Padma Hotel Semarang

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Padma Hotel Semarang, made even more special as we also held our engagement party there. From the very beginning, everything was handled smoothly and professionally, and the team went above and beyond to make sure our event was perfect.
The staff were incredibly helpful, attentive, and genuinely caring, which made the whole experience stress-free and truly enjoyable. Special thanks to Mr. Raditio, Mr. Irjab and Mr. Roy for assisting us from the very first moment — their dedication, responsiveness, and support meant so much to us.
Our guests were impressed, we felt very well taken care of, and we couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate such a special milestone. Highly recommended, and we would definitely love to return!

When I first went here, I had high expectations for Padma hotels since the reviews are mostly amazing. They definitely surpass my expectation.
First, check in was a breeze and the room was quite big (although there were no sofa since I took the Hollywood deluxe with XXL bed). Wi-Fi speed is adequate and doesn't gave me trouble connecting to my office VPN.
Next, they have 2 pools, 1 for kids with slide and 1 main pool which was massive in size. For my inexperienced eyes, I think the main pool is around 25-30M in length. What surprised me was they treated the pool with salt and its heated! Super cool.
Breakfast service was very2 good, one of the staff that I think I did not interacted with, knows what my table number is so thats a nice surprise. Also, they have a good selection of foods for breakfast and my fave was their Serabi, for a hotel its the best.
Highly recommend this hotel for any occasion. Will definitely come back.

I haven’t stopped talking about this hotel, in particular their service. Their service is what I’d expect from a hotel like Aman / St Regis.
The staff doesn't just wait for you to ask; they anticipate your needs in a way that is rare to find:
— At 9:30 AM, noticing we hadn’t made it to breakfast yet (which ends at 10), they actually called our room to ask if they could pack some food for us. That is a level of care I’ve rarely seen elsewhere.
— While we were in the lobby, they proactively offered to take our luggage so we could explore the hotel unburdened.
— Every time we boarded a car, there were two staff members stationed at each side of the vehicle to ensure the doors were opened and closed for us.
— The servers removed their shoes before entering the room for in room dining!
— Every single day the moment we stepped out of our room we are greeted by big smiles and warm Selamat pagi.
— The buffet spread is insane! Largely Indonesian food which is a treat.
Beyond the service, they have a water park inside the hotel that is fun for both kids and adults, and the swimming pool is heated.
The bathtub is amazing with great water pressure so you don’t have to wait long for the tub to be filled up.
If you are looking for world-class service and a resort-style feel in the middle of Semarang, this is the place.

Padma Hotel is a great choice for meetings, as the facilities are well-prepared and the service is very satisfying. The staff are helpful and attentive, making the overall experience smooth and comfortable. The hotel also offers a wide range of facilities and daily activities, which makes it a perfect place for families as well. Whether for business or leisure, this hotel provides a very enjoyable stay.

Stayed here for two nights with my wife and toddler. The hotel is very clean, and the staff are exceptionally kind and attentive. The kids’ playground is spacious and offers a wide range of activities to choose from. The room and amenities were excellent. The fitness centre is clean and well maintained, with new equipment available. Hotel is also serene with minimum noise and location is just a drive away from famous landmark.
Breakfast is a solid 10/10, offering a very diverse selection—from local cuisine (the nasi goreng babat is legendary) to continental options. Having breakfast with a toddler can be a nightmare, but the staff made everything much easier. In particular, Ms. Ega, Ms. Desy, and Mr. Dayyah were constantly offering help and checking on our comfort. They even offered to prepare a set meal to be taken upstairs when we were overwhelmed with our toddler.
In short staying at Padma Semarang is exceptional and highly recommended! 100% will be back.

The room was clean EXCEPT: we found a used eyelid on the bed and it was disgusting in a way (pic attached). Everything else is excellent, food, facilities, including free car charger for BEVs, and the services are top notch from when we arrived until we depart (please note it is excellent NOT only from when we checked in and out). We got a 1st floor room which is adjacent to the pools and playgrounds, so its very conveneient for families with kids. However, the location is a bit away from the downtown business district, well this could be good for staycations but not so good for others who wants to go downtown to grab some bites or exploring the city, so, I can only gave it 4 stars. Oh, we also tried the new terrace restaurant, sadly it is not kids friendly so we dont recommend bringing kids to the terrace.

Everything was great, the room was spotless and spacious, it also smells nice.
Check in check out process was smooth, only glitch was one of our room was placed on other floor (understandable but still a pity for otherwise perfect experience)
Facilities also was great and in good condition, archery with brief tutoring was great, the kids enjoy the playground and the complimentary foam party for padma member.
Best part is the pool with the waterpark, and using salt for the pool is really nice!
Breakfast was great with lots of variation mixed with local delicacies.
The staff are all friendly and helpful.
Also tried yoga class which also a nice experience.
Overall we enjoyed our stay and should we come to semarang again in the future, we will definetely come back to padma.

