Citihub Hotel @Jagoan – Magelang

The hotel is a clean, budget‑friendly choice with 34 minimalist, modern rooms spread over five floors. Each room is furnished with a King Koil mattress, private bathroom (hot‑cold shower), air conditioning, free Wi‑Fi, and a 32‑inch LED TV with cable or international channels. Additional amenities include an electric kettle, free bottled water, daily housekeeping, 24‑hour reception, elevator, and a mini‑store.
I do praise its cleanliness, comfortable rooms, and excellent value for money. The location is very strategic, only a few minutes' walk from the Indonesian Military Academy. I also appreciate it for being peaceful and suitable for children and highlight its practicality for business trips.
However, there are a few drawbacks. The Wi‑Fi connection can be unstable, they noted a required deposit and lack of certain in‑room amenities like hair dryers, slippers, or kettles in some rooms. Moreover, the hotel doesn't offer on‑site parking – although nearby parking is available – and room service or bellboy assistance is not provided, which may be inconvenient for guests with heavy luggage.
In summary, Citihub Hotel @ Jagoan Magelang is an excellent budget option for travellers who value cleanliness, comfort, and a central location at a good price. Still, if you need robust Wi‑Fi, inclusive breakfast, lots of in‑room extras, or on‑site parking, it may fall a bit short.

Coming to this hotel to support government program of Orientation for the regents all over the country, I found it overprice. Such thing happens everywhere in similar situation, peak hour. I'm happy to stay here, one night, because the distance of activity spot is just walking away, 10-15 minutes.
The hotel has a rooftop, where breakfast is, supported by beautiful scenery. To the West, the beauty of Sumbing mount, covered by cloud. On the other side, Merapi and Merbabu are standing proudly. Food is so-so. I usually have potato but I didn't get it here. Just fried rice and steam rice. I guess many guests prefer having breakfast at many food stalls closed by.
In the room, there is no table tissue. They said only toilet paper is available. When taking a shower, we have to be patient enough to get warm water, may be because it was over crowded that time. (Hopefully normal time is different).
One good thing is the long jogging area across the road. Be careful, it's a little bit slippery due to the morning dew. Any free time, come and see Suzzanna's grave.
