I recently stayed at Ogix Cliff Paradise Hotel during my trip to Nusa Penida, and it truly lived up to its name—a cliffside paradise tucked away from the crowds.
From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with warm smiles and genuine hospitality. The staff, especially Kadek, went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. Whether it was arranging a scooter, organizing a snorkeling trip, or simply recommending a quiet beach, their support was outstanding and personal.
The view from my room was breathtaking. Perched on the cliff’s edge, I woke up to sunrises over the ocean and the soothing sound of waves below. On a clear day, I could even spot Mount Agung in the distance. The peaceful setting made it the perfect escape to unwind.
The on-site Warung Ogix restaurant served delicious seafood—don’t miss the grilled fish! The setting, especially in the evening with live music and a gentle sea breeze, created an atmosphere that was both cozy and romantic.
The room itself was simple but clean and comfortable, with all the basics I needed. I wouldn’t call it luxurious, but it had a charm of its own. The only small downsides were limited hot water and a bathroom that could use some updates—but honestly, the view and the vibe made up for it.
If you're looking for a peaceful, scenic, and authentic Nusa Penida stay—away from the noise and tour buses—Ogix Cliff Paradise is perfect.

A difficult review to leave… The purpose for our stay at Nusa Penida whereby we would be out touring and exploring for most of the day and just a place to crash at for the night, I must say it's the case of you're paying for what you get (in terms of the rooms).
Ogix is situated on the top of a hill with beautiful views, especially the mornings. The service is impeccable! A welcome drink on arrival and breakfast included as part of the stay.
The front desk can also assist with transport and tours as well. They really go beyond in all aspects to make your stay a pleasant one and perhaps so as the rooms leave much to be desired.
Unfortunately rooms are small, which gets stuffy through the night. The AC super freezes and didn't seem to find an "in between". The bathroom / shower is one and also quiet small. Expect bugs as it's location is surrounded by greenery. The adjacent "beach" is not worth the trek down. Overall, if you solo and can put up with the room arrangements, this would be an ideal place.

This hotel is run by a Family & they are doing an incredible job, the room & food prices are pretty reasonable.
The staff over there is very kind and helpful. ♥️
We booked a sea view room, which had a breathtaking view. We watched sunrise from our room & It was just mesmerizing.
Kadek, one of the team members was very kind and helpful. He assisted us throughout our entire journey in Nusa Penida. He suggested us all the good places and made our plan a huge success. He also picked and dropped us to the Harbour Port. We simply loved the gesture and with this we ended our tour to Nusa Penida with a Huge Smile ☺️
