It's my first time visiting borobudur area and stay the night for leisure, before just for work.
Janur Bungalow comes as my first choice, since I love the see how unique the room with colorful decor and unique quirky atmosphere, turn out the stay is beyond my expectation!
Need to be noted that the room made from aged joglo (traditional javanese home), so it's not pristine, but that was the charm. But if it were preloved bag, it's in a very pristine condition. All area of the villa is very well maintained, water works very well, and the location and ambience is super! If you want tranquil slow and nice stay, here is the place.
They have paddy field, menoreh hills, merapi mountain, and can see the Borobudur temple itself from afar.
Tho magelang is not a cold area, the wind breeze while seating at villa's porch soo cool and tranquil, away from city sounds, more of nature and winds whispers.
The best thing about this villa is their garden, well maintained with lotss of flowers, the variety also nice, like various orchid, bougainvillea, hibiscus, roses, etc…
Tho the pool is not big, it is nice with fresh water (I didn't smell chlorine and didn't feel it in my hair). And the sunset vie (when the sky is clear) is magical…
Breakfast is simple yet superb! you can choose either fried rice, omelets, or waffles, accompanied with either tea or coffee, plus freshly squeezed lime. They decorated the breakfast that leave me speechless on how top is their services.
I would love to recommend this B&B to you all, and definitely will come back when visiting the area.
