Aston Solo Hotel

We booked a superior room on a Sunday from 2 months in advance, but the price turned out much more expensive than booking on arrival or app booking nearing arrival.
Staffs were all kind and helpful, i'm astonished by Solo hospitality. That's why we still love to travel to Jateng. Check in was very speedy. In the morning before we arrived, staff already asked our details such as our estimated arrival time, so no waiting time since the room was already ready. And although they had a wedding ceremony on the night, there're plenty parking spots. No worry.
Room was clean, fragrant, and Wi-Fi fast. But sink had little short faucet which made washing hands a bit difficult. The running water was also different, somehow it left black residue under the nails, i'm not sure why, most probably water had chemical reaction to my skin lotion?
In the evening the hotel treat us to fish meatballs soup, which kids loved so much. Thank you so much.
Breakfast had various food, our kids loved pizza and sushi. Adults enjoyed wedang drink and hot soto. The hotel also had some gluten free cakes, which I really appreciated. A young female staff was also knowledgeable when I asked which food were gluten free.
I really hope in the future they can provide a lot more various gluten free food.
The hotel location was veryyyy strategic, in the same block (within walking distance) we could meet old famous chinese restaurant, solo traditional warung, and cafes.

Aston Solo Hotel is a highly reliable and comfortable choice for a solo business traveler in Solo. The excellent staff service, dependable Wi-Fi, and strategic location on Jl. Slamet Riyadi are its strongest points. It provides all the necessary comforts and facilities to make a work trip smooth and productive.
Would I stay here again for business? Absolutely.

I found the room to be spacious, clean, and well-maintained. For a solo traveler, the bedding was comfortable and conducive to a good night's sleep. Key for a business stay, the work desk was adequately sized, and the Wi-Fi was fast and reliable enough for video calls and handling urgent emails.

We were extremely satisfied with the service. All the staff, from security to housekeeping, were friendly and very helpful. I’ve never experienced service like this before — even when ordering food or drinks via Gojek or Grab, the staff brought them all the way from the lobby to our room. Not even 5-star hotels usually offer that!
One thing I truly appreciate about Aston Solo is their commitment to reducing plastic use. They provide 3–4 water dispensers on each floor, allowing guests to refill the jug provided in the room. As someone who always needs drinking water and carries a tumbler, this was incredibly helpful.
We also held an event at Aston Solo, and the banquet team was very supportive — from the night before until the event ended. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel to colleagues, friends, or family for events or simply for a holiday in Solo.
Overall, our experience was excellent. If I could suggest one small improvement, it would be to include smaller towels in addition to the large ones. But all top notch!

This is my third stay at this hotel, for three nights for business. The room was clean and fragrant. The culinary delights were authentic Indonesian. The hotel staff were friendly and efficient. Parking is limited. Smoking areas are only available in the front and corner of the lobby. Therefore, smokers are advised not to stay at this hotel. The SPPD sheets are stamped and signed by the hotel staff only for the number of guests. So, even if you add one extra SPPD sheet as a backup in case of a typo, it still won't be stamped and signed by the hotel staff. If this happens again, I will call the hotel manager and reprimand him. FYI, there are many other hotels around the Aston Hotel with similar standards and better service. Thank you.

It’s one of good hotels in Solo. Staffs are helpful and the hotel has started to reduce the plastics.
