I booked for 1 night and ended up staying for a week. The hostel is very clean and well organized, with a nice living room and a gym. All staff are super nice with a kind hospitality, makes me feel home. Highly reccommended if you are looking for a nice and affordable hostel in strategic location in Jakarta.

A relatively new hostel. I was there during their 1 month anniversary which was 29th April 2018. The hostel was very good, clean and has a lot of facilities. Despite of its small size, they offers so many facilities like a small gym and entertainment space with a modern PC, a Playstation, a DVD player, a TV, and many board games to play with others guests in the 5th floor. The yellow hostel is in minimalist design and looks very neat. They also offers free coffee, tea and snacks every morning.

The staff were very very good! The receptionist Afni was extremely helpful, she helped me book train tickets when I wasn’t able to at the station and even invited me and a friend for dinner to a local restaurant. The Wi-Fi was very good as I was able to watch a film on my phone. Very clean, very comfortable.

Stay at 10/05/2018. Choosing room with 12 bed, cool design and features, the price are lil bit expensive for hostel. Located near station and Jl. H Agus Salim (food market at night). Good choice for backpackers, but at room 410 the door lock are broken, so everybody can get in without key. And one more thing, be careful when you're smoking in 5th floor (smoking balcony), there are 3 highly flammable tank, so dont throw your butts away!

Na 12 uur te hebben gereisd vanaf Sumatra kwamen we aan bij Konko waar we een 2-persoons kamer met eigen badkamer hadden geboekt. Aangekomen na de lange reis werd ons gezegd dat de kamer, die we de dag ervoor geboekt hadden, niet beschikbaar was vanwege “onderhoud”. Dit hostel is nu net een maand open maar blijkbaar zijn er nu al dingen stuk. Zonder enige compensatie werd ons een 2-persoons kamer met stapelbed opgedrongen onder het mom van, take it or leave it. Moe van de reis en geen idee waar we anders heen moesten accepteerden we de kamer die relatief duur (18 euro) was waarbij we de badkamer deelden met anderen. Het delen van een badkamer is geen probleem voor ons maar deze wordt helaas niet goed schoongemaakt. Schoonmaken werd over het algemeen niet gedaan want naast de badkamer was ook onze kamer niet schoon. Een dikke stoflaag op het trappetje naar het bovenste bed en op het plankje naast je bed waar je wat spullen op kwijt kan. De service behoeft ook nog verbetering. Op alle kamers hangen verwijzingen naar de was-service die het hostel biedt. Echter bij de balie was het erg lastig om dit voor elkaar te krijgen. Pas toen we zeiden dat we onze was ergens anders wilden laten doen werd er moeite gedaan. Ook het uitchecken verliep niet zonder problemen. In alle vroegte (6:15 uur) stonden we bij de balie (die 24 uur per dag bezet zou zijn) omdat we met de trein verder gingen en onze borg terug wilden.

I really like this place. Konko Hostel well known with the yellow color. This place is clean, full aircon. You can smoking in the rooftop or at the front of the hostel while inside the hostel is totallly non smoking area. With the concept as low budget hostel Konko is located in the center of Jakarta. It's near the Gambir Train Station and also The Gatot Subroto Army Hospital. It's around 700m from Konko Hostel. It's near to the cafe, so it's easy to find food here. ! The Konko Hostel had bath room inside our room and there also liquid soap with shampoo. Thing I don't like is we must pay for the towel and buy the aqua at the front office. In the future I hope we can have the towel for free and aqua as welcome drink. Overall, I will stay in Konko Hostel again when I come back to Jakarta. It's located in a strategic location, cheap, clean and no smoking area. I suggest bcuz yy Jakarta especially if you wanna stay at Central Jakarta. Komodo sandwich in the NONKY restaurant in ground floor was THE BOMB! KONKO is a new and clean hostel, incredibly well furnished with complete amenities like gym and game room — will come back.

A very comfortable hostel in central of Jakarta, near to the station, near to US embassy, 10minutes walk to monas, tons of cafe around. You’ll have NONKY cafe at the 1st floor. Good and tasty food. Congrats Steven!
