OYO 2120 Pieter Homestay Bromo

Lovely location, basic room but incredibly noisy.
We stayed for one night before going to Bromo volcano in the morning. The location is excellent — beauty mountain views, and right near the start of the Bromo trail.
The room we rented was basic, but had everything you need. Though, I paid 250, 000 RP, I have certainly had better value for money for the same price at other hotels.
The staff cooked us a very nice breakfast after we had got back from the trail, which was a nice touch.
However, the main issue with this stay was the noise. With convoys of Toyota Land Cruisers coming past starting around 2am, we were woken up. There was no soundproofing at all — it was so loud, we may as well have been stood outside. Though I put my earplugs in and managed to sleep again.
Not bad overall, but if you are not waking up early to see Bromo, I would suggest staying elsewhere.

Amazing views around the area. Stayed in the villa, really thick blankets that will be enough even for a cold night. It was really nice to just chill on the couch with the view. All they are lacking is a kettle in the room for a cup of hot tea.

Very spacious, clean and comfy. Internet is fast, although this is only 2 star guest house, the facilities provided is like 2 star budget hotel.
Staffs are very professional, friendly and helpful. Groceries shops and restaurants are about 100 — 200 meters from the guest house.
There is a water heater for the shower but you need to wait roughly 2 seconds before the water get warm.
There only thing they could improve, they need to provide kettle, complimentary bottled mineral water, coffee and tea sachet for their customers. Indeed, it is very cold here especially at night and early in the morning.
