I love it at house of sawah! From the rooms, views, food, music and very friendly staff. If you are ever in the area or need a vacation. I highly recommend spending some time here. Not to mention if you surf, there’s incredible waves minutes away!

Went here to grab some breakfast with my friends. We ordered scrambled deluxe and eggs your way, both are so good! Add tabasco, mustard and ketchup. For the drink, they provide water in a jar! We love it!
A little bit pricey compared to other restaurants but heeey they got the excellent view of rice field and calm ambience. Definitely will come back soon.

House of Sawah is a charming accommodation and a fancy spot to relax. If you’ve ever been to “Nook” in Bali, you’ll definitely feel the same cozy vibe here. Surprisingly, the food and drinks are really good! The place is super cozy with beautiful views and a nice breeze that makes you feel so relaxed.
However, you’ll need to be patient with the service, especially when the cafe is crowded, as the staff sometimes forget orders. Despite this, it’s a perfect spot for relaxing or working from a cafe. It’s definitely a place you’ll want to return to. Hopefully, the service will improve in the future!

For the price it self is very expensive compare to the other restaurants nearby, but the taste and ingredients was top notch.

House of Sawah is the place for breakfast, lunch, and dinner in Batu Karas. It offers an exceptional selection of healthy Asian and international cuisine, prepared to the highest quality standards. During our stay, we ate here often, and I especially appreciated finding a Negroni on the cocktail list. The relaxed atmosphere, nestled between rice fields, adds to the charm of this well-laid-out spot. A special mention goes to Ridwan, the most friendly waiter who took great care of our family. Although we didn’t stay overnight, the dining experience alone makes it a must-visit. Highly recommended!

Came here for the restaurant and it was not disappointing at all. In fact, it exceed my expectations. The steak was beautifully cooked, much better than many restaurants in Bandung. The burger was chef kiss and the coffee was the best I had in a while. Will definitely come back anytime I visit Batu Karas or Pangandaran and perhaps try the room.

We stayed at House of Sawah for a few night, and had a wonderful stay.
Located is Batukaras near the beach, it’s a serene place overlooking a rice field. Wake up overlooking the magnificent view while sipping your coffee and having a wonderful meal.
A small collection of a few cottages thus far makes this a cozy place to stay. Our room was a small bungalow with outdoor space in the front and side. Simple but comfortable. The sleeping was good with a cozy and clean bed. There is storage for all our belongings, including surfboards and drying racks, so it doesn’t feel too cramped. Our bath room allowed a refreshing morning shower with the trees and sky. The alternative spaces are inviting, making it possible to not stay in the room the whole time.
The restaurant is a place where many people come to hang out because of the good food and great atmosphere. It’s modern and clean, thoughtful of small details. Quite a few people working online from here.
Breakfast was free with our stay, adding to the value. Meals were of high quality, and I wanted to eat everything. I ate healthy and didn’t feel that vacation bulge on my stomach. The staff were friendly and helpful. May I say I also appreciate the volume of the music which didn’t ruin the atmosphere and could not be heard from rooms. The restaurant is positioned to look over the rice paddy, and is close to bungalows. Mature trees and foliage help give shade and feel cooler, and add to the environment.
