The staff and owners of the resort are described as very friendly, welcoming, and tactful. Guests note the employees' willingness to be accommodating; for example, providing early check-in at 10 AM or late check-out. Nevertheless, there have been complaints regarding check-in delays, with waiting times in the lobby extending up to two hours, as well as language barriers and slow service from the restaurant staff.

For breakfast, a choice is offered between fried rice, fried noodles, or kwetiau, accompanied by fresh juice, coffee, and tea. Opinions on the food are divided: some guests find the dishes very tasty, while others complain about mediocre taste, undercooked and soggy pizza, and very long waiting times for orders.

The villas are equipped with air conditioners, water heaters, kettles, refrigerators, and full mini-kitchens with a stove, cookware, and even a mortar and pestle. Bottled drinking water is provided in some rooms. It is important to note that televisions are completely absent from the rooms, as the resort's concept focuses on relaxing in nature. Additionally, brooms are provided in the rooms for cleaning sand brought in from the beach.

The cleanliness of the villas is rated highly, and the bed linens and towels are clean. However, many guests note that the resort itself looks old and requires renovation: the furniture and finishes are worn, and the floors creak in some rooms. There are complaints about unpleasant odors from the refrigerators, the smell of cockroaches in the cutlery drawers, as well as insects in the beds and an abundance of ants and cockroaches in some cottages.

The situation with the air conditioning is inconsistent. Some guests are satisfied that the rooms remain cool, while others complain that the units are too small for the room area or do not work at all. There was an instance where the room remained too hot even after an old air conditioner was replaced with another unit.

There is a clean swimming pool on the premises, which is very popular with children, although some guests suggest that it requires technical maintenance and the replacement of missing tiles. The resort has its own private beach with a sandy entrance, calm waves, and a seabed suitable for swimming. Many chairs and sun loungers are set up along the coast for relaxation.

Kuda Laut Resort is excellent for family vacations and large groups. Spacious villas are available (for example, 3-bedroom villas) that can accommodate 11 or more people. Children can safely play in the sand on the shore or spend time in the pool. To combat insects, mosquito coils are provided in the rooms.

Overall, the atmosphere is calm, natural, and secluded, allowing guests to "disconnect" from their routine. The abundance of green trees creates pleasant shade and coolness. However, some guests describe their stay as a "horror experience" due to the worn condition of the rooms and issues with insects.
