Thank you so much to Ciara and Aisling for everything for Òrans communion yesterday. From start to finish everything was fab. Service. Food. The function room. Would highly recommend the river bank for a function. Our favourite place to go for a meal ❤

Great food, great service, social distancing and felt very safe and relaxed.

Thank you, delicious takeaway dinner up to the usual standard & portions are large enough to have leftovers for lunch (if you can resist eating it all)! Looking forward to dessert later when we have some room for it. Definitely recommend & we’ll be back again, great to not have to cook for a night & support local businesses at the same time.

Had our wedding here. Cannot say enough good things about the staff. If I had to do it all over again, I’d still choose the Riverbank.

Very disappointed with the river bank this evening. Usual very good. Serving staff and bar man was excellent food was lovely as usual. But unfortunately this can not be siad for the front of house/ manager — she was extremely rude. Will not be returning.

Riverbank is a beautiful secluded venue. It has a relaxing and and soothing atmosphere with comfortable bedrooms, great food, large function room and bespoke bar: the perfect location for your wedding reception.

Very very disappointed travelled from omeath to dine in this restaurant on Sunday evening passing lots of good eating places on the way e. G. Fitzpatrick s. We had rang and booked a table at 8 45 and arrived at exact time. Manageress asked us to order straight away as chef finished at 9 that suited us cause we were hungry but why did she take our late booking if chef was in a hurry. It was a very rushed experience. Food was just alright starters good I had salmon which was lovely but no lemon served. My potatoes were cold in the middle and the side order of mixed veg was freezing steak ok food in general was cold. Never asked would we like a glass of wine never asked was our food ok paid our bill and left. The menu was very basic more like a Sunday lunch menu third time t here not sure I will be back.

Fire doors locked in the morning when we came down for breakfast at the pre arranged time. The shower head was disconnected and sitting on the bathroom sink. Bed linen was torn.

Had the pleasure of recording the video at the Riverbank yesterday for the wedding of Kim and Vincent Greenan. First time at this venue and the best description I have is "A Hidden Gem". Not the easiest place to find, but well worth the effort. Super food (and that's just going by the wedding dinner, which in my experience is a great way to get a feel for what a place is like), great staff and a fabulous atmosphere. Visit it. Myself and 4 friends stayed here last night, had a really lovely night. Guesthouse was so cosy, beds were comfortable, food was amazing and all the staff who served us throughout our stay were all very attentive and friendly. Couldn't recommend the place enough and will definitely be back.

This place is amazing, fantastic place for our wedding. Staff are awesome, and the food is the best I have tasted. I can't recommend this place enough. Untill you check this place out you don't know what your missing.!

This is a lovely meal, nice and relaxing atmosphere and a great place to meet up with my family. L was really impressed with the decor and it is really nice to sit outside in the sun in the evening, we were made to feel welcome and at home. The food is really lovely and loads on your plate.
