Cheap Hotels in Bali

We wanted to visit somewhere different on our trip and found Amed then came across these wonderful old style villas.

You will fall in love with Classic Beach Villas the moment you arrive. Beautiful gardens and traditional Balinese villas with a friendly home feel.

The restaurant that is across the road from the accommodation is right on the beach which is nice.

Wonderful snorkeling right outside the hotel, nice and spacious rooms, very helpful staff.

We had such a beautiful and peaceful time here. This place truly made us fall even more in love with Amed.

The BBQ Guesthouse exceeded our expectations — we only wish we could have stayed longer! We inquired about extending our stay, but unsurprisingly, it was fully booked.

I had a very good experience overall. The quality met my expectations and the service was excellent. The staff/customer support was friendly and helpful, which made the experience even better.

What a great 8-day stay! The service was incredible, the location was great for us, away from the tourists with nice must-see places within 15 minutes radius (we rented a scooter with the hotel).

The hostel is an aesthetically pleasing establishment offering unobstructed panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.

Excellent service, extremely friendly staff, and delicious food. Overall, the stay was wonderful, view of the sunset is beautiful and the room was stunning.

Great Homestay. Dani is a lovely host and is so open to share about jatiluwih.

Absolutely lovely homestay, I had a great time with Deni and her family! Even though I just stayed for two nights she already made me feel part of her family.

I spent three weeks here in March 2026 to work on a writing project and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Quiet, truly beautiful location and friendly locals. Kadek and Roy, the hosts, were great.

The most amazing place and people who own it. I slept very well and enjoyed one of the rare moments of peace and quiet.

Great place. Dog friendly. Clean, beautiful, separate kitchen, hot water in the shower, air conditioning. Nicely renovated room and shower. Pool. TV YouTube and Netflix.

A good place to stay for a couple of nights, very quiet and peaceful! It is a bit out of the way of things and there are not too many food options around.

It was a great stay. We stayed for three nights and the owner was really kind and helpful. The room is spacious, clean, bright and offers a great view to the ocean and mountains.

Had my first scuba experience here and it was AMAZING. No stress, just good vibes and fun even for a beginner diver. All instructors and guides are super chill, friendly and helpful!

Just wrapped up four perfect days of diving here – I’m already planning my return! Did my first macro dives ever, and our guide somehow found FOUR+ nudis and shrimps on EVERY SINGLE DIVE.

Top experience in Batur.
Miss Bintang is the best host, set up a guide for the mountain hike, road transportation and restaurant.
Very recommended 👌

Great location right by Mount Batur. We had a sunrise trek arranged directly from the hotel, which was really convenient. The private bungalow was beautiful, offering peace and comfort.

Villa Dangka is a great place to stay—very comfortable and easy to find.

The service here is the best service we have had during our Bali trip. They were quick to fill any request we had, filled the pool up every time we arrived, and were so kind. The food is also great!

My room was fine: clean, comfortable bed, working AC, spacious. Kettle in the outdoor kitchen area. Highway is nearby but room was quiet.
The on-site restaurant is good, extensive cheap menu.

I rent it to get rest after long trekking of Mount Batukaru.
I arrived at night time 8.30pm, from outside it's like a simple nice house.

I stayed in Melasti Mountain Villas in the Batur Villa. Upstairs has the most beautiful views of Mt Agung and rice fields. If you love a rustic Indonesian vibe this is the place to stay.

Pros:
+ Upon arrival, we were greeted by friendly receptionists that then offered us complimentary mocktails.
+ Complimentary decorations on the bed. Pretty!

Very nice people working here. I was assisted with all my requests — everyone was very friendly and helped make my stay as comfortable as possible. Beautiful jungle view and a quiet place.

Nice hotel. Rooms are ok and the staff is really friendly. The food is also perfect. The only little thing is the location.

This place, recommended in the Lonely Planet Guide, is quiet and comfortable, the host is very friendly and helpful. It’s a bit of sanity away from the hustle bustle of the main drag yet close enough.

Owner was friendly. Good breakfasts served. With fruits. Rooms was clean. Linen kinda lil dusty. Rooster kinda annoying.

Very near from the center, rooms were very clean and comfortable. Guest was very polite and willing to help if we needed something.

The room is spacious, clean, and the staff is helpful. The location is surounded by rice field and there are also padle court near the villa. I stayed for 2 nights and it’s amazing.

The people were so lovely, the hostels in a great location and the rooms are clean with comfy beds. The price is amazing for what it is, I would definitely recommend staying.

Green view is a great choice, location is wonderful as you are in walkable distance to everything important in ubud whilst being far enough to not hear the loudest streets at night.

Awesome location. At night is very quiet but during day has some construction noise. Great value includes breakfast. Wifi works well. Fan works well. Staff are really nice.

Stayed here for a week. Great location very close to restaurants and main Street but still quiet and peacefull. Staff very friendly the market is about 30 seconds from here. Breakfast was good.

Very nice place to stay, location is great.
They need to change towels more frequently and Wi-Fi was very slow.

This place is a 10000/10! You can not go wrong by deciding to stay here on your trip. Anik and her husband are very kind and lovely.

Very clean. Host is extremely accommodating and helpful. It would be great if I could have shut the bathroom door properly, it kept slamming and waking me up during the night 🌙

I would highly recommend you to stay here. We recently stayed for 2 nights.

We had a really great experience in this place, the service is excelente, the breakfast was delicious and ngurah is really nice host.

Good location, close to main Ubud street. Friendly owner. Great value to stay. The breakfast impressed me a lot. The room is clean and heard is newly renovated, so all furnitures are new.

I loved my 3 weeks here. Yanick and his family and staff were super helpful and friendly. The room was comfortable, with everything you could need.

I enjoyed my stay here, great location in the center but no sound of cars or scooters, I enjoyed the sounds of nature here.
Room was big and clean, comfortable bed, AC, hot water all you can need.
