A clean, up-to-date budget hotel. Standard rooms are quite small and windowless. Premium rooms are a better value. Staff is pleasant and helpful. About 2 km from the Merdeka and train station.

Just stayed there for a short visit like for one night. The facility was totally fine. Got a welcome drink. A nice small room with a fine private bathroom. Overall, a nice stay for sleeping.

It's a perfect hotel for an overnight stay. Our room was not noisy, sheets and bed were clean, bathroom clean too. There is cafe and tea in the kitchen (not the best though) and water refill station! The staff is helpful, providing informations about transportation and local places.

Ok place to stay. Decent room. Aircon not so cold. Budgey place to stay. Housekeeping doesnt replace mineral water daily if staying longer than 1 night.

Usually I don't write bad reviews but they asked for it so here we go. Staff was friendly at beginning. Room not so good. No window and smelling like piss. Not allowed to smoke inside but would be better cause tobacco smells better than piss. I also rented motorbike. Good price and bike. But it fell to side while parking. The end of break handle broke off. So I went to Honda service. They told me it's no problem, fixed some other things and told me also price for replacement of break handle. But permata inn wanted double of the repair/replacement money. I also give them bike with full petrol, but also did not cut this from my bill. So I had to pay more than double of repair/replacement costs or they won't give me back my ID card. No cooperation at all. They preferred to get a bad review. Anyways, there are better options in Medan. Better rooms for cheaper price at better locations.

Room was good — better than expected from the reviews. The only weird thing was that the plastic cover was still ocer the mattress. Apart from that a good room for a night or two. Hotel can help with transfer to lake toba or berastagi and the staff was very friendly. There are no elevators though and you are expected to carry your luggage yourself. Can't say much about the localtion as we only stayed for one night but was easy to get to from the airport.

Safe and clean helpful staff, good location. Would come back here. Very inexpensive only 13€/night. Had a night booked have stayed 3. Had simple room with window.

Locate in the center of the city. Easy access to main city.

Location is good. The hotel staffs are very polite and friendly. They always help with location n other helps. Rooms ate okay but need to be painted. Otherwise great deal with the price.

This budget accommodation is about 10mins walk to Medan Fair Plaza. Damri bus from Kualanamu Airport has a station at this plaza. The fare is 20, 000Rp. The room is clean. Breakfast (local food) is free with coffee and tea but no bread. The check-in counter is at the old premise and the rooms are next door called Roemah Boenga or house of flowers. This inn has taken over the flower business. Next to this inn is Milo Family Karaoke. Tv, a/c, mineral water, towel, many plug points, reading lamp, desk and chair are provided. Wifi is free with max download speed of about 1.3Mb. Only cold water for shower. Shared toilets. Water dispenser available.

Good budhet hotel and helpful staff. Wifi 7/10. Can be a bit noisy.

Nice rooms, good value for money. Next to Carrefour and KFC. Good connection with airport and friendly staff.

Very clean and comfortable room (although a little small and no window). Our room didn't have an en-suite but the shared bathroom was very clean at all times. The only downside was that although breakfast was included in the cost and I'm vegetarian and the only option was chicken soup. We didn't complain though because the staff were so lovely and helpful.

Value for money. Good location, KFC and a great coffee shop (Macehat) within walking distances. There are also a few street food joints around. Friendly and helpful staff, Iwan is particularly jolly and will be happy to help. The nights can be really hot but there are air-conditioned rooms mostly, fans if not (single room). There are drinks offered at reception, and a free breakfast which was better than most I've had so far. Recommend.

The staff are super friendly. But I was waiting for a taxi for a very long time and as they are all young guys they were using the walkie talkie to tell each other that people in the hotel were making 'noises' in their room. (This went one for almost an hour — and it was very embarassing) This made me very uncomfortable and as a single female traveller I felt like this is very inappropriate and people who work in hotels need to be discreet, even if it is a budget hotel. Other than this it was ok, places in Medan are very small and for 155, 000 I got a double bed with shared bathroom but the bathroom and shower were on the ground floor which is not nice to have to take all things downstairs and up in the morning. If you stay just get the bathroom in the room and pay a little extra.

Spent 9 nights here. The owners seemed very friendly, but I think the staff could have been more friendly. Overall good. Close to nearly everywhere in the city. Oh, you can rent car or motorcycle here if you want to.

Clean, very good Wi-Fi, the guy in reception is very nice and the beds ae awesome. Ugrade to private room with bathroom worths the money.

To be honest the owner is a 5 star. Wonderful and informative. But the place is not 3 star as advertised. Or photo are not same. Technically its not in a good quality… some rooms was without toilet flash and no windows, that why smell founded. But for money paid it's value. Thanks for the owner and stuff they are so friendly.

Nice cheap room with Air con. Very very clean! The shower isn't hot, but the bathroom is clean too! Shared bathroom for some rooms, sun terrace to dry clothes!

There wasn't any hot water during either of my stays. Wi-Fi connectivity wasn't always great but, when it worked, it worked fine. I purchased a private city tour from the hotel and was really pleased when the owner suggested to another guest that she join me and that we split the cost. I appreciated that the owner was helping me save money and it was great to have some company for the tour. The hotel doesn't guide you at the city sites. You are dropped off in a private car at each site then tour the site on your own while the car waits for you. This is the type of travel I like doing anyway. If you've got two people, the tours are a very reasonable price.
