The Aryaduta Jakarta Hotel is a good choice if you are visiting to meet in this part of the city. The included (often, depending if booked) breakfast is decent value and good quality. The hotel bar is classy but expensive. The Tavern — tucked away off the lobby just outside and to the right — has probably the best hamburgers in Jakarta. And an ample supply of Panthers.

To be honest, I didn't think it was pleasant enough for the standard of a 5-star hotel. The bath sink wasn't thoroughly cleaned as you could still spot some stains on it. The room we received was also previously occupied by smoker guests, despite the fact that we'd told them to give us a non-smoking room. There were a lighter and ashtray, which indicates that it was a smoking room. Despite this, it apparently had all facilities at quite decent quality. The breakfast was also great and satisfactory. The receptionists were friendly, which is a great thing! All in all, other than being more careful when giving the guests their rooms, keep up the good work.

I like the foods. The buffet was nice. It has a nice conference room. The services was nice, also its clean. But no prayer room (too bad).

We stayed at Aryaduta for 2 nights. The room was clean and quiet. There was some wear and tear in the furniture but otherwise all in good condition. The room had a good-sized table for working on a notebook PC. There was Ethernet port which provided a more stable connection than the Wi-Fi. The bathroom was clean, spacious though the bath tub had a big black stain. The shower's water pressure was sufficient and its temperature was just right at its highest so there's little chance of getting burnt by hot water. A rain shower would have been a plus. The entrance is gated with security guards to check vehicles, as well as guards at the main entrance for body and bag checks. The staff were polite and professional. The gym was double-storey with weight machines in the lower floor and cardio machines on the higher floor. Unfortunately the air-conditioning were not working when we used the treadmill and elliptical machines, which detracted from our workout. The gym provided fresh towels and had water cooler. Overall a positive experience with potential for return stay.

Our stay at Aryaduta Jakarta was pleasant. They have a beautiful pool as well a spa to truly get pampered. They also have excellent facilities for events and meetings. The central location made for easy access to shopping and other points of interest. The let downs are some of the rooms and common areas could use more detailed maintenance and care to maintain the upscale experience. Also junior staff members could use better training with better servicing the guests needs more promptly.

Should be a good hotel with spacious space however it seems they do not maintain it. For hotel in this area and this price; there are other hotel that is better at system and facility. The TV is still small (20 inch), a lot of power source is dead. Some of The lift buttons are dead, breakfast is normal, no choices in shower water only 1 kind of warm temperature, and the receptionist do not want to be held responsible for customer request on rooms. For example u have to come on the day you are staying to check whether u get smoking room or not (i have to wait for 30 minutes at reception at 4.00 pm to check whether or not I get the requested room)

The staffs are friendly. The room that I stayed is very spacious and could hold at least another two extra beds. Very clean except some part of the furniture and toilet accessories are quite worn out. One minor drawback of the room is, the room temperature is centralised which during the day, the room can be quite warm. The room comes with breakfast and they are not bad at all. All in all, the hotel is a good choice to stay if you wouldn't mind of spending extra money to get to places for food and shopping.

I visited the hotel attending national conference. An old big hotel. It located near the train station and other public facilities. They served a delicious meal for our coffee break and lunch. I really appreciate them for providing a mushola on the first floor near the receptionist, but it is very small, the size almost like a cubicle. They also organize jumat pray on the parking area. It is very helpfull for muslim guests.

Good hotel, spacy, clean, good food and reasonable price 4 four stars hotel. A good alternative 4 stars to stay while in Jakarta.

Went to Shima Japanese restaurant. Very very good, will definitely recommend this to everyone. The Best part is the dessert its a flaming ice cream with grilled banana. My goodness thinking of the ice cream makes me want to come back even more.

The hotel is well located close to all the major attractions. The rooms were a little dated and overall the hotel is pretty old but elegant nonetheless. The breakfast buffet consisted of a wide variety of options and everything was pretty tasty. The only thing I would say about this hotel is that the staff seemed like they were under a lot of pressure, this resulted in a less than warm welcome and from all my travels I can say for certain that happy staff make the experience that much more memorable and enjoyable. I think the management will do well if they focused on their staff satisfaction levels and employee benefit packages as I am certain this will help lift spirits and provide the expected atmosphere for a hotel that boasts a 5 star rating.

It was a quite classic (if not old) hotel. They're updating it bit by bit, but indeed slow. The plus side, they're maintaining the elegance aspect of the place well. Plus: — if you're a member of iPrefer (which you can register for free), you'll most likely get a free room upgrade and a late check out up to 3 PM. — the elegance aspect of the interior (lobby, room, restaurants) is quite well maintained even though it looks old. — breakfast is so-so but lunch and dinner were superb. — bed was so comfortable. Minus: — I've said it twice. It's… Old. They really need to update the interior (make the windows bigger, update the iPod/Phone dock (everyone uses lightning port, not the old iPhone 4 port anymore! ) ). — Some parts of the room are either stained, teared off, or look bad because of how old it is. — No exhaust fan in bathroom? I found the bathroom quite drainage-stinky because there wasn't any exhaust fan. Looking forward for the updated version of this hotel!

An old five star hotel. With a poor interior. I have never stayed here though, just had dinner at the restaurant. I think they should change their furniture to give a little fresh look. But the location is very good. Walking distance to the national monument and Gambir train station and some other touristic place.

All very good, maybe a little away from the Jakarta mall, excellent breakfast and 100points for the staff.

The room is old and really lacking, the AC in my room did not work properly, all the confusing on/off switch. Last but not least, I had one of the worst breakfast in a five star hotel, but props to the egg station.

Luxurious hotel with good hospitality. The staff is polite and helpful. However, some room facilities are broken. Breakfast and in-room dining are available at the hotel, but food's taste is not so delicious in my opinion.

Excellent hotel with many facilities like gym, swimming pool and multiple food options, which is important since the vicinity doesn't have much food.

Super bad parking system. Super tight parking space, super difficult to manouver. 06sep2017, registered for free parking, but still hv to pay. Crazy!

An old hotel with few staff that helps you to go around. The rooms are fairly large, while the equipments look old. The swimming pool is a standard rectangular pool without any perks.

The service is very good, staffs are well trained. Room is comfortable. Initially I was offered a smoking room, but fortunately I can ask to switch to a non smooking room. Breakfast quality is also good. But the most important aspect is the location, this hotel very close to Gambir station only 10 minutes walking with normal speed.

Although I did not spent night at this hotel, I experienced the room. Spacious. Comfortable bed. Good Wi-Fi. Walking distance to Gambir Train Station.

Staying in superior room. pros: location, room quite clean, satisfactory Wi-Fi connection. cons: dated furniture and facilities. No AC temperature control, no ironing board in the room, no power outlet dedicated for laptop at the desk. Hanger only 4 pcs (not enough even for short business visit).

A favorite meeting place for those in Central Jakarta though it is a rather old establishment. Need major refurbishments on building interior and exterior as well as services and food and drinks…

This is a relatively old 5 star hotel, but it's maintained fairly well. By today's standards this is probably more like a 4 star hotel. Rooms are run of the mill but clean. Prices are quite cheap, probably 50 to 80 USD per night for a double, so in a sense it's pretty good value. If you are on a budget, this is not a bad place to stay, just don't expect anything special.

The ballroom is superb. Hotel hosts are nice people.

Very Bad Internet Connection. I have been thee nights in the hotel. Now I I am writing in the hotel room not using the hotel's internet connection since it always shows "very limited".

Stayed here in April 2013. Excellent place to stay for the money. Will be returning to Jakarta end of june and plan to stay there again.
