If you like quiet out of the way places and having your own cottage this is the place. Unfortunately there’s no food or store within safe walking distance so you need to have a scooter or car.

We had such an amazing stay.
We loved our view but more so loved the family. We had fresh cooked, top quality Indonesia food everyday.

We really enjoyed our stay here — waking up to the view there was beautiful! Free breakfast was really nice plus a pretty pool at the bottom of the hill.

It was amazing! Hosts were so accommodating — from renting a scooter through ordering a taxi for us and bringing new towels late in the night.

I stayed in Puri Yalus for over two weeks. Very beautiful bungalows, entirely made out of palm wood and bamboo. Comfortable bed, clean room, beautiful garden, yummy breakfast.

Basic but so old Bali. Comfortable, non pretentious. Let it seep under your skin. Owned by local family who are chill plus but always friendly, polite and helpful. Xxx thank you :)

My friend and I arrived to the Packerbox hostel and were instantly greeted by a friendly man who helped us with our bags. We were also able to check in early.

We stayed at this place for 7 days. I would like to give detailed review:
Pros: 1) superb hosting and very helpful staff.
2) close to nature.
3) sparkling clean place.

Lovely little place to stay with lots of potential. The staff were great and did a good job of cleaning rooms. The pool area and pool was so nice, it is very aesthetic and cute.

Great Location, good rooms and great vibe to meet new people to surf, party or whatever tickles your fancy! ✌️

For the price — it’s great.
It’s mostly clean, not too smelly or moldy (which if you have been to Amed before you’ll know if hard to find).

I stayed here with my wife for our first year anniversary. The room is literally 15 steps to the sea. You can watch the sunrise directly from your bed.

Overall all is good. Only if you bring a car, you need to park it on the narrow aisle, and cross your finger nothing would happen. On the booking.

Right by the ferry port, rooms were spacious but definitely wish there was air conditioning. The taxi mafia intimidate any grab or gojek you try to get btw, so be aware.

Basic rooms, but perfect for staying one or two nights before taking the ferry. The balconies are really nice with a great view over town and bay. Fan in every room. AC only in some rooms.

My friends and I stayed at the Kembar Inn for 10 days in Padangbai. Overall, my experience was superb!

Great service, location, and breakfast. I would like to give our room a way higher score because it is nice and comfortable, but the room smells like sewage coming from the bathroom.

Great a few issues with the internet but the rooms are essentially great.

We stayed 2 nights, located residential area which is quite and nice to sleep. Rooms needs more maintenance. Pool was not looking clean. Staff was helpful and friendly. Our experience was average.

Had my first scuba experience here and it was AMAZING. No stress, just good vibes and fun even for a beginner diver. All instructors and guides are super chill, friendly and helpful!

Just wrapped up four perfect days of diving here – I’m already planning my return! Did my first macro dives ever, and our guide somehow found FOUR+ nudis and shrimps on EVERY SINGLE DIVE.
