Pandanaran Hotel

Broken tap for the shower and on the sink outdated and rust. The glasses are dirty. No drinking water in the room and have to provide it yourself.

Be careful if you have a weekend stay. The swimming pool cannot be used because there is an event until 10 am. No compensation.

Stayed 2 nights as transit to another city.
Rooms, you can choose to have a smoking room or non smoking, but a double non smoking room wasn't available when I checked in (even it been requested quite long time before), so I moved to a double smoking room, fortunately their treatment for smoke is good enough, so I don't need to change room next day.
Swimming pool at 3rd fl was in poor condition, dirty water, sorry don't bring my cellphone to capture.
Breakfast also vary, Indonesian food and some western food at 2nd fl. Some are changed every day (partial different daily menus).
But this hotel is one of my favorite in Semarang, quiet and homey.

We stay in this place during our trip in semarang. It is located in the heart of semarang, and easy to find. The room is spacious and comfort. We got the room in the back building with pool view and hills. We booked by the app for special rate and included breakfast. The area breakfast closed by the main lobby and they are offer many varian menu. Besides that we can walked to simpang lima as city center or in tugu muda and lawang sewu.

The place is in the city center, close to the souvenir sales center, and the Lawang Sewu tourist attraction can be accessed on foot, the hotel is a bit old style but nice and clean.

The hotel is located in the center of Semarang, close to the famous tourist attraction lawang sewu. In front of the hotel street there are many options for shopping for typical Semarang food, one of which is presto milkfish. The hotel is quite old and needs a lot of maintenance, dirty bathroom curtains and old-fashioned shower taps, narrow vehicle parking spaces, with minimal lighting and air conditioning that is not cold, the refrigerator is not cold, but the service staff is quick to respond in solving it even though it is not as expected. Breakfast here is quite varied fan taste is quite good.

I recently stayed at Pandanaran Hotel Simpang Lima and found it to be a pleasant experience overall. The building has an older feel to it but maintains a certain charm and is well-kept.
The room provided ample space and was comfortable for my stay. One minor issue was with the toilet's flush, which was a bit problematic, but it didn't significantly detract from the overall comfort.
Regarding the amenities, the pool was on the smaller side, and I noticed that the water wasn't as clear as one might expect. On a brighter note, the gym was well-equipped with a good variety of equipment, suitable for a comprehensive workout.
The breakfast at the hotel was a highlight. It offered a nice variety of selections, catering to different tastes and preferences.
In terms of value, the hotel scores well, especially considering its strategic location close to many souvenir shops, making it convenient for guests looking to explore local crafts and specialties.
In summary, Pandanaran Hotel Simpang Lima offers good value for its price and is an ideal choice for travelers seeking a strategically located place to stay in the area.

Good old hotel… but very tight entrance.

Breakfast realy not good at all and many food empty and not good enough taste. Pool bit dirty totaly so disappointed staying 4night.