Seems this is the best hotel in central Java that I have experienced. The service is not just very hospitable but also very excellent and personal, they serve with their hearts and very intuitive. We encountered an accident due to our car rental service in their lobby, yet all the staffs from concierge to receptionist acted so promptly and with empathy. Room is amazing, breakfast is second to none if you love Indonesian foods. Will definitely come back again.

I stayed here tanggal for a short businesstrip at 12 nov. The room was clean, comfortable, well equipped. So aesthetic. The staffs were warm. Id like to give a special thanks to Vanessa, who was exeptionally helpful throughout my 3 days stay. Her friendly artitude and willingnes to assist made the experience even better.

Not my first time at Padma, but this trip with close friends was extra special. Reynard and Dita were so helpful with our booking, special requests, and fast check in. Dita always friendly and making sure everything’s taken care of. Ega, the buffet manager, even remembered our names from day one and packed me extra macarons! (When I just asked for box)
All the good gesture & delicious breakfast will make us back to Padma 🤍 (love nasgor babat even I dont eat jerohan 🤣)

Nothing to be complained about, all just perfect. Breakfast varies, their service during breakfast, all the staffs so helpful, they have small waterpark, big kids club, foods are also delicious. A great place to staycation with family… ❤️ If you're planning to celebrate something, no need to buy cake bcs they have pastry that sells macaroons and kinda small pretty yet yummy cakes 😍Will be back soon, thankyou 🫶🏼

The room is very spacious, great view, food is excellent, the staf are warm & helpfull. We specially want to thanks Mr Yusran & Mr Bayu who had been so helpful and service excellent in restaurant. We stayed at Padma Hotel Semarang from October 16 to 18, and it was a truly wonderful experience. The breakfast had many delicious and varied options, everything was fresh and well-prepared.
A special appreciation to Reynard, one of the staff members, who kindly treated my parents to gelato while we were waiting for our airport pick-up. His thoughtful gesture and warm hospitality made our last moments at the hotel extra special.
Overall, the service at Padma Semarang was excellent, and every staff member was friendly and attentive. Thank you, Reynard and the Padma team, for making our stay so pleasant. We’ll definitely come back!

A must stay hotel for families with kids. Everyone in the hotel was so accomodative to us during our 4-day stay from 17 Oct 2025. My daughters' birthdays were on 18th and 20th and both of them got the surprises from the hotel staff arranged by Dita, Alvi and the team. Breakfast is a must try as there are so many choices and it is nearly impossible to try them all in one morning. Also the sotos and nasi tend to change everyday, giving me the opportunity to try different tastes of Semarang.
We stayed in the family room and Padma is really generous in providing us with simple amenities and bottled water.
On my last day they even brought breakfast up to my room! They even ensured I had breakfast as I was not feeling well that morning. Prior to checkout Ira from Kim Tia chinese restaurant attended to our needs.
Yes we will come back here again next year when the kids grow bigger! Thanks for the memorable getaway Padma Semarang.

Our stay at Padma Hotel Semarang was truly wonderful! The facilities are complete and very well-maintained, from the beautiful pool area to the relaxing spa and gym. The food was excellent. Every meal was delicious, and the Chinese restaurant was especially impressive! The kids’ activities were also fantastic; there were so many fun things to do that kept the children happy and entertained throughout our stay. The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. A perfect place to unwind after a full day. Definitely one of the best hotels in Semarang, highly recommended for families!

After Legian and Ubud, now I am in Padma Hotel Semarang. For sure… hotel products and facilities are The Best in Town. However, what made my stay truly like home is THEIR STAFFS. From the airport pick up by Himawan, I am already felt special, and by the time I arrived in lobby, Aldo and pak Klinssman welcomed me warmly and called by name. Dita and Rahel completed the whole check-in experience well and elegantly. I went straight to Semawis Restaurant for late lunch and Dito managed to suggest Soto Ayam which tasted authentic.
My room was clean and well maintained, faced to swimming pool, nice and green view.
During breakfast which was peak, the staffs were still able to recognise me consistently including the trainees (I recognised them from the uniform), they continuously offer items and suggest to try other menus from buffet. I could feel the happy energy among them, I remembered how Ega on my third breakfast approached and had conversation warmly and very helpful as well as Alvi and Dafid.
The Guest Relation team including Fira and Putri had a positive interaction during my stay and never stop giving surprises in the afternoon after I finished my workshop.
As a solo traveler, I never been lonely as they kept paying attention genuinely. All employees who came in touch with me : greeted by name.
They also noticed I love orange color from my belongings.
