ibis Semarang Simpang Lima

It's actually not a bad hotel, but needs a lot of maintenance, the rooms are old, smells wierd.
The toilet seats are broken, everything looks dirty, the mirror is full of stains, the silicone on the floor is dirty full of mold.
That's the rooms.
The I would not have written a review as it is quite a cheap price to stay here, although I would compare with other places for the same value I can get better.
The the worse thing is the cards to the room doesn't always work, same in the elevator, it's really a horrible experience from the beginning.
Just give it a skip.
Find something else.

The room key cards rarely work. Almost every time, we had to go back to reception, and even the replacement cards often failed in the executive lifts. The hotel feels very old and poorly maintained. It seems they’re too loyal to outdated furniture and equipment— even towel strings were coming apart.
Maybe for what you pay, it’s ok!
The location was comfortable for anything in downtown. That’s all.

Ibis Semarang is a fairly comfortable hotel and meets the standard quality you would expect from the ibis brand.
One of its main advantages is the affordable price, which is cheaper compared to many other hotels in Semarang. The location is very convenient, close to Simpang Lima, across from Tentrem Mall and there is also a minimarket next door, so food and daily necessities are easy to find.
Drinking water is provided via a gallon dispenser, so you don’t need to worry about running out of water. Breakfast is standard for ibis hotels and quite decent. Accor members receive a welcome drink (standard juice or coffee), which can be taken away.
The main disadvantage is the parking area, which is quite limited. The hotel uses a valet service to park cars in another location, so you may need to wait a few minutes for the staff to retrieve your car. This might be inconvenient if you are in a hurry.
