food, great service, lovely honeymoon suite.

Spent a few hours and quite a bit of money here today. Staff were extremely rude and abrupt. No smile or welcoming demeanour. Granted we are in the midst of a pandemic but you would think after being closed for several weeks they would be grateful for the business. Weren't allowed to sit in the voya area for quiet drink. Don't reccomend.

With the ongoing Covid restrictions we had to reschedule my sisters hen weekend not once but twice and I really have to commend the staff in your hotel they were so helpful and a pleasure to deal with. Hope to get there for a lovely stay soon.

We had our wedding reception in the four seasons during the terrible time of uncertainty due to covid-19. There is no other word to describe the staff other than amazing! The food was delicious and the rooms lovely and comfy! None of our guests had a bad word to say about the four seasons, I would definitely recommend to everyone!

We had a fantastic 3 night stay for my sisters wedding… Lovely food, friendly helpful staff, spacious family room.

Excellent hotel, staff were extremely helpful. I have Coeliac disease and staff were super helpful. I got a breakfast cooked separate to everyone else each morning and dinner was fab! All social distancing rules are being followed while still making our stay very enjoyable. I would highly recommend this hotel for families or couples. Thank you to all staff, I look forward to staying at Four Seasons in future, take care x.

Relaxing atmosphere and friendly staff.

My daughter had her wedding reception here and I can honestly say the hotel was brilliant, the food and the staff are excellent and the bridal room has all the ambience you would need. This hotel made my daughters reception complete and I can’t recommend the hotel enough, the bedrooms are very comfortable and the place is spotlessly clean and the staff are all so helpful and friendly. My congratulations to the management and staff for making this special day so special, if your looking for a hotel to share an occasion the four seasons Monaghan is the ideal venue. I take my hat of to this hotel.

We recently got married on Friday past & would like to say a massive thank you to all the staff in the four seasons for making our wedding day so special. The staff and management were fantastic, they couldn't have done any more for us, nothing was any trouble. Laura, Nicola, Orla, Annmarie and Barbara went above and beyond on the run up to the day and on the big day to over see all. The Seasons Suite along with the Limewood Suite is a beautiful setting for any wedding. Everything about the day itself ran perfectly. Our guests were talking about the food and service, it was fantastic. We would highly recommend the four seasons to all couples looking for a wedding venue. It was First class!

We had our wedding here a few weeks ago and it was absolutely perfect. The staff are there for you from the minute you book to the minute you arrive at the venue. We enjoyed a welcome cup of coffee and delicious dessert in the Four Seasons hotel. They have a large bright spacious lobby with lovely couches & armchairs. Service was quick and waitress was friendly.

We had our wedding at the four seasons last Friday the 2nd of August and wow what a wedding! We could not have been happier, the food was beautiful and the staff were so helpful in the run up especially Nicola who was just brilliant at dealing with our queries. Barbara was brilliant on the day and very helpful. All our guests commented on the food and how lovely the seasons suite was. Wish we could do it all over again and we are so happy we choose this hotel. If anyone is getting married here — yous are in great hands, don’t panic.

We had our son Shaun and wife Laura’s wedding on Fri 21st June 2019 in This fantastic Venue, The management and staff couldn’t do enough for us from the day of booking until the wedding and even before leaving the venue, very friendly nothing was a problem no matter what we needed they were there to help, food was fantastic rooms were exceptional everything spotless everything was of the highest standard would definetly recommend The Four Seaons Monaghan for a visit, overnight stay, leisure facility or even just for a bite to eat you won’t be disappointed. Five Stars.

We had our wedding reception in the four seasons on the 22.03.2019 and everything was perfect, all the guests commented on the service and the food, we had 250 guests and the hotel made sure everything went smoothly from start to finish. We couldn't recommend enough. Special thanks to Laura, Barbara and Ann Marie who were all so attentive.

Great hotel and in a perfect location. we actually stayed there to do parkrun tourism. the only reason I wouldn't give it 5 stars is because it is beside a night club that attracts teens and was concerned about damage to my car that was parked outside. other than that the hotel was super friendly and facilitating.

