Kayuna Villa

Kayuna Villa has potential. The huts are clean and comfortable, AC works fine, fridges in the room, warm showers, good mosquito nets at the beds.
The garden and pool is also nice.
But — everything is a little bit run down and especially the entrance/eating area has parking lot atmosphere. The breakfast is also very simple. And of course it is not located directly at the beach.

The room was cozy, very clean, with a large and comfortable bed. It also had a private outdoor bathroom surrounded by nature, which made the experience truly special.
However, at night we heard noises that sounded like cockroaches or rats. We didn’t see anything, but it was uncomfortable and affected our rest.
The place is generally nice, but it would be important to improve this aspect for a peaceful experience.

We stayed at Kayuna Villas during our dive trip with Legend Divers, and the biggest plus was definitely the location — it’s just a 2-minute walk to the dive centre, which made our early dive mornings super convenient. The villa is surrounded by nature and the outdoor shower was a nice touch for a tropical island experience. There are also good food options nearby, including Mambo Beach Club with live music on some nights.
That said, the property feels a little tired and could use better upkeep. Water pressure in the shower was inconsistent, and one night, we found a sealed chocolate bar we left in the room had been chewed through — which left us a bit unsettled thinking there might be a rat. Towels had an old smell, and housekeeping is only done if you hang the tag outside (which wasn’t mentioned at check-in), so our room went untouched one day. Even when housekeeping was done, we had to separately request for more toilet paper and fresh towels. At night, you can also hear music from nearby establishments — it usually goes on until about 10+ pm, which may be a disturbance if you’re a light sleeper.
Overall, it’s a convenient stay for divers, but could benefit from more proactive maintenance and service.

It's a pretty good place to stay. The lockbox didn't work so we had to keep our room door locked. Since we were out diving every morning, we didn't get the room cleaned. The pool is nice and the grounds were beautiful. The internet was spotty at best and help getting off the island wasn't the best route.

It’s a small hotel consisting of 7 villas. Villas are clean, comfortable and beautiful. There is an open bathroom in each villa, which adds to the charm. There is small nice pool surrounded by lawns and trees. It’s simple yet elegant. Wi-Fi can be patchy, breakfast is limited but it’s still entirely worth the value for money. Location is unbeatable. Just opposite mambo resort, near to restaurants, scooter hire and laundry and beach clubs. Very near the terminal. Owner is a nice, smiling lady.

Enjoying the beautiful beach view while sitting on the balcony of the room, especially the room facilities are very complete, clean and worth the price, shuttle facilities for those who have limited transportation, can also rent a provided motorbike.

I recently stayed at Villa Bliss and had an incredible experience. The villa is beautifully located, offering stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere. The interior is elegantly designed, with spacious and comfortable rooms that make you feel right at home.
The amenities are top-notch, including a private pool, fully equipped kitchen, and cozy living areas. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, ensuring our stay was flawless.
Overall, Villa Bliss is an ideal getaway for anyone looking to relax and enjoy luxury in a serene setting. Highly recommend.

The main issue for me was lack of Internet. (Wi-Fi works without the Internet, so what for? ) Especially in the place with poor mobile coverage, it should work. I understand temp issues, but not to fix it for a couple of days is unacceptable.
Staff is very nice and helpful in other matters.
Unfortunately, neither I can recommend a breakfast here.
Also, constant noise from the street prevented good sleeping.
