Atria Hotel Magelang

Stayed at Atria Hotel Magelang for 3 nights during the Christmas 2025 period.
As a hotelier over the years, I felt that the level of service and hospitality provided by the staff fell somewhat below expectations, and overall the stay did not leave a particularly memorable impression.
Upon arrival, the security personnel at the front gate did not inquire about the purpose of our visit or offer assistance with our luggage as it was being unloaded. However, they were attentive in managing the parking area.
The Front Desk team showed limited warmth, and on several occasions when we were in the lobby, there were no greetings or acknowledgments from the staff present.
During check-out, no inquiries were made regarding our stay experience; the process was completed simply by receiving the key and offering a brief thank you.
Parking was also somewhat challenging, especially in the basement, so we opted to park in the outdoor area for ease.
On a more positive note, the restaurant staff were noticeably warmer. They smiled, greeted us as we passed by, and contributed to a more pleasant atmosphere. The food was enjoyable and the variety adequate, though slightly below our expectations, as we had hoped for a more special offering specifically for Christmas Day rather than the standard daily breakfast.
However, the coffee was genuinely good and added a nice touch to our dining experience.

I was very satisfied with my stay at this hotel. From the moment I arrived, the staff greeted me warmly and made the check-in process fast and easy. Their polite attitude and willingness to help created a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere.
The room was very clean, tidy, and comfortable. The facilities were complete—from the soft bed, clean bathroom, to the peaceful environment that made resting even more enjoyable. The overall atmosphere of the hotel felt cozy and relaxing, making it suitable for both leisure and business stays.
Another highlight is the food. The breakfast menu offered a wide variety of dishes, and everything tasted delicious. Each dish was well-prepared, with impressive quality in both local and international options.
The hotel’s location is also very strategic. It’s close to popular attractions, restaurants, and public transportation, making it very convenient to explore the area.
The noise level was pleasantly low throughout my stay. Whether during the day or at night, the hotel remained quiet, allowing me to rest comfortably without disturbances.
Considering all the comfort, friendly service, great food, convenient location, and quiet environment, the hotel offers excellent value for the price. I would definitely come back again if I get the chance. Title your riview.

All Good service, the staff serve good when we need box to wrap our things. Appreciate for the help.
Just the room toilet not too clean. Need clean more. The shower will be better if has two kind shower: head shower and hand shower.

Close to candi Borobudur.
There’s a small cafe in front that’s open from night time til 2am, the toast is really good there. The breakfast options are also delicious, staffs in the restaurant are also attentive and helpful.
The rooms are clean and taken care of. I had a great stay here, will definitely consider for future visits to Magelang.

Stayed here few times over the years. Always high standards met and maintained. Clean, professional staff, spotless rooms, spacious lobby and close proximity to mall make it a great overnight or longer accomodation option.

We had event JFI (Jambore Florist Indonesia) on Dec 3, 4, 5, stayed 3D2N in beautiful room smells so good on corridor and mountain view.
Good breakfast with variety menu.
Staffs are very friendly and helpful.
Especially Ms. Ayu Front Office who helped us to find best room for us (double bed) room.
When check out unfortunately we left our jacket in room and ms. Ayu and FOM helped us to find and return.
For sure will comeback to Atria Hotel Magelang.

I loved their services and hospitality. Their food and beverages are delicious as well. The gym and swimming pool are clean and easy to access.

Got smoking room. Try to ask to change the room but the hotel said is full.
Interesting that I visit this hotel was not holiday time.
I booked room together with my faculty, but I got smoking room.
So so disappointed with this hotel.
Booked in same time, but all my friend got non smoking room.

Stay at Superior double bed, good and comfortable with 1 kid. 8th floor, nice view alongside mount Tidar. Swimming Pool is good also, Nice and good experince overall, willingly to stay in here again next moment, recommended for family stay and Kids friendly.

It is great experience. Thx for the hospitality specially for Mr Faisal, Ms. Navas, and Ms Ayun. Will stay here again when travelling to Magelang cause of the affordable price with full facilities, delicious bfast, and warmly welcome from all staff.

This weekend I go to Magelang for short stay… room is quite big and the pillow is comfortable… the hospitality is good from security to staff… Fantastic service from your Frontline Receptionist Ms Ayun and Ms Navaz, must be a pleasure to have staff like that working for you. Thanks again.

You will never go wrong if you choose to stay here, breakfast is great, strategic location, nice room, and plenty of amenities. The price is very much affordable compared to what I got. Fun fact is for the toothpaste, they don't use generic toothpaste that has bland taste like other hotels, but they use pepsodent, a quite well-known toothpaste brand in Indonesia, in a mini size, proof that they give best quality even for the smallest thing while maintaining reasonable price.

The one and only nice and cozy hotel in magelang city, with warm and welcoming hotel staff. Modern and minimalist style room design. Breakfast also nice with various indonesian traditional dishes so delicious. Atria Perfect place to stay.

Have spent 1 night on 2 room, floor 9 due to school holiday last week. Nice reception and parking staff has accept us during night shift. Minor on room maintenance, bathroom and some noices at night need to get attention by management.

The air conditioner was not cold, when I complained they tried fo fix it, but it was cold only for a couple of hours then it was warm again. The TV at first didn't work properly, they fixed it then it was fine. Need to work on the maintenance of the room. The shower output also needs maintenance. Didn't offer to change our room as well.
