Hotel Dafam Semarang

The rooms are quite spacious but slightly dirty, especially around the corners and near the connecting room door. There’s also a faint smoke smell on the non-smoking floor, which might bother someone sensitive to it. However, these issues are easy to overlook because the room service and staff are incredibly kind and helpful.

I had an exceptional experience during my first stay at this hotel. The staff's friendliness and helpfulness truly impressed me. Upon arrival at the lobby, we were warmly greeted by the staff. They went above and beyond by inviting the children to participate in karaoke at the lounge while the adults checked in. This thoughtful gesture kept the kids entertained, transforming their initial tiredness and crankiness from a long trip into happiness. The hotel room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast menu offered a wide variety of delicious options. Overall, I was delighted with my stay and grateful for the experience.

Best place to stay in Semarang. The staff were so nice, the room is spacious, clean and neat. Love the bathroom amenities.

I felt impressed with the hospitality served by Dafam staffs during my family stay in Dafam.
To make it fair, the room and service quality were equal the price I paid.
Room was comfy, breakfast quality also acceptable.
The outstanding point was the kindness of waiter that provides good service to my mother. The waiter treated her well, fullfill her request. Something that usually I cant find from another hotel with similar price.

The room is quite big with a good air conditioner. There is a special coffee maker like nespresso which is refilled and available every day. The bathroom is nice and equipped with toiletries.
The downside is that the room key requires a deposit. Which for a 4+ star hotel generally does not require a deposit. After being used, the key error occurred 2-3 times so that it had to go back and forth to the receptionist. Very uncomfortable.
Also the receptionist still not warm welcome from the attitude and conversation.
With many option good hotel in Semarang I think DAFAM should fix this problem to make them good in rating and choice to stay.
