We loved our stay at Lagoona. We got the pool view room — it was spacious and beautiful! The bathroom is gorgeous with an open air shower; beautiful natural light and very aesthetic. The gardens around the bungalows are gorgeous and the whole place has a very serene relaxing vibe. Its a bit further away from the beach itself which meant it was quiet and homely — we rented bikes and got around fine. Any place a bit too far for us to ride — the staff very kindly drove us on their scooters! Thankyou Anjar and Nicho! The staff were also lovely and helpful — with nice breakfast in the morning — thankyou Nonik! The amenities were also great with aircon in our room and good Wi-Fi. I couldnt recommend Lagoona enough and we hope to be back soon!
Very poor experience.
I booked through Agoda where the room was listed as having air conditioning, but on arrival the room did not have AC. The staff said this issue happens OFTEN with Agoda bookings.
Agoda approved a full refund, but the hotel refused, citing their policy of no refunds within 30 days before the booking date. When I tried to discuss this calmly, the staff responded in a raised voice and said they do not cooperate with Agoda and do not hold themselves accountable. Extremely unprofessional for a hospitality business.
The room itself is very rustic, and the location is far from the main road, so you’ll need a car or motorcycle to reach the beach or even a convenience store.
I will not be looking to staying here again.
