Hotel Santika Premiere Gubeng Surabaya

I stayed just one night in this hotel after visiting Mount Bromo and before going back to Bali. The position is slightly outside the chaotic city center. The room was very comfortable and had a nice view on the city. Breakfast was tasty and very abundant. Overall it's a good choice to spend a night in Surabaya.

I had a pleasant stay at Hotel Santika Gubeng, Surabaya. The service was friendly, and the check-in process was very quick. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with complete facilities. The breakfast was also varied and delicious, offering a selection of traditional Indonesian dishes as well as international menus.

Fantastic facilities, services and environment. The breakfast buffet has a variety of nice dishes to choose from. Room service is amazing, the workers also are very kind especially bila who offers great service and is very helpful!
Hotel is also located at a convenient spot close to many attractions, cafes, grocery markets.

Stayed here for one night for a quick transit and I thoroughly enjoyed the offerings. The hotel (building and room) was clean, well lit and well-maintained. The service was efficient, straightforward and friendly. I was particularly impressed by the breakfast buffet, the selection was superb. Also, the central location was convenient. Will stay here again.

As one of the comfortable hotel in Surabaya, Santika Premiere can be rate as a comfortable and yet glamorous one. The ballroom is also amazing one 👍.

Nice hotel. We had a twin room, the beds were good and the bathroom was fine. They didnt have a non smoking twin room available so we stayed in a smoking room. As we expected, it smelled like smoke. The housekeeping did their best trying to cover it with room spray. Since we were two friends on a holiday we didnt like a king bed so we didnt have so much of a choice. It would have been nice if the hotel was smoke-free.
The restaurant was closed for the two nights we stayed. So we ordered some food in the lobby bar, which tasted good.
The one annoying thing about the hotel was that it took very long before the elevator would stop for you. It is a busy hotel with conference rooms so there are a lot of guests using 3 elevators, which are pretty small so don't allow more then 6 or 8 people at a time. One time it took 10 minutes to bring us from the 10th floor to the restaurant for breakfast. After breakfast we also had to wait for like 5 minutes or so. This is just annoying and not pleasant when you are enjoying your holiday.

Fair price. Clean room, complete range of breakfast, and good taste. Nice pool, although small but not so busy. Close to city center and not far from airport. A value for money hotel. The only feedback would be to add the number of lift if possible. I happen to stay during an event where the lift are very busy so many other hotel visitor find it difficult to go up and down at certain time.

We stayed 1 night in this hotel and had a very early flight on the next morning.
For our breakfast we ordered breakfast boxes to go.
We have checked multiple times with the reception and we have waited for more than 15 minutes but it was still not ready.
Finally we left the hotel to catch our flight without the breakfast 👎

Due to an early flight, we have ordered our breakfast to be picked up at 3:30 in the morning as our transfer to the airport. After waiting for 15 min, our breakfast was still not ready…. So we left without breakfast…👎

Stayed here a night while transiting through Surabaya, which was the starting point for our trip through eastern java.
PROS.
— LOCATION — Its located a 15 minute walk from the gubeng train station which connects to Yogyakarta (Where we started from).
— STAFF — Friendly.
— ROOMS — Clean and comfort with functional air conditioning. Looked a bit tired though. Decent view over Surabaya.
— BREAKFAST — Was included and fairly decent. Buffet style.
— Wi-Fi worked well.
CONS.
— VALUE — Not the best for the standard of room.
— FACILITIES — The pool isnt particularly appealing, being tucked away on the bottom floors and the gym is fairly small to the point of being non functional.
Overall a reasonable place to stay but not going to be the highlight of your accomodation options in java.

Reasonable price. Good location. Good and clean room. Nice breakfast. It serves Indonesian food with great and original taste. Unfortunately, a couple of times, I have to wait longer to get lift because it was full with other guests.

Its a 10 years old hotel, but still well maintained.

Note;
The Ibu-ibu contingent simply quite annoying, hogging the lift. Going up and down floor.
Its quite challenging and take awhile to go down to the lobby.
