Always one of my favorite hotel in Batam since pasar jodoh popular till now. Clean, friendly & good food.

Best service and recommended the taste food.

Great place to stay, and have everything we need, great resto, at the centre of batam city, nice view of the city, great overall.

The hotel service is good. The parking area is not big yet not small. Don't park your car in back slot, they often put item etc in that place so the parking slot became smaller. They building look old, I think they need to repaint it. The interior make the hotel seems dark and old. I think they really need to change the lightning, the furniture, and interior design.

A short 20 minute walk from the Harbour Bay (Horizon ferry line) ferry terminal. Nice hotel, beautiful lobby, decently appointed rooms that are clean and everything works. The included breakfast has a ton of choices and tastes. Forget the big malls and explore the local street vendors and shops.

Situated about 10 minutes drive from batam ferry terminal… All the beds and rooms are very comfortable to stay… Free breakfast is entitled to all the guest at the hotel… Got a hot jacuzzi and swimming pool which is very soothing for tired ones. Sauna and steam bath is provided freely… Hotel provided cab service for ones who like to travel around the island… Club and ktv lounge also there for the entertainment…

I used to come to this hotel, a lot. I've tried their food, lobby, pool and of course their room. Most of all, what they've served are great. They've modified some of their room and the design. That's a good idea, considering they have been there for more than a decade. Their interior might not as sophisticated and luxury like many brand new hotel out there. But you can still feel their power in the lobby. With high ceiling and cozy song.

Always stay here if I go to Batam. There is Nite club and KTV to Entertainment you. Guest mostly come from China and Singapore, but some local guest will be make this hotel full occupations when holiday season. Close to Singapore so make tourist from Singapore stay here when weekend.

Location is good, the room too, but service's so slow.

Planet Holiday one of the best class hotel in Batam. Luxury with world-class facilities providing each and every one service satisfaction. I was here for the third time. Just 5 minutes from Harbour Bay International Ferry Terminal or 30 minutes from Hang Nadim International Airport. Located midway between Nagoya and Jodoh in the heart of Batam`s main business district close to excellent shopping and entertainment facilities.

The hotel is old, the AC naturally freezing, bath tub and shower are set, hair dryer provided, conventional taxi available, BNI atm attached next to the hotel, pools pretty decent but no shade so on sunny day nobody can handle the heat, good breakfast. Located strategically near shopping centre, restaurants, coffee shops, and fast food eatery (kfc, mcd)

I was came here just for pick up my friend. His name is Karl Wannagas, Germany guy. So he was came to Batam just for holiday on the weekend. So I guide him to stat in Planet Holiday. I never come there before. I never see their room yet. But when I waiting in the lobby. I feel comfort. But my friend said the room is looks like old room. Yes of course, that hotel has been a many years.

Advertised as with kitchen, but no utensils. Asked for utensils, told us only for long stayers, but will give us what we ask for. Finally, on the last night, the utensils came. Slow Wi-Fi. Breakfast service ends 1030. By 9am, limited food left. Slow replenishment. Certainly not catered for high volume. Perpetual smoke smell on a non-smoking room and floor. Otherwise, clean room, good location, polite staff.

Got a deluxe room for myself through Agoda for roughly IDR 800k a night. This place should not be charging more than 50k a night. The room is average but has a peculiar smell like things haven't been washed/cleaned in a long time. The bathroom has the same issues. The shower curtain smells like they use it to mop. The food is very average and pricey for Indonesian standards. The plus point though is that they have everything you could ask for — spa, pool, ktv, nightclub, restaurant, cafe, taxi service. And it's located a kilometre away from the popular hangout places.

Big room for me, for my friends, for familiy. Clean and stylish hotel. I liked to stay there.

Good security. Every vehicles goes thru check before going in to the carpark. Friendly front desk. Clean room. Value for money.

One of the best hotel in Batam, got various of rooms and good customer services, u will experienced a very good hospitality here. And of course its really near to Shopping Center and they are providing a shuttle bus too.

Great place with friendly staffs. Fully equiped with facilities, suitable for friends and also family. Conveniently located in town, 1min drive to harbour bay for ferry. Really enjoyed my stay here. Highly recommended!

Old fashioned but still good service.

Stayed at the hotel last year. Location was pretty good as it is near to amenities and the local malls (about 5 mins taxi ride, shuttle bus services were available too). The customer service and rooms were great. However, the hotel itself was slightly old (furniture and walls). Breakfast had a good spread but the dishes are more localised.

Nothing fantastic but reasonable room given the cost. Clean and comfortable. Breakfast was not great but ok. Good view on the elevator. However their service is rather poor in general. We arrived 2 hours pass check in time and was told by the receptionist that we have to wait for another hour or so for our room to be ready. So I asked her why is it that our room was not ready since we had booked it in advance and it should have been ready by the check in time. She made a call on the spot and by the time she put down the phone, our room is ready. I figured based on the entire conversation that our room was probably ready to begin with and their cleaner was just lazy to check if it's indeed ready. Only when pressed did they push someone to go check it. So please be prepared to push them for things to be done. Similarly, their spa receptionist had poor service too. We were in the midst of checking things with her and another staff came over and interrupted our conversation without any apologies. And the worst thing is, the spa receptionist actually got into another conversation with that staff and totally ignored us!

This hotel really a great place to bring ur family to chill and away from ur daily stress. With all the hotel staffs that so polite, courteous, warm and loving people where u feel at home. I will love to come here more often in future with my family again. And of course to recommend relatives and friends. With these I give 10/10 rating. Thank you staffs of Hotel Planet Holiday. Reasonably priced hotel. Its restaurant on the top floor gives a good view of surrounding.

The location was a a bit far from Nagoya Mall and BCS Mall but shuttle bus was provided. The room aircon is pretty warm despite requesting for cold aircon at the check in counter. Had the most upset experience at the breakfast egg station, been waited for almost 15 mins for my scramble eggs and the egg station apprentice just let another person take it away eventhough he clearly stated that was for me at first. Question him, the apprentice by the name Tika and he didn't do anything there after. This really ruined my entire morning.

Excellent hotel! Very good staff service. Was given drinks upon arrival. Had a spacious room with a very clean bathroom. Was very well impressed by this hotel.

Decent range from nagoya hill and harbour bay. Usually held small sized exhibition for education etc.

Value for money, however the place looks a bit run down from an initial glory with a more commercial environment around the place with up to 4th floor being shared by non guests. Also hall ways smell of smoke. Service would be 4 star though.

Comfy enough with good service from the staff.

I stayed here for 2 nights. The service was good, the staffs were kind and polite. The room was clean and cozy. I chosed room with beach view but the view was dissapointing because there was a construction going on better choose city or pool view. It's close to Nagoya shopping centre, some fast food restaurants (McD, KFC) and BCA bank. It was pretty hard to find taxi here at night but the staffs were helpful.

My name is Abdalla Lugo from Kenya. I love planet hotel in bantam city is the best hotel was in the hotel some years back, the food Gym and the rest was excellent plus the hotel staff thanks Indonesian your are good people.

I stayed at this hotel for 3 days and 2 nights and get a room on the 6th floor. This luxury hotel is close to Nagoya shopping center. It is suitable for people who like to stay as well as hanging out at a nite club. Because it has a karaoke and a nite club. But for those who do not think to hang out, apparently the hotel was too noisy at night. Even the sound from the nite club is very clear heard up in my room on the 6th floor! However, services and employees here are nice, as well as foods served.

Good facilities nice and warm service but too many smoke in lobby make it looks cheap and uncivilized.
