Had an amazing time at Jarwo House. The hostel is super social and really easy to meet people and make friends. I made a lot of great memories there and the atmosphere felt like a little family. Big thanks to the local legends Jalu and Hesa for making the experience even better. Definitely one of my favorite hostel experiences so far!

The place to meet people in Batu Karas.
Djawo House is a great spot if you want a social and easygoing stay in Batu Karas. The facilities are basic, but everything you really need is there, including good hot showers.
What makes this place stand out is the atmosphere and the people. It’s a great place to meet other travelers and connect with foreigners passing through the area.
A special mention to Hessan, the manager — always relaxed, welcoming, and down to do something fun. He gives great tips on where to go and what to do around Batu Karas, which makes the experience much better.
Definitely recommended if you value people and atmosphere over luxury.

Spent 4 nights here and I gotta say it’s a really nice place! Lovely people with a good vibe. Also it’s close to the beach which was nice.
