Hotel Tentrem Semarang

BBQ dinner at Carnivore Hub on 23 May 2026, I really enjoyed the food and the ambience.
I loved the meat station and dessert station, it is very delicious and complete options.
Other than that, I was suprised about their services. All the waiter/waitress was very friendly, they always use their local word that make me feel so warm especially, Thanks for the service for Mr. Joko Andino.
Definitely will visit this hotel again.

This was my first time staying at Tentrem Semarang and it was overall a wonderful experience. Starting with the lobby that smells heavenly, we were then greeted with a jamu station as welcome drink. The check in process was seamless and our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. One thing to consider tho, the regular room (or rooms without balcony might be better if you’re sensitive to noises or have kids) cause I got the Premier room which has a balcony and at night we could hear noises from the street. We also got to try the spa and the kids playground and it was also great experiences. The kids playground is clean, spacious and has lots of stuff for children. If you get the spa, find Mba Novi and/or Mba Desi cause they gave really good massages. The breakfast was also exceptionally great. They have local semarang street food (that they actually got straight from the local restaurants) that allows us to have a taste of it without having to go through the hassle of getting it ourselves from the street. Mbak Alia at Kayu Manis Restaurant was notably very friendly and attentive to us. All the staff were helpful and very polite. Overall an unforgettable experience staying at Tentrem Semarang. I would definitely come back and stay here whenever I come to Semarang.

A pleasant stay at Hotel Tentrem Semarang. From the moment I arrived, everything was handled with professionalism and genuine warmth. The hotel atmosphere is elegant, peaceful, and very comfortable, making it a perfect place to relax.
Special thank to GRO Mei Handayani, who was incredibly friendly and attentive throughout my stay. She went above and beyond to ensure that everything was perfect and made me feel very welcome. Her warm smile, helpful attitude, and excellent service truly made my stay more enjoyable and memorable.

Hotel room was clean, facilities were good, there was a small mall right in front of the hotel. Breakfast variety is vast, lots of Indonesian food (local and others). Service was excellent (served by Alia, very pleasant kind, and helpful). Will be back for another vacation.

The first time I go to this hotel, it was 21st 2026. I honestly shocked seeing the quality of this hotel and the kind, but charming receptionist (Mrs. Dinda) For the check in process it was quick but simple, so the newcomers will not have any problem to adjust or raise a question in this hotel. Personally this hotel was beautiful and modern but with it's strong smell aura and powerful theme. It may will be my favourite hotel.

The breakfast was really good with many interesting options. There was a wide variety of cuisines and me and my family greatly enjoyed this. We also want to thank Mbak Elfy because she was very helpful and kind toward us and she also gave us great recommendations. Thank you!

I had a truly wonderful stay at Hotel Tentrem Semarang, and I can’t recommend it highly enough. From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by the staff, whose kindness and genuine hospitality made the experience so special. The people here are truly lovely—always attentive, gracious, and eager to make your stay as comfortable as possible.
The service throughout my stay was exceptional. Every detail was handled with care, and the team consistently went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. It felt both professional and personal at the same time, which made a big difference.
One of the highlights was definitely the beautiful view—waking up to such a serene and scenic outlook added a sense of peace and relaxation to the whole experience.
Breakfast each morning was another standout. The food was absolutely delicious, with a great variety and high quality across the board. I’d especially like to mention Refa, one of the waitresses who served us during breakfast. She was incredibly kind, attentive, and welcoming, and her warm service made our mornings even more enjoyable.
Overall, Hotel Tentrem Semarang offers not just a place to stay, but a truly memorable experience filled with comfort, care, and genuine hospitality. I would definitely love to return in the future.

Very satisfied with the service at this hotel. All the rooms are very fragrant and comfortable. The food is also delicious. Thank you to the friendly and helpful staff at the executive lounge, Ms. Reta and Ms. Ardina. I will definitely stay here again.

A well deserved 5 star hotel from room, service, breakfast, to location and friendliness of staff, nothing is too difficult for them.
Checked in experience was a breeze and the jamu from jamu lady while waiting was excellent.

For me, Tentrem Semarang is a hotel with very good room, ambience, excellent services, and amazing swimming pool. The room is nice, clean, tidy, and room services delivered quickly; room ambience is excellent.
Hotel location is strategic, and bright; the design is sooo modern.
Last but not least… Swimming pool! 🥳🏊🏻‍♀️ I'm sooooo happy with this swimming pool, big (long and wide), their design is memorable 'MERMAID'! 😍 And so happy with their time management for swim — 6 am to 8 pm 👏🏻👏🏻🥳🥳 amazing! Love full! 😍😍 For me, swimming at evening in a very windy night, and cold season, was so challenging, and wonderful!

Had a very pleasant stay at Tentrem Semarang. Nice, clean, & spacious room. Delicious breakfast with lots of legendary Semarang Culinary. Not forget to mention the front desk (Mbak Tasya) is very helpful & friendly. Definetely will stay here again when I come back to Semarang :)

Stayed at Hotel Tentrem n I have to say it was an amazing experience! The hotel is truly luxurious and elegant, with a beautiful interior design and complete facilities. I was very satisfied with the service provided by the hotel staff, especially Prabowo who was very helpful n always ready to help with a sweet smile. Massage and body scrub at gaharu is 10/10 and the service by desi was really good as well! A very kind and lovely person, she gladly fixed my pulled shoulder. The music and ambience was also very calming. I would come back here again every time I visit semarang.

Had a wonderful stay in Hotel Tentrem! Room was very nice and clean, with comfortable beds and high quality shower products. Breakfast at the buffet was very delicious, a great way to try many local Indonesian dishes that had authentic flavor. The service at the hotel was also amazing.
