The Alana Hotel Malang

Stayed at Alana during a break in my business trip, and the staff kindly offered me a complimentary upgrade to a family suite—such a pleasant surprise. Located in a strategic area of Malang, Alana is one of the newer hotels that can easily become your go-to stay for exploring the city.
The family suite itself was very spacious, featuring a large bedroom with two king-sized beds, a separate living room, a dining area, and one bathroom—perfect for families or longer stays. The room was also well-equipped with a smart TV, water heater, an in-room water dispenser, fast Wi-Fi, and complete toiletries. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, making it easy to fully rest after a long day.
The only downside was the breakfast experience. By around 7 a. M. The area was already very crowded, and the layout of the food stations and seating could be better organized for smoother flow.
That said, it was still a very enjoyable stay. Bonus point: there’s a Dewa 19 Lounge on the rooftop, which adds a nice touch to the overall experience ✨

I had a wonderful experience staying at The Alana Malang.
Strategic location (near Blimbing station) and the rooms are very clean with complete facilities, use smart room technology "Google Nest" or the voice command feature, and the price is very affordable for what I get. 1st time here. Check-in service was pretty fast and let me in and out at 1 PM. The room is quite spacious for a 4-star hotel. The lobby is compact, including the small pool at the back, as well as the gym (no gym towel and drinking dispenser provided). One correction from me: last night was pretty busy, and I asked one of the waitresses that I heard there's a special discount for bakery items after 6 PM and would like to buy some; however, she directly said no discount at all, then I rechecked and it turned out there was. Pretty disappointed. Overall satisfied and recommended for Alana Malang.

I had a great stay at Alana Malang! The room was super clean and cozy, and the staff were really friendly and helpful. Breakfast had a good variety and tasted fresh every morning. The hotel has a calm and modern atmosphere, perfect for relaxing after a long day. Facilities were complete and well-maintained. Overall, very comfortable and definitely worth it!

Visited on a long weekend, got a deluxe room and twin beds, even though I requested a double bed. Maybe it was because the conditions were crowded and full, it's okay. At that time we only transited for a day. The room is not too big, but very clean, complete amenities, and comfortable room. The restaurant is very limited, so there is a waiting list and fighting for seats. The food is quite delicious. The staff is very friendly and informative. Overall, the hotel landscape is good.

Love love love our stay at Alana Malang! The staff are lovely and you can tell they love working for the place. As someone who has worked in hospitality the past 7 years, I would say that the management did a splendid job.
Our rooms are always cleaned everyday, the breakfast is incredible for a 4 star hotel. This place definitely exceeds our expectations. The location is close to the city center so it's easy access to foods and malls.
The room has a smart room feature incorporating Google home and energy efficiency. It has access to netflix and other streaming services which you can log into.

I recently attended the 10th Annual IT Conference at The Alana Hotel Malang, and it was a fantastic experience.
The food was amazing, with a great variety that everyone loved. Each meal was delicious and well-presented.
My room was very comfortable and clean, with all the amenities I needed for a pleasant stay.

I went here during a family trip and had ordered a twin-sized bedroom. Aziz, a customer service there saw the 4 of us and immediately upgraded our room as he noticed the bedroom we initially ordered would be rather packed to sleep in. He provided such great service, definitely deserves a raise! I recommend going here for your next trip as the rooms are also very comfortable.

An excellent hospitality and a very pleasant stay, special thanks to Tyas on the Front Office who has made my Wedding Anniversary very memorable by giving us a suprise of greetings cake and free room upgrade! (I put special notes ahead, didn’t expect anything, yet this hotel has given us a very special treat! ) thumbs up for the cleanliness and professionalism too.

Beautiful Hotel in Malang. We got Suite Family Room# 1000. The room was big and spacious 😍 Bed was also very comfy, two Kingsized beds 👌 The hotel was not big but cozy enough. The swimming pool is tiny ☹️ It was the downside of this hotel. The service was excellent 👌. Breakfast was very crowded with limited space. The food was delicious 😋

A comfort stay, I could say. Using Google Nest in room is a nice addition, but sometimes it didn’t work well because of the internet access not reliable enough. The Wi-Fi is always get disconnected for a couple of times. Hope it will be fixed ASAP. Besides that, it was a well maintained service.
Food is good, but the dining place is a little bit small. The variety of food is OK 👍🏼
