Honestly a very good hotel and comfy. I love the room so much. But why the toilet always smell like trash drain? it’s smell so bad and strong. And please the Wi-Fi here sucks, it disappear every 5 seconds sometimes not even 5 seconds. As a foreigner it’s complicated to get a connection. Lastly, I really hope this hotel could maintain the food freshness. Idk if its because the food were displayed openly, but yk multiple insect are in my food. I really hope this honest feedback will helps.

I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the Reception Team, especially Shara, at Amala Hotel Malang for their exceptional service and hospitality.
I contacted the hotel to arrange a surprise birthday cake for my husband while he was staying there for a business trip. Shara and the reception team were incredibly helpful, responsive, and kind throughout the process. They handled everything smoothly and made sure the cake was delivered on time.
My husband was completely surprised and very happy when he received the cake on his birthday. Even though I was far away (England), the team helped me create a special and memorable moment for him.
Thank you, Shara, and the entire reception team, for going above and beyond to make this celebration possible. Your professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail truly reflect the wonderful hospitality of the hotel. I highly recommend Amala Hotel Malang and greatly appreciate the outstanding service I received.

I had a very good stay at Alana hotel overall. The room was comfortable and of a decent size, and cleanliness was good throughout my stay. The staff were polite and helpful.
The location is good and convenient, in Blimbing area north side of Malang. The facilities were useful and met expectations, and the breakfast and common areas were average.
However, there were some minor issues with noise and the Wi-Fi connection that could be improved. The room assigned to me on the top floor was next to the sky lounge, and noise continued past 11 pm, which disturbed my sleep. During my three-night stay, my phone was able to connect to the Wi-Fi for only one night. Although I reported this issue to the front desk and asked for assistance, the problem remained unresolved until I checked out.
Despite these small problems, the hotel offers fair value for money and I would probably recommend it to others.
