Reviews of The Oxalis Regency Hotel Magelang
I do some documentation for event in the ballroom and some outbound activities near the pool. Everything's good but I don't know somehow it looks creepy.
This was my first and last stay at this hotel. I booked three rooms, and the experience was extremely disappointing. The hotel is outdated, and the walk to the elevators is excessively long. In room 216, the power went out three times in one night due to a faulty card socket. Upon entering the rooms, I found used glasses left by previous guests, and the rooms were generally untidy. Amenities such as towels were missing in all rooms, and the TV and hairdryer were broken and unusable. The overall service and condition of the hotel were very poor.

Overall just bad experience from entering the building until entering the room:
1. Booked junior suite which only has double bed option on OTA platform, but suddenly the option gone and only had twin bed.
2. Check in hall empty, no security guard, no personnels, just receptionist sitting behind the desk and could barely saw them. Thought this is a ghost hotel.
3. Gave a key card but useless to scan to enter the room, had to walk down to receptionist table again to complain.
4. Waited the card, but still unable to scan! The service boy came to help but still it's broken, the door is broken!
5. Turned out the room has connecting door but it's unlocked! Had to complaint again.
6. The hotel and the room itself are so dusty.
Good luck staying here! Remember don't make the same mistake as I did by choosing this.
