It's worth staying in Borobudur overnight just to come here to be honest.
The owner has done such an amazing job making the hostel feel like a home you all share, that just happens to have a dormitory inside. A real social atmosphere, an owner who genuinely cares about getting to know the guests and their experience… I had to cycle to Yogja, but I left it right till the last minute because I didn't want to leave chatting at the table!
BICYCLE TRAVELLERS: there's a safe, inside space to store your bicycle, a laundry machine to use and soon there will be a kitchen… a truly perfect place to rest for a day (or I would recommend a week! )
This place is truly special.
I was surprised when I first arrived at the hostel. It's cozy, and you can find every detail in the decorations and facilities. It feels more like a home than a common hostel.
It’s not a fancy five-star resort, but it’s definitely worth the price.
The location is perfect. There’s a rice field in front of the hostel, which is also a sunset spot, and it’s close to Borobudur Temple. You can borrow a bicycle to roam around.
The owner is very friendly and makes sure you have a nice stay. He gave lots of great recommendations for the area.

One of the best hostels I have been in my life.
Since I arrived at the hostel I forgot I was in a hostel because the staff is so friendly that I felt like I was staying at my friends house.
This place has a chilled vibe, it’s cozy and you feel super comfortable.
Rooms, beds and shared space are clean, have AC and showers have hot water too.
There is breakfast included.
No complains.
