Swiss-Belhotel Solo

The hotel feels very luxurious from the moment you enter the gorgeous lobby and the staff were very friendly and always ready to help! You can leave your luggage with them before check in which is nice and allows you to look around solo while waiting.
The pool is quite spacious and has a nice atmosphere there is also a shallower section for young children, there are changing rooms by the pool and they provide towels so no need to bring any down to the pool.
The restaurant which is positioned right next to the pool has a breakfast buffet with a large assortment of food like local cuisine, a noodle station, savory and sweet rice porridge, Chinese cuisine and lots of fruit and pastries. The food also changes slightly from day to day.

My husband and I stayed here during our first visit to Surakarta (Solo) and it turned out to be a great choice! The hotel feels very modern and stylish, like a five‑star property, but without the five‑star price.
The room had a spacious suite style layout with a clean and modern design. It included a separate seating area from the bedroom, which gave us a comfortable place to relax after a day of exploring the city. The bathroom was also excellent, with a luxurious feel and both a separate bathtub and shower.
The hotel restaurant was another highlight. There was a great selection of both local Indonesian dishes and international options, and everything we tried was fresh and high quality.
Service throughout the hotel was very friendly and attentive. One thing that really stood out was the laundry service. It was extremely professional, quick, and far more affordable than what most hotels charge.
We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Solo.

We chose iftar, and it was a very good choice last year, the year before, and this year. The same delicious food, the same quality, the same wonderful service (cleanliness, tidiness).
For those who haven't tried it yet, I recommend giving it a try.

We always stay at the Swiss-Belhotel when visiting Solo. It is clean and modern with a relaxing atmosphere and friendly, attentive staff. Pak Benny goes out of his way to make guests feel at home. Arky with housekeeping kept our room spotless. All dining room staff were friendly and efficient, always quick with genuine smiles. The trainees were remarkably professional and hardworking, especially Claudia and Wisnu. Breakfasts include a delicious variety of local foods. The hotel is located in an area with no restaurants in easy walking distance, but Grab food delivery makes this less of a problem. We highly recommend this hotel.

My stay at Swiss-Belhotel Solo was truly wonderful. It started with a warm welcome from the lobby security and the reception staff during check-in. The welcome drink served by the lobby staff was very refreshing. When we first entered our room, we were amazed by the special greeting prepared for my child, which made both my child and my wife very happy.
The room was spacious, clean, fragrant, and felt absolutely perfect. The view from our room was also beautiful, overlooking the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque. Thank you to the Housekeeping team for preparing our room so well.
During breakfast, we were offered a wide variety of international dishes as well as traditional Solo specialties. The restaurant staff were very friendly and provided a comfortable dining experience. The chef was also very friendly; despite the restaurant being crowded, he remained smiling and even gave us some food recommendations. The F&B Leader in charge was also very welcoming and always greeted us with a smile, even during busy hours.

Nice and comfy hotel at a very strategic place, just a stone’s throw from the train station. Rooms are spacious, clean and well-maintained. Facilities are great and they offer great variety of menu for the breakfast buffet. Overall great option for business stay or vacation.

I stayed at the hotel for 5 nights.
The hotel is located about 1 kilometer from the train station. I know because I walked the distance. Across the street from the hotel is a public market. About 1-2 kilometers east of the hotel is the Sheik Zayed Grand Mosque.
The room was spacious, well-appointed and well-designed. The king-sized bed was heavenly. The staff was courteous and quick to respond to requests. The breakfast buffet was extensive, with wide variety and choices from western to local food. The food itself tastes great.
The fitness center offered complete training equipment, and all of them are well-maintaine. The hotel allowed almost 24-hour access to the gym.
It was unfortunate that the kids club was no longer open. It would have been a great addition for guests with children.

It’s my first time staying here. This hotel is great for business trips — the room is clean, the interior looks nice, the Wi-Fi is good, and the facilities are very complete and spacious. I also really like the breakfast. And most importantly, I think this is the only hotel in Solo with the most complete gym facilities, the equipment is really good.

Perfect for families! The room was spacious, ideal if you’re traveling with kids, and the breakfast offered a great variety of dishes. The swimming pool had a lovely view, and the staff were all friendly and kind.
The location is not in the city center, but it’s right next to the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, close to Solo Balapan Railway Station and Tirtonadi Bus Station, and only a 10–15 minute drive from Ayam Goreng Mbah Karto Solo branch.
A great choice if you prefer staying on the quieter side of Solo.

The room was spacious and the bed was super comfortable. I had a peaceful night’s sleep without any noise disturbances. In the morning, I managed to try the breakfast—the variety was impressive and the food tasted great, especially the local dishes.
The staff were friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with a smile. The location is strategic, close to eateries and city attractions. Even though it was a short stay, I was very satisfied. I’d love to stay longer next time I’m in Solo.
