When booking budget accommodation here, definitely take a close look at the bedroom and bathroom photos: in cheaper Indonesian guesthouses, windowless rooms and wet-room bathrooms without a shower tray are quite common. It's also smart to check whether you're booking a mini-hotel with reception staff or just a room in a local home, so you know what to expect. Browsing recent guest photos will give you a clear, honest picture.
