The location is near the Manahan stadium near the Manahan culinary shelter.
Rooms are neat, AC, water heater all function well, amnesty is not bad. There's just no drinking water. No problem, the important thing is that everything is clean.
You can't get breakfast and that's no worry because there are lots of cheap food around. The location is also right next to the mosque. I like it. The price is very affordable, worthy for a backpacker like me.

Very, very satisfying. Clean rooms (scented sheets & blankets), cold AC, clear TV broadcasts, clean toilets. Service ok. Just when I wanted to check out at dawn, it turned out that the fence was locked and the officers weren't there. Luckily, there was a takmir at the mosque next to the hotel so I left the key. Next time, if you go to Solo, stay here again.

I stayed with my wife at this budget accommodation for IDR 173, 000. — nett (Reddoorz, Saturday) at the culinary mile Jl. MH Thamrin, Surakarta (Solo) City, Central Java Province. We got a spacious room with a comfortable double bed, a very good working AC, a flat screen TV with good reception (all free channels), two towels, two toothbrushes with a toothpaste and a small soap bar. We were given tissue paper on my request. A clean bathroom with hot/cold water for shower but the hot water didn't work, so we moved to another room but again the hot water didn't work (maybe a bit better). A Western style toilet with a toilet shower. Very good free Wi-Fi. Friendly and helpful staff. Spacious parking lot with a roof for motorbikes and cars. Other minuses: no welcome drink or water dispenser; no liquid soap or shampoo in the bathroom.
