Mirabelle Joglo Village

Our stay at Mirabelle Joglo was absolutely magical, one of those we won't forget. Here's why.
THE PLACE.
The Mirabelle is an extremely well designed and cared garden (all this done by the owners), with wooden bungalows on the sides, a bar in the center, a pergola and a few cozy spots to chill here and there.
All the common facilities are facing the sea from up high.
THE ORGANIZATION.
When we arrived, we were in a rush to enjoy the early sunset (5:30), as our boat had run late. Laurent (the hotel manager) sent us a car to pick us up, and a rental scooter was waiting for us at the hotel. We could start the holiday from minute one, much appreciated.
Evertyhing is done so guests don't have to think about any logistics : Laurent would organize anything, and we would pay at check out. Boat excursion, massage, ferry tickets. Mineral water is free and in self service, which comes very handy. If we wanted to have a last drink at night after dinner, we would just open the fridge from the bar, take whatever we fancied and write it in a notebook to be billed later. This tells a lot about the state of mind that rules this place : wharing and trusting.
THE BUNGALOW.
We stayed in a wooden bungalow, with sober decoration but with everything needed and perfectly clean. The extrerior bathroom and shower is a game changer.
THE PEOPLE.
Last but not least. Laurent and his wife Eta are remarkable people, all kindness and authenticity. Everything is easy with them. Their two children are lovely.

Lovely place! We had a good time overall. We weren’t used to all the sounds of nature we heard at night at first but once we got used to it, we slept like a baby.
Great hosts and everything was thoughtfully done.

We stayed at Mirabelle Joglo Village for 4 nights and absolutely loved every moment! The hosts were incredibly warm, kind, and welcoming…it felt like staying with family. From the moment we arrived, they made everything easy and comfortable. We were immediately given a scooter to explore the island, which was such a fun way to see all the hidden gems.
Our suite was cleaned daily and beautifully maintained. The outdoor shower was a lovely, romantic touch, and the air conditioning made our stay extra comfortable. The breakfasts were tasty and fresh, and any questions we had about excursions or activities were clearly explained and perfectly arranged.
One unexpected highlight was enjoying a bottle of Australian red wine, absolutely delicious! Before the day of departure, we experienced some stress about our travel plans, but thanks to the hosts, amazing local connections, everything was sorted out smoothly. We felt safe, cared for, and in very good hands.
A true paradise with personal touches 10/10. Highly recommended! ❤️

I stayed at Mirabelle Village for 1 week with friends, and it was simply magic! Amazing view, beautiful gardens, cosy, authentic and comfortable bungalows, available scooters, everything was perfect.
Above all, Laurent and Etha, the owners, make you really feel like at home, and do everything to give advice and help you organize your day at Karimun Jawa which is an authentic and restful place to visit and enjoy.

We had an amazing stay at this hotel! The bungalow was absolutely beautiful, with a spacious bathroom and AC. Plus, we could see the sunrise from our terrace. The garden where breakfast is served is so peaceful and pleasing, very well maintained. The breakfast itself was delicious. A special thanks to Laurent, who was incredibly helpful and shared great tips about exploring the island. Highly recommend this place for a relaxing and enjoyable stay!

This is an AMAZING place, the most beautiful hotel to stay on the whole Karimunjawa island.
Perfect view from a cottage, perfectly clean, tasty breakfast, super helpful owners, greatest location (nearby few beaches and city center).
I truly recommend Mirabelle if you want to take a rest on this beautiful island!

As soon as we arrived we knew we'd made a great decision. After the travel it was this perfect oasis. Gorgeous gardens like everyone says. We are a family of 3, our daughter is 9 and we didn't even need a scooter. Able to walk to two beaches that were like playgrounds. Stayed 5 nights and felt so well taken care of. Did private snorkeling boat tour with the hotel and saw truly incredible coral garden. Brilliant sports massage too. Beds really comfortable, Wifi Super strong, even if electricity goes on the island they have a generator. Breakfast is really delicious, enough choice and so fresh.
Laurent and his family create such a good vibe and they have super taste. Outdoor shower great pressure and able to sit on a beautiful veranda surrounded by flowers where we could see the sea and stars. Really really recommend this chilled out hotel.

It's a solid 5 star for this hotel!
Room is great, spacious, unique traditional javanese style called "Rumah Joglo", obviously derived from its name Mirabelle Joglo. And I don't expect outdoor bathroom would be this aesthetic and practical.
Ambience is amazing, you can relax at the resto or laying on the outdoor sofa. The garden so beautiful, colorful, and instagrammable.
Breakfast is so so, not so many options (5 or 6 if i'm not wrong) and you must choose only one. Not buffet type.
Location not so far from port, very near to bobby beach. Put in mind if you want to go by car because the parking lot is limited.

We had such a wonderful stay at the Mirabelle Village. The booking was completely hassle-free and super spontaneous without any major formalities. We were picked up directly at the port and taken to our accommodation. We were immediately in love. Everything is so beautifully laid out and you have your own little bungalow with air conditioning and a huge bathroom and a Veranda with a view of the sea. Everything is incredibly clean and the room is cleaned and tidied every day. Breakfast was also included with a good selection and it was always incredibly tasty. The owners Etha and Laurent were so great — it was my girlfriend's birthday when we arrived and as it was all very spontaneous with our arrival, I asked if a little surprise was possible. They organized a cake which was so delicious and beautifully presented. When we arrived we got delicious iced tea and then my friend was surprised with the cake and everyone sang, it was so sweet.
Afterwards we were given 2 scooters which Laurent organized for us very quickly. A private snorkeling trip with fish bbq on an island was also organized for us. It was really great and we would recommend it at any time. The guide there also took great care of us — so it went off without a hitch — it was just great. On the day of departure we had to leave quite early because of the ferry, and they had also prepared breakfast for us to take with us. And Etha and Laurent were awake and accompanied us to the car and said goodbye.

An excellent choice for where to stay when visiting Karimunjawa! Beautiful location, near beaches and macaques. Delightful comfortable bungalows, clean, lovely bathrooms and a sea view. Superb breakfasts with even a vegan option. Laurent and family went above and beyond as hosts, helped with travel there, bike hire and snorkelling trip (which was amazing! ). Town and amazing fish market within reach.

I guess this is one of the best villa in Karimunjawa. Could see the sunrise directly because it's in uphill, water works well, foods are great, alcohols are available, can sit and play music in the garden peacefully, complete stuff in the room.
I stayed with my husband for a week here for our honeymoon trip. We also can rent a motorbike to explore all over karimunjawa and beaches are anywhere around.

I would recommend everybody to go to Mirabelle Yoglo Village. The place is very beautifull. There is a huge garden with beautifull flowers and plants. The houses are the cutest: You escape from reality. But they are also luxurious. The bed is very comfy, the airco works perfect and the bathroom is very neat and aestethic. The breakfast is delicious and the owners of the place are the most kind and helpful people I have ever met. They helped us with the snorkling tour, finding another hotel (becsause they (unfortunatelly! ) were full to book extra days there) and with fixing tickets for the boat back to Jepara, even when we were not staying there anymore. All in all: If you want to escape from reality in an idyllic place, really enjoy your stay and have the best owners, book here!

Good rooms and based on a good location. I can not wait to come back.
