Aria Gajayana

A hotel located in the heart of Malang, close to the City Square, Kayutangan Street, Toko Oen, and right next to MOG. The rooms are spacious, the rates are affordable, and the facilities are complete, clean, and comfortable. Breakfast is varied and delicious. Highly recommended.

Stayed for 11 nights for a football event in the city. Part of a sports and leisure complex which consists of a mall and a football stadium. Located near the city's main train station and government offices. However, parking here could be troublesome, especially during peak holiday times.
The interior and facilities were all decent, clean, and tidy. The staff members from the reception, housekeeping, laundry, restaurant, and greeters were all polite, helpful, and informative. The room was comfy and had the adequate necessities for and during my stay.
The breakfast buffet had my favorite make-your-own chicken porridge station. Although, it would be great if they provided fried shallots (bawang goreng) there. The busboys and busgirls were always helpful on taking used dishes.
Had the chance to use the meeting room, as well. It was decent with thoughtful and accomodating staff members.
All in all, I've had a pleasant and enjoyable stay at this hotel 👍🏽

I chose this hotel primarily for its excellent location near a mall and its central position in the city. However, reaching the hotel can sometimes be challenging due to traffic, especially with many people trying to enter the mall. It would be a great improvement if there were a separate entrance, not shared with the mall. Despite this, the breakfast selection is decent, and the staff are friendly. I'd definitely stay here again on my next visit to Malang.

Should be better off being marketed as a 3 Star hotel instead of 4.
Checking-in was a breeze, but they do not bother helping with moving luggages. The doorman would just look at you.
The room was big. The corridor isn’t carpeted, so you can hear doors slamming and people talking outside your room rather clearly. They do have comfortable bed and pillows though.
There was no safety deposit box in my room. Called housekeeping, and a chap brought in the metal box… while hugging it. The box was light. He just placed it on a shelf, and walked away. I mean, what's the use of having a light, moveable safe? It's okay. 3 stars hotel experience.
Was told that the hotel doesn’t provide iron and ironing board and guests can use their ironing service for a fee of course instead. Reminds me of some budget hotel stay instead of any other normal 4 stars hotels.
The cleanliness was abysmal, honestly showering in public would be a better choice. I could not walk around inside there barefooted. The shower floor was slimy, with mould growing on the walls. It was unacceptable for being rated as a 4 star hotel.
Service was good though. Everyone seems eager to please. Breakfast was good. Location is excellent as it's connected to a mall.
Amenities wise just needs more sprucing up. Alright stay but for the price, there are other alternatives that can provide better.

VERY EMBARRASSING! The hotel doesn’t maintain the cleanliness of the sheets properly! DISGUSTING!
There was menstrual blood on the sheets and it was not cleaned.

Corridors noise, need to be carpeted.
Car park open air and minimum space.
Minimal sound proofing between rooms.

Hotel Aria Gajayana is one of the best hotel in Malang City! Nice!

Room is simple with limited amenities. Super deluxe room includes free minibar. Breakfast serves variety of food both local and western with outdoor sitting option overlooking the hills and the city. Serving jamu is a plus point and they taste nice.

Breakfast and amenities are exceptional.
Friendly staff with great views from the room.

Rooms with an amazing view (depending on which side of the hotel you get). Easy access to a mall below the hotel (Mall Olympic Garden, MOG). Hotel has a gym, only a fly machine, cycling and a treadmill. Free towels and a water drink machine. It would be great if the gym was updated with new equipment. It has a pool too. Breakfast provided as well.

Lovely hotel staff friendly and helpful breakfast was ok for western menu hotel is large and airy the rooms comfortable clean and have everything you need for a short stopover. Only comment the bathroom which was lovely could be cleaner (especially grouting sink and round toilet) from our piont of view.
We would highly recommend this hotel.

Nice view of Malang City, at my room, we, me and fams, was able to get a good view of the city and two mountain.
All room's feature is usable with some safety over it's hair dryer.
Got a good above roof cafe with delicious foods.
Good swinming pool, but I'd love to have a container for stuffs rather than just three gazebos.
Direct access to a mall.
Good parking lot.
And, their services is outstanding.
The lobby? Makes me wanna sleep there.

Very satisfy when sleep here. Located at the center of the Malang township, very strategic and easy to access. Locate near Mall Olympic Garden, one of the largest Mall/Plaza at Malang City.
Facilities is very superb. Pool, gym, spa, etc. You can get a very various menu for breakfast. Very satisfying.
Price is affordable, but at high season you may haven't room for book.

Our room, facing the pool and the mall, was spacious, clean, and plain, without decorations. The room looked efficient and institutional, rather like a schoolroom. In fact, the echoing shouts of children playing in. And passing through, the halls throughout the morning, day and evening, made it feel as if our bedroom was one of many rooms in an elementary school. Probably more families than usual are on staycations during weekends. The breakfast from 6-10 am was good with many choices in the buffet and a lot of staff providing support. All of the staff are friendly and eager to be of service. The hotel is in a very convenient location. We took a taxi to the hotel, and we didn't know if the driver would be charged Rp. 10, 000 for parking after he left us, so we felt compelled to pay the driver for parking, just in case. We discovered later that usually they don't charge for parking if the car is in the complex for less than 10 minutes. The reception staff told us that, if the driver parks his car (somewhere) and comes to the reception desk with us, he can get a document that will exempt the car from the parking charge, but it was always less of a thrash just to pay the parking charge. Considering the price, we feel the Aria Gajayana provides an average value on weekends.

This hotel is Very Nice, clean, near mall so easy to shop.
