After Legian and Ubud, now I am in Padma Hotel Semarang. For sure… hotel products and facilities are The Best in Town. However, what made my stay truly like home is THEIR STAFFS. From the airport pick up by Himawan, I am already felt special, and by the time I arrived in lobby, Aldo and pak Klinssman welcomed me warmly and called by name. Dita and Rahel completed the whole check-in experience well and elegantly. I went straight to Semawis Restaurant for late lunch and Dito managed to suggest Soto Ayam which tasted authentic.
My room was clean and well maintained, faced to swimming pool, nice and green view.
During breakfast which was peak, the staffs were still able to recognise me consistently including the trainees (I recognised them from the uniform), they continuously offer items and suggest to try other menus from buffet. I could feel the happy energy among them, I remembered how Ega on my third breakfast approached and had conversation warmly and very helpful as well as Alvi and Dafid.
The Guest Relation team including Fira and Putri had a positive interaction during my stay and never stop giving surprises in the afternoon after I finished my workshop.
As a solo traveler, I never been lonely as they kept paying attention genuinely. All employees who came in touch with me : greeted by name.
They also noticed I love orange color from my belongings.
All the food items I consumed during my 4 nights stay were all up to my expectation from the sweet cut fruits to local dishes such as tahu gejrot and lunpia goreng as well as Baramundi fish in different ingredients.
My request of hot water with ginger and lemon came all the time even they added honey, very thoughtful.
From friends of mine who live in Semarang, they talked highly about the Croissant quality and I do agree with them. Its the best!
I had one chance for swimming at night, the water was warm and did not hurt my eyes.
Overall I HAD WONDER-FUN STAY and would definitely recommend Padma Semarang for anyone who visits.
