Best place to stay at Banyuwangi, everyone was very friendly and the food was top notch and the services was impeccable. Breakfast was rotated through the week, and I love the Indonesian food that they cooked. The AC was a bit warmer, but the nights were cold anyway so no issue. Overall highly recommend!
Clean, comfy, and spacious room even with an extra bed. The beds (and the extra) are comfy.
It's not soundproof but ok, I still can rest well.
I don't really like the bathroom door design cause the water splashes when showering. We had to 'mop' the floor with bath mat after shower. Because there were three of us, the mat got really wet.
Shout-out to the water jar and water dispenser in the corridor. I love that!
The breakfast was great. I loved it.
There were so many choices. Menus from snack stall on the corner, Banyuwangi's local menu, main menu, and fried rice changed from day to day. No need to worry whether you like western or local food. You won't find any problem if you're travelling with kids too.
Healthy fresh juices were available alongside the ones in the dispenser (need to find better recipe, probably by adding more pineapple, orange, or lime).
Too bad I didn't have the chance to try all of the hotel facilities.
The lobby is beautiful and comfortable (need to evaluate the two chairs on the round stage, a bit dangerous).
The staffs were friendly, helpfull, and very polite.
Overall, I like Illira.

Everything has been said really but this lovely hotel truly deserves the accolades it gets. Comfortable, clean, the room was large, breakfast was good > offered the option to sit out on their terrace or in their nicely appointed reataurant with nice view.
It was a complete pleasure meeting and speaking with Vanny, Prima, Oki, Ime, Moza, Mahgi and other staff. Everyone was very welcoming with big smiles and always so professional, helpful and thoughtful, thank you!
Meanwhile had little bit alarming experience with the massage therapist at this hotel. Sometimes the massage therapist was using her phone during the session while I was face down. She was thoughtlessly massage with one hand.
But overall I had an amazing staying at ILLIRA HOTEL.
