We stop here for a night while travelling around Ireland, rooms are good size, the shower has hot water and great pressure (was first ever shower that was perfect since travelling roads of ireland). Breakfast was included, large size breakfast served. Restaurant for dinner has huge size meals and was great tasting. Friendly staff and lovely little town.

The room are clean but could do with work they are bit dated. Staff are friendly but when we check in the they told us we have get up at half8 two pay for parking. We could of do this the night before and the staff should of know this. Bed was very comfortable. Brakfbrea was very small for the price. Felt like I was in Dublin and not mayo. Over all ok place clean room nice staff.

Good food but we felt the dinning area was a little bit cold.

At a christening staff were great food delicious.

It's ok warm welcoming place pints can be hit and miss and food can be hit and miss staff are friendly.

Meal was nice (chicken curry) and we'll presented. Desert I had apple pie and the apple was nice but the pastry a bit chewy and the ice cream was too cold and icy (always associated with poor quality ice cream). Place was nice, quite as it was Monday night and off season so happy with the experience.

Had a carvery dinner which was excellent value and good sized potions. Proper country food served in a clean comfortable environment. Place had a working lunch feel with probably a lot of regular locals. Always a good sign.

Do you know what, it's honest and friendly and the staff are really nice it's no 5 star but it's homely.

Lovely cosy hotel with friendly staff and food is lovely wheather its carvery or off the evening menu. Great place for kids as they provide crayons and paper menus to keep them busy.

Seriously good carvery, and evening menus, huge portions, lovely staff and very well priced, not expensive at all! Highly recommended!

I've stayed here many time and always had a wonderful stay … The breakfast is top class also, I fell in love with their brown bread :)

The staff are so friendly & helpful. There is a big fireplace with a gas fire that is so realistic it makes one want to poke the coals! The food is great — generous portions & very reasonably priced. We've been going to The Dalton (The Dolly, my husband knick named it! ) for the16 years we've lived in Ireland & it's our favourite watering hole. Come & visit, why don't ya?!

Great location. Excellent bar and staff with good opening hours. The food out of the kitchen is the star here! Everything is excellent. Only complaint is the toilet roll holders in room sometimes stick. Annoying. Hopefully be back!

We stayed in Dalton inn sunday night, had a brilliant night, we will definatly be going back again, our room was spotless, the food was fantastic. They had a greatband in the loung Route 66 geat entertainment. I have to give a big mention to a very good barman and a lovely person, very helpfull, John, andwe had him as our waiter the next morning, top marks for john, pity we dont have more like him around, so a big thank you john for all ur help and kindness from julie and kathy, an we will be back.

It's an excellent base to spend time in Claremorris. The rooms are clean and the food and drink is great as well.

We really enjoyed our late lunch here earlier today. I'd highly recommend the vegetable samosas (compliments to the chef! — Andrew). Superb service from Mary (Morley). We loved chatting to you both. Keep up the great work! Love, Nuala & Ann. X.

Fantastic atmosphere and a very comfortable stay.

Two night stay! Feb 2016 No hot water in the sink! No cold water in the shower! Duty manager didn't give a hoot!

Ok place, good staff, good restaurant, bar. Lively social scene on Saturday's. Comfortable room.
