Cave Beach Bungalow

When we arrived I was shocked by the fact that the staff entered before us and sprayed deodorant in the room then later I understood why, terrible place and also with excessive price, dirty rooms after three steps our feet were black, they use sea water for the bathroom so better not to take a shower, the kitchen where they prepare breakfast you can see in the video we paid for it but we gave up it is located in an area where there is no lighting the road is full of large holes and very dangerous and the staff already at 9 pm is not present we had no water we remained thirsty all night the problem of Indonesia is that the government does not control these environments that absolutely should be closed due to the lack of minimum hygiene conditions. I do not understand the people who have given good reviews to this place maybe they usually live like this.

Agus and staff were incredible hosts who will help you with anything you need, from programs to taxis. Our rooms were clean and had a small fridge, kettle, coffee and sugar, and bottled water provided daily, along with pool slippers. The infinity pool is warm and has beautiful views by the ocean. You are welcome to fish if you enjoy fishing. Close to restaurants, Pura Goa Giri Putri, and convenience stores where beer and cigarettes along with other amenities are available. Town is full of great locals. Authentic experience, highly recommend!

Extreme smell of pee from washroom. They don't clean the floors of toilets properly.
The worst hotel I stayed in, and surprising because many other hotels in Bali are very good and affordable.
Also, blackout middle of night for 2-3 hours, and no staff or anyone in the facility to help out.
Oh, and after complaining about bad smell from washroom, the caretaker came and sprayed a bunch of insecticide. It was so strong that we ended up wearing mask while sleeping, and there were dead insects everywhere.
Worst experience ever.

My stay at this hotel was extremely disappointing. Despite reserving a room with an ocean view, we were initially placed in a regular room. Only after expressing our dissatisfaction were we relocated to the correct room, after the belongings of other guests were moved without their consent—a very unprofessional approach. Additionally, we had to repeatedly request clean towels and toilet paper. The breakfast provided was of poor quality, lacking basic amenities like tea or coffee. The bathroom was disgustingly dirty, with visible mold. Overall, this experience left us very unhappy.

Honest Review: No Privacy. The helper would walk in through the pool side door unannounced. And they put all booking information on their front board with guest names & their room numbers! The only decent thing is the fact that you can see the sea IF you sit by the pool. Everything else is poor. Bathrooms were disgusting, TV not working, poor breakfast & service. The pool gets dirty by stray animals. Over priced. Go for other cheaper alternatives.

Everything was excellent. Breakfast on the terrace at the time we said, ocean view, sunrise, quiet, almost private pool, just 5 days in paradise. Lovely owners, helpful but not imposing. Absolutely perfect, access to the sea is via a lava cliff, water shoes are required.

The pool is right next to beach. It was full moon when we stayed so swimming next to ocean watching moon was an unforgettable experience. In morning water level decreases so u can walk further in the beach. We saw crab and starfish. I highly recommend this place. Though this place is far from popular destination but since nusa penida is small island u can easy get around within a hour so we didnt mind it. It was peachful and for the price point it was our best stay in our entire journey in indonesia. The owners are also really nice and helpful.

Stayed in the ocean view room. Awesome simple rooms with everything you need. Beautiful sunrises. The staff was so friendly ☺️ (ask for coconuts, YES FREE) really enjoyed it here. The east side of the island is way more local and less touristy and that's exactly why you should come here. The energy of your surroundings and the friendliness from locals on the east side is unbeatable. I wish we would've booked there longer instead of staying at the west side.

Best stay in Cave Beach Bungalow. The room was amazing we had see view. Airconditioning is good working and there is a hot shower (not usual in every hotel).
There is a swimming pool and 5 meters down the pool there is also a beach where you can swim.
The workers of the hotel are so friendly you can ask them everything and also they clean the room everyday. (Incl fresh towels) The owner of the hotel speaks English very well & he organize tours for around the island.
The location of the hotel is perfect if you don’t want to be in the crowded Main Street. In these street you are between the locals what makes it so nice. For food there are multiple warungs in the street, our favorite was SeeTara kitchen this one was only a 5 min walk.
Almost forgot to say they offer a taxi ride to the harbor for a very good price. We didn’t booked it and we were cheated for 2 times the price.