Used this hotel for a training event. Facilities were good although on one day there was a breastfeeding group meeting and as a result a lot of kids running around which was quite distracting and should've been better managed. I had lunch in the bar and the food was good but 9 euro for a club sandwich is beyond reasonable.

Room could do with being updated. No hot tub as stated. Jacuzi unhygenic. No entertainment/music. Wouldnt return. Food about only plus for hotel.

I recently stayed here with my partner. We were given a room that was in a secluded area of the hotel. A storage heater was plugged into the wall to heat the room. The furniture was very dated and the bed itself had springs piercing through the matress. We had previously booked a double bed but the room itself had a double bed and a single limiting the amount of space. When we rang reception about these problems they quickly moved us to a totally different room closer to the main body of the hotel. This room was perfect. The comparison between the two rooms is indescribable with the first room definatly not being of a 4 star standard. It truly was a highly unusual phenomenon.

Thank you to all the team for making our wedding day last saturday so special. We had an amazing day and had great feedback from all our guests who loved the day. The personal touch made a huge difference to us and despite having a small day ceremony weren't asked to fall into the 'minimum numbers' that so many other places seem to operate. We had our wedding here in May and we couldn't have asked for better. Originally we dealt with Orla, who was so down to earth and more than happy to answer any of our 'silly questions'. The newly refurbished Seasons Suite along with the Limewood Suite won us over. The pre-reception room was beautiful and helped to keep all our guests together on the day. In the run up to the wedding various emails were sent to Laura — who always responded efficiently and also Nicola — who helped us with our table plan. On the day we were greeted by Barbara — such a lovely and friendly welcome! Everything about the day itself ran so smoothly and was exactly as we had asked. There were so many compliments about the service and the food. We honestly couldn't have asked for better! Thank you to everyone!

Lovely decor and comfort in the four seasons esp for a stop of for anyone travelling on the Dublin route. Staff are helpful and food is tasty, good size portions, quick service and prices are very reasonable. Lots of parking. Is worth the stop over for dinner/lunch.

Situated at the northern end of town beside the roundabout for either Donegal, Armagh or Dublin it's a prime location for a travellers rest or a longer stay to enjoy the scenic beauty the county has to offer. The hotel itself has ample parking and the gentle slope leading to the four seasons grants a great view of the rolling hills behind. The staff are both approachable and professional and the food both in the bar and function room are well above standard. This is my third visit to the hotel and will not be my last.

Had a wee night away here for Easter treat. Great food and nice atmosphere. Pool and Spa facilities were a nice way to relax. We will definitely be back.

A comfort hotel had my wedding here yonks ago. Its a wedding hotel family friendly. The comfy chair you curl up on a Sunday. Now let's have a doze. Safe and secure.

We had our wedding in this hotel on 24.02.2018. From our very first tour around the hotel to the day we checked out after the wedding we were treated like royalty. All queries we had in the run up to the big day were answered in a professional, prompt & comprehensive manner. The day itself ran so smoothly & exactly to the timings we had agreed upon. We have had nothing but compliments from our guests on how much they enjoyed the day. Highly recommend to all future couples looking to get married in Monaghan. You will not be disappointed. Lovely hotel just on the outskirts of Monaghan town. A regular stop-off for us. Parking very handy. Has a good gym with regular classes. We've never been the restaurant here, only had the bar food. Bar food is excellent. Good carvery. Great place to stop off for a coffee or a bowl of soup. Staff are friendly. Hotel is attractively decorated, and has had a bit of an overhaul in the last year or two. Bathrooms beautifully decorated.

Visited for lunch and the food was delicious. I had Fish, mashed potatoes with salad along with chocolate cake dessert. The staff was nice and the ambiance was lovely. It has leisure centre as well. Definitely one of the best hotels in town.

Comfortable hotel located on the outskirts of Monaghan about 10 minutes walk from the Village. Ample unattended parking, helpful and courteous staff, good food with the possibility to eat both in the English pub and in the restaurant Room. International Style breakfast served in the restaurant ROOM. Swimming pool with good size for swimming and availability to use the changing rooms, sauna and Showers. Room with large bed and hard mattress, clean bathroom, free Wi-Fi. Carpeting on the floors in accordance with the English Style.

