Staying at De Batara Hotel was a really pleasant experience and honestly exceeded my expectations. The first impression when I arrived was already positive—the location is very strategic, close to many popular spots in Bandung, so it’s easy to get around whether for leisure, shopping, or dining. Yet even with the central location, the hotel feels quiet and comfortable, which is perfect for rest after a long day.
The lobby and common areas are neat and welcoming, giving off a cozy vibe. Check-in was smooth, the staff was very friendly, professional, and always ready to help with a smile. That personal touch made me feel truly taken care of, and it’s clear that customer service is a priority here.
The room itself was spacious, clean, and well-maintained. The bed was super comfortable with fresh linens, making it easy to get a good night’s sleep. I loved the modern yet warm design, and the facilities inside the room were complete for a comfortable stay—AC worked perfectly, Wi-Fi was stable and fast, the hot water ran smoothly, and everything felt well taken care of. From the window, I also got a nice view of the surrounding area which added to the experience.
Breakfast was another highlight—tasty, varied, and enough to give energy for the day. From local dishes to simple international options, the spread was enjoyable and served fresh. The restaurant area is also comfortable for dining, whether alone or with family.

This announcement was shared on the leaflet at the lift, but the receptionist didn't mention this at all at the check in.
This is an issue.
The amenities such set of coffee and tea only 1 pcs each. Switch for shower and kran was broke, disfunction.
The main issue is at the restaurant, I think another customer should consider ordering a room only, without breakfast.
Because the breakfast meal is not proper enough, and very limited.
Wastafel was not proper, the rest room at the restaurant was under maintenance.
Overall that was a wonderful experience to became a guest at this hotel. I hope this hotel still has the energy to survive.

This hotel is value for money… Room is really spacious and neat, however the bathroom quite small and lightening not so impressive… Located near to night market alongside the main road… Receptionist was friendly and helpful…

Breakfast was inedible, and the restaurant was dirty. Bathroom was gloomy and damp. Poorly maintained hotel with broken lights, cracked tiles. Good location and friendly reception staff, but not worth the money.

Breakfast was inedible, restaurant was dirty. The hotel wasn't well-maintained. Water wasn't always hot. Broken floor tiles, lights not working, bathroom smelled damp.

The towel. They do not prepare for breakfast because of Ramadhan, but they provide money refunds.

The hotel seems to be run down. The lights on the corridor and the rooms are so dim making me feel uncomfortable. The breakfast served was cold and limited option in an area which looks like an underground “garage”. There is nothing good like what it has been described in reviews. The room are nothing like what you see online. The only plus point was its location in cihampelas where you could find a decent mall in a walking distance for food. You can also get souvenirs around the area.

Recomended… clean.
