Asoka Bungalows

☑️ I had one night there to travel around this charming island. It was really a good place to stay for friends or family. They are always ready for everything we need.
💫They also arranged me a very kind taxi driver to pick me up from the habour and drive me to the east and west side of the island. He also took some pictures for me as well (because I travel solo). It was raining a alot when I was going to the Diamond Beach but he was an excellent driver also. Highly recommend to go there and book that driver. A perfect trip there.

The host and hostess were very helpful with everything. You could rent a scooter which we did. It was far from the noise but also close to the restaurants and harbour.

Fantastic stay, quiet place, close to everything you need. Great restaurants. 10 minute to ferry, they have bike to rent and friendly staff. The pool is awesome :)

A really lovely place! The bungalows are cozy, clean, and the whole area is well-maintained and very pleasant to stay in. The host is absolutely amazing — super helpful, genuinely kind, and always doing his best to assist with anything you need. It’s rare to find someone so attentive and supportive.
A couple of things to be aware of:
There’s a construction site nearby, so sometimes it can be a bit noisy. Also, the neighboring family has two dogs that bark quite often, and they frequently have Balinese music rehearsals. If you’re sensitive to noise, this might be something to consider.

My partner and I stayed at Asoka Bungalows for 4 nights and would highly recommend others do the same! This locally run accommodation included daily breakfast (we had the pancakes each day and it was great), an on-site pool, and options for transportation and tours. It is also in a great location to walk to local bars and restaurants, the beach, and shops.
We completed a snorkelling trip to Manta Point which was organised by the owner, and saw so many manta rays! The following days we also be completed an east and west coast tour of Nusa Penida by car with a driver. This made the process so much more easier and allowed us to keep belongings in the car when checking our destinations and didn’t need to rely on our own navigations. The roads around Nusa Penida can be quite difficult to navigate so having a local drive for us gave us a lot more confidence in getting around.
We are so thankful to the owner and his family for their care and service during our stay.

This place is stunning for the price 😊 Really can't find any downside here — spacious, almost new bungalows in a green garden full of birds in the morning, refreshing small pool, good Wi-Fi & A/C, large bathrooms, room service every morning with basic breakfast served to your verandah. Great location too and parking space for scooters. I'd definitely recommend Asoka to everyone 😊

This place is perfect! You can see the dedication from the owner, a hard working man, who has been incredibly helpful during our stay. Gave a scooter and helmets to get around without asking for payment until we checked out. No grab on the island so transport resembles the old Bali days so the scooter afforded us more opportunity to venture out around the island. The breaky was simple and delicious. Perfect start to a day of diving. Only a short 4min walk to any number of dive shops, the beach and insanely tasty restaurants on the waters edge. And the bungalows offer a massive bathroom, handy for washing off your dive gear at the end of the day. Highly recommend staying here if not for the friendly staff alone but for a great family owned business.

Great location, and rooms for a reasonable price. They also offer scooter rental for guests and the possibility to arrange tours of the island, including manta snorkelling.
The owner, and family were super helpful.

Me and my husband loved our stay here so much we extended a night. Lovely rooms and beautiful pool area. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend staying here.

We stayed 3 nights here, it is one of our favourite places to stay, the room is very clean and the host is welcoming and very helpful! We can’t recommend staying here enough, we will definitely be back! It is close to the beach and food places but also peaceful for a good nights sleep. The breakfast was delicious.