The Four Seasons Hotel Monaghan an excellent place for weekend getaways. Great food and friendly staff. A good venue for private functions weddings are a speciality and are hosted in a stand alone function room exclusively reserved for the bride n groom Plus there's an excellent pre-drinks reception area. Good service. Good food and great attention to detail, makes this an outstanding Hotel with ample car parking and mature picturess grounds.

Just come back from a holiday in this hotel and found it to be excellent. I would and will recommend it to to anyone. an ideal base for exploring large parts of Ireland.

Organised a hen party for the Four Seasons, would definitely recommend to others! Food was beautiful, one triple room which had sofas so great for everybody getting together before dinner, staff were brilliant, especially Geraldine and Sam, I have no doubt they had a lot to listen to but smiled the whole time.

We celebrated our wedding here on 4th August 2017. Our ceremony was in the Blackwater Suite, drinks reception in the Limewood Suite and our reception was in the Seasons Suite. The attention to detail in our ceremony was top class and the food for the reception was excellent. The day ran very smoothly and many said it was the best wedding they had ever been to! The rooms are great on top of this. Many thanks in particular to AnnMarie, Orla, Michelle, Barbara for running the day and Laura for answering my millions of emails. If we were to do it all again, we wouldn't change a thing. Thank you for everything.

Just stayed in July at this hotel, beautiful setting, the staff are a credit, friendly , and helpful would recommend for a perfect break. Special thanks to Julie on reception for her kindness when my husband was not well.

Meal good value 3 course 30 euro and 5 euro off for being a guest. Checked out the next day and used pool, sauna, Jacuzzi and steam room. Staff very polite will be back.

Stopped for lunch & tea in here loads of times. Have never stayed and have not been in the nightclub for 20 odd years (thankfully! ) :-) The service is great, food is good and great value… can be busy — but can always find a seat. A good spot for stopping off for some food — any day/time.

Ample parking space. Nice reception and welcoming people. Little misunderstanding with the type of room we have booked was sorted in no time. Executive room is well finished and has different colour scheme to let's say triple standard room. Bathroom clean. Swimming pool is not cold and they have sauna, steam room and jacuzzi available together with actual cold water bucket hanging on the wall to cool you down after sauna. That's a nice touch. Steaks we ordered (sirloin) weren't great, very chewy (medium prep) which was advised to staff when asked if everything is OK. We ate in bar area as we were watching the match on TV. It wasn't very busy but few items were forgotten, plates weren't removed on timely manner. Not sure if it's because it's 3star hotel or because staff was running from restaurant beside to bar and back. Desert was OK. We had to go and pay for our dinner after waiting for quite some time. Maybe it's because feedback re steak? Who knows.

Easy to find, only 15 minute walk into town (advisable unless you want to pay to park in town). Rooms are well equipped and modern. Beds are very big and comfortable — it was hard to leave it at the end of the stay! Staff are friendly and helpful.

Stopped off here on our way to slieve russell golf and country club for some lunch it was beautiful and staff were nice and friendly. Thanks for the pleasant visit.

Excellent!. The rooms were luxurious, spacious, comfortable, and clean. Bathroom well planned, beautifully tiled and clean. The decor was simply elegant and showed thought was given to the customer. Staff friendly and efficient. Food very good, both breakfast and dinner provided a variety and choice. Restaurant and bar tastefully decorated and comfortable. Reception area was very relaxing opening out onto seated decking with a beautiful view. Excellent value for money. Congratulations to Owners and Staff, other hotels take note The Four Seasons shows exactly how its done! cant wait to go back.

No Wi-Fi bad service at the bar, terrible room, overall a bad experience.

The first room we had was a disaster: — broken flush — paint peeling out from the wall in the bathroom — badly vented bathroom — smell in the room I then talked to the management team that moved us to a room that was worth the €90 per night we paid : — king size bed with all facilities we expect from a 4 star hotel at this price We literally moved from a bad 2 star room to a 4 star room.
