I am from SG and visited Batam and stayed over there for 3 days last week… Left my phone at the hotel… and they actually help me recover the phone and return back to me in SG… really very thankful to them… They had very nice customer service… and good environment… only wished they had a lounge which can be 24hrs in the future so that can hang out in the night.

Highly recommended. friendly and helpful staffs. No stress. Nice ambience. Very relaxing and the food is reasonable great! Will come again.

Thief hotel, lost jewelry. No one returned back, even after checking cctv footage. Clearly only house keeping was in the room, no guest checked in. All 3 diamond rings gone. Not a trace of it. The hotel also not responding at all, of absolute no help.

Batam is the only place that is the closest to Singapore, the best place to relax and play golf.

Great staff. It’s the oldest and prettiest 4 star Batam view beach resort from the Singapore border. Highly recommended.

They have a small per corner which has dogs, birds, roosters etc… Fun for kids.

This resort has the most comfortable, relaxing, and genuine atmosphere. The band is incredible, and the management team really know how to take care of you. Great spa as well. Highly recommended.

Only 2 things good the Live band and the F & B the rest is very bad. Super worn down place with spoilt water showers, and customer service has gone worst thru the years. Over priced if compared with other resorts nearby.

Friendly staffs that helped us with our inquiries and we experienced smooth check-in. Resort provides two-way taxi (to Nagoya hill shopping mall/golden prawn 933, etc. ) which is very convenient, but do note that there is a duration limit. We booked a two-way taxi to Nagoya hill shopping mall and was told that we have a maximum of 4 hours (including to and from travel time) to spend there. Resort is maintained well, considering that it has been there for quite some time and there are few selection of leisure activities to do there, however, beachfront is dirty with trash floating. The resort provides express immigration for arrival/departure at Nongsapura Ferry Terminal which is a plus! Overall, we enjoyed our short getaway there.

Pros: 1. There is a free shuttle service fr Nongsa Pura Ferry terminal to hotel and vice versa. 2. A complimentary (free) breakfast is offered. 3. The food is superb! 4. There is music/band at the lobby every night. 5. Hotel rooms are spacious and with a window view. Cons: 1. You have to pay 500, 000 rupiah as a deposit upon check-in (to be returned 2 weeks after check-out). 2. Swimming pool is a bit small. 3. Beach front is dirty (lots of plastics floating). 4. Far from downtown. 5. Internet connection is so slow at every spot (lobby, swimming pool, hotel room) and keeps on disconnecting.

Nice, clean and comfortable place. Good selection of facilities and amenities. The pool has a nice poolside bar to chill at, and there was a pool table and sports screen in the lobby bar. There was a live band at the lobby every night of our stay. We got to choose from a wide array of water sports. The resort also nestles a small private beach where guests can suntan and have a few drinks/ice cream. The Kelong Seafood Restaurant had the most amazing seafood! And the spa was great. We got a spa room overlooking the sea and it was absolutely exquisite. Quality of goods were good, just that the service was mostly pretty tacky. They seem to be very short of staff. Felt a little upset that the buffets always closed 30mins before the stipulated time. The chickens were also quite rowdy, even throughout the night, but it was something we grew fairly fond of by the end of our stay. All in all, really appreciate the effort that the resort puts into organising events/activities for the guests. Enjoyed my stay here and would recommend it as a place to lay back and chill for a few days.

Nice and chill place. Shuttle buses provided from ferry terminal at ferry timings. One thing is there is no place to go for food except restaurant downstairs. Pool closes at 10PM. Taxi services can be acquired at the front desk. All in all a nice place to stay.

We just love this place. Staying in sea villa is our favourite and the best relaxing thing we want to do to get away from the stress life of Singapore… we have been here 4 times and want to keep on going. The resort is beautiful with improvements everytime we go. The staff is very friendly. We always look forward to plan our short trip to batam view resort with friends and family.

If ur looking for an affordable getaway at a resort some of the facilities well maintained while other arent. Go during peak season to enjoy all the water activities.

This is a fantastic resort we stayed over the weekend. Although the property is 30 years old it is reasonably well maintained. They have a great pool and in pool bar. A mini zoo comprised entirely of rescued animals will win your heart over. A beautiful resort for kids with a private beach offering water sports is great for kids. They have a beautiful spa offering panoramic views of the sea while you get pampered. The villas on the sea have breathtaking views where you sleep and wake up to the sound of waves lapping at the base of your villa. The service is par excellence with every request being met with a smile. The property Manager Anddy and his Wife Rosy, went out of their way to provide hospitality that personalised our experience. Can’t recommend it enough. Our memories of this stay will last a lifetime.

