Highly recommended! Stayed in a dorm room (which turned out to be private as no one else was staying)
Positives.
✅ Accommodation appears to be new (aspects of the lobby area appear to still be under development)
✅ Although on a main road, the rooms are quiet & I only ever saw one other guest staying in a different room in my 4 days there.
✅ Very close to Borobudur entrance (200 — 300m). About 15 minutes walk to town centre but has good restaurants in area.
✅ Useful facilities (beds are equipped with plugs, pull down desk, AC worked incredibly well, storage is huge as could fit my large suitcase & more)
✅ Friendly staff who greeted me every day & provided useful advice.
Negatives.
🟥 Shower doesn't work effectively (it is either very hot with high water pressure or cold with low water pressure). It's possible I didn't set it correctly but it didn't seem intuitive & was quite dangerous with the temperature it was reaching.
🟥 Because the accommodation was not busy, it seemed like no cleaning was taking place whatsoever (wasn't a problem for me as I'm not fussy)
I enjoyed my stay here and even though there were a couple of points for improvement it was exceptionally good value.
Great location (only 100m walk from temple entrance). Really new and clean rooms, with comfortable bed and curtain for privacy. Owner was really friendly and helpful. The price was excellent for the high quality of the guest house.

Great hotel! Borodbur changed the entrance in 2025, so the main gate is now just 200m north of this hotel. It was super convienent. Strong AC and OK Wi-Fi. It's about a 20 min walk from the bus terminal.
