Ijen Suites Resort & Convention

We were here recently.
We ended up in a room where the bathroom mirror wasn't cleaned and the glasses in the bathroom were still dirty!
There were only a few towels, only two big ones and a small one for two adults and a small child.
There weren't many outlets, and for some reason these were the shortest beds we had (luckily we're both not too tall).
The restaurant was okay.

Decent hotel in a good location, near alun alun malang, Ijen boulevard, and diverse malang local food cuisines. It also borders with Ijen nirwana residence which is elite neighborhood in malang and you can use it for morning jog. If you happen to come at weekend morning jog at Ijen boulevard will be great.
The room is decent, old hotel style, quite clean, AC functioned well, Wi-Fi good, the linen clean but the carpet looks can be replaced. Breakfast is ok. Various menu and decent taste.
Hotel facilities the pool 5 star, but the gym 3 star.
Hotel staf friendliness is great and the Front office manager also helpful. Deserve 5+ star for them.

Location and staff 10/10 perfect but room is basic and it's not so clean all corner girl hair, shower also. First thing they must check after cleaning there is a hair or no but they left hair at room. That not acceptable. Shower head holder is broken. Shower door don't close completely. They need to repair. Hair dryer working max 10 seconds after that you must wait 5 minute to be cold again and again you mut repeat that. Breakfast also standard local breakfast, quality low also. We went morning so early but still chicken is so cold, drink it's really sugary, pastry was nit fresh. I just didn't understand and believe year is 2025 but still they allow smoking at lobby. Its outdoor reception but how is possible they allow smoking. We couldn't sit at lobby. Who smoking must go away from people. Must respect to the people. I was expecting more than this. That is not low cost hotel. They have to be more careful. 10/6.5-7

A pleasant hotel in a good location. The service was very friendly. The rooms were clean, the bed very comfortable. One evening the pool area was closed for us because of some event — it will be nice if the hotel let us know about it.

The food is absolutely terrible! I got food poisoning as a result of eating the chicken burger I was served. Never eat at the restaurant here! The staff at Ijen is very friendly. The rooms are spacious and well kept. But do to being sick on two different stays at the hotel as a direct result of eating the restaurants food, I'd rate the overall experience here 1 star! Sort out the food quality! 😣😖

A well presented hotel with friendly staff. THE FOOD! If you plan to order western food, think twice. Ordered tenderloin, my flip flaps taste better and healthier. Frozen on and off few times at least and therfore not tasty, let alone minor food poisoning.
All the food is old.
On second day I find a shadow through my pillow which was a huge blood stain covered with the pillow case. Laundry man brought the laundry 6am and start knocking repeatedly. Never exprienced it before. Prepare to wake up for prayer even if you are not Muslim. No sound proofing so u get all the noise.

Nice hotel. Room is clean and comfy. But I didn't satisfy with the breakfast. It's not delicious. I asked for 2 boiled eggs, it turned out to be 2 rotten eggs. So next morning I decided to have breakfast outside. Other than breakfast, it's nice. Recommended.

The hotel is nice and clean, the meeting room is spacious, the service is friendly.

The food is good friendly2 people ijennya the place is good… honestly kl there are items left in Wa with the hotel people… I am one week at IJEN Hotel.