Far from Batam Centre (30 mins drive), but the taxi service is reasonably priced. Breakfast selection is not bad, and service is pretty friendly. The beach activities area seemed quiet, though.

Nice view and ambience. The rooms are bit old however spacious and clean. Two things we felt bad are poor beach maintaince. The beach water is full of plastic wastes. Second thing is the buffet lunch and dinner. We stayed for 2 night and 3 days. Everyday it was same menu and all are Indonesian sea food items. For sea food lovers the buffet will be okay.

Love how big the resort is. Despite it being packed for Bajafash2018, there were areas to chill and not feel claustrophobic. Love that the GM is a lover of music and events. Highly recommended venue for a weekend chill or to stay as it's the nearest to palm springs golf.

A resort with nice views and relax place right beside of Montigo resort. Room designs normal, but have a lot of free activities like cycling, badminton, tennis, children playground and etc. 45 mins distance from Singapore to here, really a nice place to escape from the busy city.

The restaurant service was bad. The new year beach party was boring. Other places they do it better.

Visited on 28/12/2017 and stayed one night. Nice place but I found no Wi-Fi in my room. Reported few times but nobody came and check. Then I went down to the front desk and informed. Latter one person came but could not solve. He went out to get his IT team but whole night did not come back. Poor customer service. There are few other better resort in that area. Food very expensive.

Local beauty, good service attitude, there are a lot of outdoor activities, the sea water is not clear enough, eat also can, family vacation good place.

This place is superb I like the venue and the ocean view outside my balcony area I'm staying at the fifth floor. The staff all friendly and very accomodating. If there's an issue they handle quickly except we have bad experience to Kelong restaurant we plan to order food but we request for the gonggong 200gm because my hubby can finish the 400gm, we plan to order 800gms of Galoupa, small Prawn so at the end my hubby upset we didn't order aside for the experience I still give 5 ★star for the hotel only. BBQ buffet you should try & the massage the room was really nice window glass see the ocean view also. Thanks.

It's a wonderful resort at a decent price. There are beach activities too, and some amazing places to take pictures! The breakfast was amazing, with tons of options to choose from! We had a slight delay with the check-in, the reason being we went during peak periods (public holiday), but apart from that the service was good.

Clean resort with friendly staff. Rooms are nice and beds are comfortable. Food is good but nothing to get too excited about. The Saturday night bbq however was fantastic and they did a great job on the lamb and satay. Buffet breakfast had a good selection and the coffee is excellent. Only downside was that they played the same play list over and over by the pool and their menagerie of birds was a little loud. Overall though a good stay and very relaxing.

The room is all nice and clean with great view. The highlight is the beach. The beach is not so big, but has clean water and nice to walk around. There is restaurant, games room, pool, and you can also rent/borrow bicycles, banana boat, and such to also travel around the 'sea'. Such a great place with great view. (+When I came there there aren't so many people). The minus is that the resort is far away from convenience store, mall or stores nor there is some near it (well of course).

What a beautiful place. Whether you're staying on a villa or a hotel room, you can be rest assured that these are very clean and well-maintained. Facilities are all very fun and the staffs are very friendly. It's not perfect though, the sea near villas however are very dirty with litters all around the sea on noon. But I imagine that's more of the visitors' fault. Overall, very positive and relaxing experience!

Stayed just one night. Have stayed here several times before. The hotel staff is really nice. We were drinking at the bar till late but they accommodated us and stayed open till 5am. Palm Springs Golf Resort is just next door and they are the premier golf course in Batam. My major gripe with Batam View is the bathroom. My bath tub was cracked!

Dated but overall great! You know it's old but way better than newer hotels. Complete hotel/resort amenities. Superb staff.

Good foods, good services. Bedroom are clean and tidy with large view for whole beach. A native waiter with poor English didn't make us fuzzy and more familiar between us. He let us meet with smart and funny bird from their mini zoo in hotel compound. Beach is in walking distance from Hotel. The best experience of Indonesian native dance and performances at poolside. We have the delicious cake for Indonesian National Day celebration.
